I'm guessing that they were providing an estimate for something that could have been remedied using a simpler method. Their estimate was a 2 day procedure of typical body work and repainting, whereas other shops are using a dent removal procedure for half the price. In other words, I can't believe that they are not aware of what is becoming a common method to solve the problem.

I was on vacation from my job in another state. On our last day of vacation, our parked car was hit in a parking lot taking off the bumper, headlight, and blinker.
