It is a buffet style so you can eat as much as you want. The servers are so nice. It was not busy at all and was so calming. Started with a few favorites from the fabulous waitress who took great care to go over the menu with my group before we ordered. The French Onion and Creamy Tomato were both excellent. In particular, the French Onion might be the best iteration I've ever had. The crusted cheesy, bready top held up well to savory broth and caramelized onions. The Buvette, Tartare, and Escargot were all also very delicious. The Buvette was tender and beefy on top of a bed of cream of corn, roasted corn and tomato caramel for a slight sweetness. The Tartare was a classic rendition, beefy and mustardy, and one of the few times I've had tartare that was filling. After our meal I was snapping a photo of the restaurant and the owner Louis saw me and took a few photos for me. He's an excellent photographer as well!

The broccoli soup was excellent. Same for the house salad with crispy chickpeas. I loved my old style poutine forestiere with mushroom ragout, shallots and potato wedges / cheese curds. The size was on the small side, I was fully satisfied with the portion. Other poutine places have ginormous sizes so this was a relief personally. Waitstaff were helpful with translation, younger waitstaff were very polite despite language differences. They do not accept cash at the establishment. I also ordered a latte which was a good pick me up.
