The protocol here is like a fish market where u buy your choice of fish by the kilo. My wife and…read moreI split a sea bass. She had hers grilled in garlic butter. I had mine made in a very slightly spicy sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection, both dishes were mouthwatering good. I choose mixed vegetables which were perfectly grilled and seasoned to be the best I ever had. My wife choose a pasta which she said was prepared perfectly. They started us out with a cup of fish soup broth that was excellent as well. Highly recommend!!!! P.S. service was excellent as well.

The menu was all in Spanish but the manager was nice enough to translate it for us. Some of us order off the menu...the rest shared in their fresh caught fish. They sell the fish by the kg and we were able to decide how we wanted each filet prepared. We decided to get one tempura, one garlic butter (my personal favorite) , one whole fish fried, and one other way which I forget. They even made a soup out of the head and tail left over from the filets. The best part was the price. It was surprisingly affordable. And came out to less than $10 per person even with drinks etc. This place is great when you want something delicious and not touristy. What a great treat.

It is, by far, some of the best seafood I have had in Cancún. Beyond the excellent food, the service is truly superb and is reason enough to keep coming back. Lyss, a young woman from Cuba, went above and beyond as our host and server to ensure we had the best possible experience. She made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and at home from the moment we arrived. Lyss had a complete and accurate understanding of the menu, listened carefully to our allergy concerns, and helped us find great options and compromises so we could enjoy a wonderful meal safely and comfortably. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our visit memorable. I would absolutely return to Pescaditos, not only for the outstanding seafood, but also in the hope that Lyss can be our server again. Highly recommend

The drinks we got - margarita in the rocks and passion fruit margarita made with rum - was tasty however $16 a drink seems on the high side. We ordered the mixed fajitas that came with chicken, steak and shrimp. Was slightly disappointed as the meat itself lacked seasoning however maybe you are suppose to slather it in the salsa? The drinks were the all star of the meal.

The wine selection is superb. And by the way did I mention desserts? They were absolutely fantastic as well. There are many restaurants in Cancun near to the touristy areas. In my opinion, most of these are expensive and bad. This is off the beaten track, but well worth the effort. We had a car so it was easy for us to arrive. They did offer valet parking for 50 pesos. I thought that worked well and was worth the money as this is kind of in a residential area with limited parking.

It's definitely on the more upscale side of things and most of the menu is in Spanish and service was all in Spanish but you should be able to get what you want. The ambiance is a slightly dimly lit bar and the food prices are definitely higher than most places here but it's worth it. Tostada de atun (Tuna Tostada): 10/10 Very good fish. Has a very steak-like texturre and delicious. Quesadilla langosta (Lobster Quesadilla): 10/10 Lovely! My friend ordered it and it was fantastic. Price is fairly high since it's more upscale but was creamy and meaty. Raviolli Langosta (Lobster Ravioli): My friend ordered 4 Tacos but since most of them had shrimp and I'm allergic I didn't have those, but it was good according to them. Overall, lovely place, food was good and highly recommended!
