The queso, we asked for separately...10.0 Shrimp soup...9.0 (we wished they had other seafood like scallops, mussels, etc. In the soup) Hawaiian fajitas...10.0000000...as good as it gets...perfect. The service was excellent, the food came out rather quickly. We are staying close by at the Hyatt/Chesapeake, and we would definitely come back again!!

I'm sorry. I really want them to do well and succeed but hear me out: CONS: We ordered beef nachos…read more Completely unseasoned beef, and tons of lettuce, so much that the wet lettuce made the chips soggy in a matter of minutes. Secondly, you couldn't see the cheese. Also, the tomatoes they put on the nacho was just ONE SLICE of a tomato, not cut up tomatoes, but a single slice of a tomato. When you order nachos you expect a lot of cheese and the thrill of a pull and seeing cheese. No salsa on it, no onions, nothing; just cheap cheese and ground beef. Absolutely disappointing. The enchiladas I had had a sauce that you can absolutely tell came from a can. I'm sorry, I really am. But how can nachos be disappointing? At least put them onto the oven and broil them so the chips are crunchy. I hope they succeed, I really do. But IVE NEVER not finished enchiladas or nachos; I had to stop eating them. PRO: the atmosphere is good and staff were VERY friendly. But please, please, the food was not good. I hope they learn to make nachos better and improve their sauce and enchiladas. I definitely looked like it was microwaved. I wish them luck, truly.

Try not to fill up on the chips and salsa, because the entrées are super‑sized. The wings were surprisingly really good--even though we know they're not exactly Mexican. The burritos and tacos were delicious, fresh, and very satisfying. We just wish we had more room to eat! We'll definitely be back. Great value and very authentic.

They made is tableside and it was delicious. It would have been better if the ingredients setup didnt block our view but not a big deal. Everyone mostly enjoyed their food and drinks. The margaritas and bar drinks were excellent. My son loved his texas fajitas. My husband and other son loved their vegetarian combo plates. I ordered shrimp & scallops fajitas. My bad for not asking whether they were sea or bay scallops. They were tiny overcooked, rubbery, bay scallops that were fishy and inedible, but the shrimp and all the sides (beans, grilled onions &peppers, tortillas, etc) were all very tasty. The service was funny. We were seated and served very quickly. They did tableside guacamole very well and refilled our chips & salsa. They brought our entrees quickly as well... then they never came back. I was fine that they didnt check in with us but we had to wait forever to get a check. I'd definitely come back. They got all the hard stuff right... next time skip the scallops (but really, how dumb was i for ordering scallops in a Mexican restaurant?) Lol.

I love Mexican food and avoid chain restaurants. I was excited to check this place out when I read…read morethe reviews online, My husband and I were traveling through the area and decided to stop. At first glance my husband just wanted to keep on driving. Myself I am always open for an adventure and have found some of the best Mexican food in other hole in the wall places like this. There is no indoor seating, there is a small outdoor eating area or takeout only. You wouldn't know they served food from driving by or upon entering the facility. Inside is a store where they sell many Mexican foods, beverages and produce. The inside was not very clean and a bit run down, the outside eating area was littered with cigarette butts and soda cap lids, no trash receptacle other than a thin garbage bag tied to a post that was over flowing. On a good note, the cashier was very pleasant. Our food came out timely , I was disappointed with the food, very bland, the rice was chopped up and my carnitas dry. My husband only ate 1/2 of his Burrito. Wish the food was better and the place was cleaner as we travel down that way often....

A random find on my way home from the Eastern Shore but glad I stumbled across it!…read more It's a small market/corner store that sells a lot of Hispanic goods. At the counter, you can order food (which is what I came for)! They make it fresh to order. I had an al pastor taco and a tamale. Along with a bottle of water, my total was around $3.75. Can't beat it! Everything tasted great; I ate in my car before continuing on my way. I used to live in LA and was used to super authentic Mexican food. Hard to find in the Hampton Roads/Eastern Shore area. That being said, this was one of the better places that I've tried; tasted like authentic street fare. The taco even had radishes, which was an authentic touch you just don't see around here; made me super happy. Def will stop again if passing through the area.
