I asked her for a rag and told her I would clean off my table, and in fact that I would clean off all the tables and she handed me two napkins. I said I really need more than this. She took quite a while to get me a clean, wet rag. The trashcan was so disgusting. I did not want to touch it to open the cover to throw my trash scraps out. She went and sat down at a table, watching her show on her phone the rest of the time we were there unless someone came to place an order. Like I said, the food was good, but I feel scared of what the kitchen looks like. And when you're talking about fresh fish, you need things to be clean, clean clean.

We bought some of the chocolate and it was very good. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming and provided great service. As for the coffee itself, I didn't really enjoy the latte I ordered because it tasted kind of off/burnt to me. Two of my family members ordered tea and also thought their drinks tasted strange, but everyone else enjoyed their drinks. Not sure what was up with that, but aside from the coffee tasting off, I loved everything else about this cafe!

This was our second time having a beaver tail, and this one was our favorite only because of the toppings we chose. We stepped into the little shop and ordered at the counter and took a seat at a table. We ordered the Maple Beaver Tail. It was fried dough shaped to look like a beaver tail, hence the name. It was topped with maple syrup which is by far the best in Canada, and drizzles of chocolate. Yum, Yum, Yum! The shop was bright, cheerful and spotlessly clean with all the tables freshly wiped down. It certainly isn't a diet type food, but who cares when it is this crunchy, sweet and scrumptious.

This was truly authentic, made from fresh potatoes, cheese curds and slow cooked shredded seasoned beef on top. The portion size they serve is generous. They have small and large bowl sizes with plenty of other poutine choice varieties. I also had a simple traditional burger which was delicious and a nice compliment with the poutine.
