Hidden gem in Davie! I first took my daughter in to get some pink streaks- we had a great stylist by the name of Sebastien! While I waited for her to be done- I went ahead and decided to have a wash and blow dry. Best decision yet. I've never found anyone to be able to tame my hair. He styled with curling iron after blow out and it lasted me a week! A whole week! Obsessed. I see him weekly now. The lady who dried my hair charged me more to dry my 4 pieces of hair than my actual hair cut. And on top of all the lady at the front told me if I wanted to do something different to go to another stylist after I had payed my service when she knew what I wanted, if you know what I want why would you pair me with someone who doesn't cut short hair? This salon is absolutely adorable and the women who work there that greeted me were incredibly sweet. Rachel did my hair for me and did not let me down. I have not seen a new hairdresser in over 5 years because I lived in Texas until about three months ago. I was terrified but had read great reviews and I can honestly say that it was worth every penny. I had a full highlight done and some lowlights as well. Had a great experience this morning at this salon! I called super early because I decided to cut my hair on a whim, and I was scheduled for an appointment with Ruby. I didnt know exactly what I wanted other than I wanted something with movement that didnt make my hair look too heavy. I have fine, curly/frizzy, thick hair that can easily look like helmet hair lol. She made some suggestions and put in some layers. I'm so happy with the way my hair turned out! This was my first visit to this salon so I knew that I may be taking the chance that I would not be happy with it but it was quite the opposite. Gloria gave me beautiful and very natural looking highlights and a great haircut. She was very attentive and focused on doing exactly what I wanted. The rest of the staff was lovely as well. I would give zero stars if it was an option. I went to the salon and asked if they could dye my hair silver from red and purple. Toni said it may not be possible to get to my goal of a light silver, but she said if anything she could bring my hair to a steel silver. She estimated the price at about $345. I was there all day long, I was the first one in the salon and The last one to leave, I was there for 10 hours. Halfway through she knew that she was not going to be able to get me to Silver, but she still kept on saying that it was a possibility to get me to the steel color. At this point I was at the salon for already six hours, she had done multiple lightening treatments and bleached my hair, my hair was a copper blonde mixed with red and orange tones, it looks disgusting like raw meat. I didn't want to leave with my hair looking like that and paying $300 to have my hair look like raw meat. So we had no choice but to stay longer and have the price go up a lot just to get my hair to a presentable level. She decided to dye my hair purple and silver just a cover-up the raw meat looking blonde and red color. There was still tons of red in my hair, parts that were not dyed, we ended up not even touching my roots, most of my hair is aqua green kind of blue, two parts of my hair looks slightly silver, a lot of my hair is purple. My hair was nowhere near what I wanted it to be, and what Toni said she could accomplish. After one wash my hair looks disgusting, a lot of my hair is not colored at all and it's just a coppery blonde, lots of my hair is red, barely any of my hair is purple, none of my hair is silver, my hair looks like I dyed it blue and then had it in chlorine too long. Toni Told me to wash my hair with color protective soap and Coldwater, which I did, but my hair still faded to a nasty green blue color after 2 washes. So after 10 hours and $500 on my hair, I am nowhere near happy with it. I was lied to about what my hair would look like. My hair looks nothing like my original inspiration picture, and nothing like the color Toni said she would be able to bring my hair to. I would've really appreciated if Toni was honest about what she could do with my hair because then I wouldn't of even touched it or tried to make it silver. read more

I went in for highlights, when I left, you could not tell I had had anything done!!! I went to a high-in salon in San Fran, received what I asked for plus more and paid the same price. For the $180.00 I was charged, when I left, my hair was not styled - I left with my hair wet!! YES, wet I had to go home to fix/style before going to my other appointments. I do not recommend this salon. The people, nice but service is not what I paid for. If you try to make a negative review on FB, the managers will not post because they review posting prior to them being paid public. I referred my neighbor to this salon because I had been here before and had decent experiences. My neighbor had blonde her that was too yellow and she just wanted a toner to take away the brassiness. She was seen by Cindy. From the beginning of the appointment Cindy had made multiple disrespectful comments to her like "I feel sorry for you because your hair is so ugly". I think that's just awful to talk to a customer like that! Then she had completely ignored her about having a sensitive scalp and not putting oxidant on her scalp. At some point she had even told my neighbor that she made too much oxidant and she doesn't want to waste it so she just put it on her hair. Which is why I think she ended up with this ugly gray color in the front. She also left the oxidant on her scalp more than the recommended time when she wasn't even supposed to put any oxidant on her scalp in the first place. My neighbor has burning scalp that is also peeling now. Her color is awful. And she is too traumatized to go back to this place and I don't blame her. She was disrespected, ignored, and ended up with ugly hair and burning scalp! I feel so bad for referring this salon to her. And if you end up going here make sure to not go with Cindy. read more

I didn't request a refund and resent the attitude that it is somehow my fault because I didn't make a scene in a salon full of people. I originally gave the salon 3 stars based on how my hair color came out, but i have been so upset over my hair for the past 2 weeks now. Ever since I had balayage done here, my hair (which the stylist kept complimenting for being so healthy) has been broken and dead. It also has been extremely knotty after i wash it, which it never was before. The entire texture of my hair has changed from whatever products they used. When getting my hair done recently for a friends wedding, the stylist said it is likely because they left the bleach on my hair for too long. We found this salon through a google search. This was my first time visiting this salon. The receptionist was very polite and kind. My hairstylist, Gloria gave me a very warm welcome, as well. She introduced herself and made sure I got double gowns so that my clothes do not get any stains on them. She took the time out to understand the hairstyle and color I wanted. When I made the appointment, I had only asked for root touch ups. Although she had a busy schedule, she was able to accommodate me when I requested my entire hair length to be colored, instead of just root touch ups. Although I did not specify, Gloria was very thoughtful and chose ammonia-free color for my hair so that my hair does not get damaged. She made sure any excess color stains on my forehead were removed. She worked very hard and spent over 3 hours in total to color my hair, provide a nice hair cut, blow dry and style my hair. She gave me the haircut that I asked for and it looked amazing. In addition, she showed me the hair products she used and gave me ideas on how to style my hair. She was very kind to me throughout my entire visit. The pricing is reasonable and appropriate. The staff have taken adequate precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic and they were wearing masks all the time. My mask was a bit stained due to the hair coloring. Their staff was so kind - they asked me several times if I needed a new mask. I was extremely happy with the service provided and I highly recommend Gloria and Inscape Beauty Salon. read more
