In the grocery section they have a lot of artisan pastas, I especially like the fettucine made with black ink. They also have a good range of other products like pomegranate juice, Tahini, heavenly banana bread and conserves. I love when zucchinin flowers and artichokes are in season because know I will be able to buy them there. It's definitely the fruit and vege market for people who like 'different' things.

Only a dozen tables or so, the service was attentive and charming without being overbearing. They were quick with a laugh and a good-natured joke. The stand-out attribute of the food was the portion sizes. It's not often you order pork belly and get something the size of a full pork roast, but it happened here and with a delicious mustardy sauce and crunchy potatoes was the highlight of our meal. The tomato salad was a bit lacklustre (the tomatoes were a bit too bland for it), but the veal saltimbocca was very good as was the scallops with mushrooms and prosciutto. We gave it our best shot but ended up leaving a fair bit on the plate, which the staff were only too happy to put in a doggy bag (and we weren't the only ones leaving with some left-overs). We'll definitely keep this in mind for a quiet romantic dinner again... we might just skip lunch first next time!

The restaurant has a quite extensive menu with specials. We ordered lasagna for one meal which was a generous serve. I ordered the special pork cutlet which was a double cutlet with a mustard based sauce and some vegetables the meal was huge and my wife ordered Eye Fillet which was cooked as ordered and was very tasty and again large. All in all a good experience.

We all had different entrees & mains and the food was first class. Service is seamless & highly professional.
