I had heard much about this restaurant - so was quietly anticipating an amazing experience! However, this was not the case unfortunately. The waitress was friendly enough at first, carefully explaining all that was on the menu. I ordered the mushroom and kale quesadilla, but to my surprise received one with chorizo. I explained to another waiter, and he grabbed my plate and rambled on how it wasn't my fault but the kitchens. Fair enough. I waited.. and waited.. and waited... finally I get my dish, plonked in front of me without ever a 'sorry'. The food itself was 'meh..', nothing to write home about. But the sauces on the table were lush. We were sat near a table of six, who were having two more guests coming along. After finishing our meal, the waitress asked if we wanted desert and see if we could move tables because two customers of hers were 'very upset they couldn't sit with their friends' (during which she was leaning on my arm). The bill came and with an optional service charge, we decided we were not going to pay it, and put our exact amount in cash down and walked out. Low and behold, we are chased across the restaurant by the frantic waitress and told we had not paid the full amount (at this point, she was getting all flustered and had hooked her finger on to my dining companion in some sort of bizarre rage). She slammed the money down and stormed off. We spoke to the manager who was probably the only consolation to our dining experience. All in all, having a wrong order, being scolded at and 'shooed' out of a restaurant, is not particularly how I'd like to spend my Sunday afternoon. Wouldn't recommend it. read more
