My company is old school. We still like to use paper for everything. Screw trees, right? Only problem, we don't like to pay for the hassle of traveling with a copy guy and all his equipment when we have meetings. Read: can't afford it. Normally we're stuck with the business centers in our hotels. Have you ever had a good experience in a hotel business center? No, you haven't. And your pants are lit if you said you have, Basically, we start our meeting off on a miserable foot; angry with the hotel, angry at our ourselves, and slaving away until the wee hours of the morning to get everything printed and done. Not cool. This time around, we found an actual copy store, who knew what in the Sam Hell they were doing, and could take care of every print job we brought them. Even better, they're just a few blocks from all the downtown conference hotels. They're from Australia, so they're automatically awesome, but they also work incredibly fast and have fantastic prices. During one of my visits, I got to see one of their projects for a local restaurant- neon plastic-cut skulls for coasters! They were insane, and I loved them so much I even got to keep one. Talk about service! Every other day I was bringing them more nonsense that I needed 20 minutes ago, and I was able to get what I needed super fast, and even my weird pocket brochures were folded by one of their machines. Time AND manicure saver. No manual labor for this lady! I'm not kidding when I said I stopped by seven times. Occasionally it was just to hang out. Richard and Lisa are the best, but the real star of the KopiKats show is Trudy. Trudy is the official office mascot, and the unofficial best doggie in Miami. Also fresh off the plane from the Land Down Unda', Trudy is a chill, cuddly shepard-mix, who greets all her customers and then gives the lean, if you're invited into the circle. I'm in the circle, she leaned into my legs. Success was achieved in Miami. Oh, the conference was fine, too. But Trudy, my therapy dog for the week, is the best! As many things went awry during our trip, printing needs were FINALLY not one of them.

Dec 28th I got in contact with Richard regarding a "calendar job" he said the job would be done on the 4th of January! I even resend the file on the 3rd to make sure everything was good to go. and on the 4th something was "wrong with the art work" so he had to "fix" and extend the job. On the 8th he printed one unit and the printer "broke" Right before printing the calendars. He supposedly had to order a "part" that should arrive next week! He said "I'll complete all calendars over weekend pick up Monday" which landed On the 18th which is now my delivery dateI still didn't get the calendars! instead, he never delivered the job and charged me after canceling the job due to extending multiple times and breaching the contract! he charged my card $700 without permission after a whole 27 days! I went to his shop to come to an agreement & Richards wife Lisa with red hair came out threatening & very aggressive! Continued by saying she will charge me an extra $600 if I don't stop filming her! I have it all on video & the only reason I was recording is because she has been very aggressive from day 1! Horrible business, hospitality & integrity! I Will be going to court & pursuing to sue! So I needed a replacement graphic for a tabletop booth frame that we purchased back in 2016 from DisplayIt. Unfortunately, DisplayIt is unable to produce a replacement graphic for us because they completely phased out that product on their end. My team and I went to various alternative vendors, and found that the pricing and delivery fees were too much. Also, the other vendors estimated the production and delivery timelines that were too long, and would be too risky given our tight timeline. But when we found Monster Displays, it was a breath of fresh air. Not only are they eco conscious with their products, their timeline was quicker than the other vendors we looked at, delivery fees were very reasonable, and the process was super easy and smooth. In fact, after we placed an order for the replacement graphic, we got an email from Beverly to ask where we purchased the original frame from. She recognized that we had not purchased their frame, only the replacement graphic. So she wanted to check in with us to sanity check that the replacement graphic we were ordering would fit. That shows a lot of care and attention Beverly and her team put into their work and towards their clients. I paid and approved the proof on May 5, and the final product arrived today (May 12). It was well packaged, it looked so good, and most importantly -- it fit our frame from DisplayIt like a glove. I really really appreciate the team that made this possible.
