I was a student there and I had a terrible experience with the skin care class because of the unqualified instructor Maria Sanabria. There was no professional training, the instructor did not speak proper Spanish or English, her appearance was sloppy and unprofessional. The instructor did not follow sanitary procedures before doing any demonstration and never wash her hands. I could write a novel about the terrible experience I had, but I hope the education department looks into every complaint and do something about it. I do not recommend for any professional school to hire Mrs. Sanabria.

So since nothing was happening. I called the other location myself and asked for him. They didn't know where he was so i left a message with the receptionist from Hialeah campus. I tried calling him directly and no answer and no reply. I tried texting him and no answer and no reply. I ended up waiting around in total of 45 minutes and left. I was quite upset that I cancelled some appointments for a man that had no concept of being professional. I gave them two days to respond to me and never heard from them again. This Eduardo character never called me to apologize or to reschedule or to anything. So damn rude. And good riddance cuz I could never work for someone like that. Disgusting!!! She belittled me in front of other students, made disrespectful comments behind my back, and created a toxic learning environment. This is not the kind of treatment any student paying for their education should ever have to deal with! In fact, the same instructor is now regularly promoted by the school, which is deeply frustrating considering how poorly she treats students. Also spending almost $3000 for the program, they're supposed to give you professional tools, they give you tools that are less than $20 and they end up breaking within the first couple days of using in class. This is a small school, which is good because you get more hands on practice on the machines. The instructor for Electrology and Laser is Ms. Petrane Reddick. She is highly knowledgable and passionate about the beauty industry. She actually wants to see her students succeed and helps each one of us by giving us one-on-one time to go over the learning material or tests if we need her to. Her calm and easy-going personality make this fast paced course go smoothly. So, this course enrolls students on a rolling basis, we have beginner and advanced level students. What I am amazed mostly about Ms. P is that she can teach the advanced students and in the same sentence she will expand on the theories and content so that beginner students can understand. I'm proud to say I was taught by Ms. P and will refer all future students wherever she teaches in her future.
