I laterally stumbled into the West of Ireland - Cape Cod today ... it is next to my favorite Cape Cod toy store in the Lemon Tree Village Shops where I went to purchase some gifts for a eight year olds birthday coming up Monday. I highly recommend you taking a look at this specialty shop! The prices are great! The atmosphere sweet. And the customer service is superlative. I bought the rings . My wife will be so happy! West of Ireland has been there eleven months (since middle of 2024) and it is a fabulous gem of a store! The owner, Bella has done a fantastic job merchandising with authentic articles of jewelry, clothing, hats, knickknacks and more from the third largest island in Europe, Éire. The store carries clothing, decor, jewelry, pictures, candles, mugs and even some snacks. The owner is very nice and helpful and is happy to explain more about each item in the store. I love to browse thrift stores, especially in towns that I'm not familiar with. This small little…read morestore is in a small strip mall and is staffed by volunteers. There was some clothing but also quite a lot of dishes. The prices of the dishes was very cheap, many pieces priced at only $1-$2. There was also a display of green depression glass pieces (I have a collection of pink depression glass) and these prices were incredibly low. My big surprise find was a baby A & W root beer mug which I bought for $1. I used to work at an A & W Root Beer stand in my home town when I was in high school. When business was slow, our boss would have contests to see who could drink the most baby mugs of root beer. I'd forgotten all about this until I saw the baby root beer mug. What a find!
