Finally made it over to try this little gem. Locally owned by 3 close friends with great service ( Andrew and David were excellent servers) All the typical dishes you would expect and excellent combos like ribeye and bacon wrapped shrimp. I had to try the stuffed avocado. It was filled with your choice of chicken or beef fajita meat. I was given the option so tried both. Full service bar. It is my understanding they are also open for breakfast which we will have to try on another visit. No room for dessert but they looked excellent. Will Not be going back to Pinehurst restraunt...I will visit the Tomball Location on Business 249 which has always had good food and service. Personally ordered three crispy tacos...soggy shells, 1/2 the shell missing on last taco. Refried Beans were runny on my plate. Chip Salsa dishes were less than half filled with red & green sauce. Cheese bowl was of marginal quality and quantity. Son asked for mushrooms in his Fajita plate. He only located one small piece. Stuffed Avocados were small, baked with a brown 'something' coating, not deep fried...maybe a spoonful of meat. Variety of other issues with the entire food experience. Was Not the Dining Experience expected or experienced in several past visits. Service was fine. Food preparation and presentation were seriously lacking given it was Mother's Day Weekend. read more

Cute little place. Employees are very friendly and attentive. The red salsa is warm and not spicy. The green salsa has decent flavor and cold. I am not at all a fan of warm salsa! The chips were warm but the more thick chips, my preference is a thinner chip. I got the chimichanga with ground beef. It was only lightly fried and was so full of refried beans of which was not stated on the menu that it seemed more of a bean burrito. The refried beans did not have good flavor and were not hot. The charro beans had a little spice to them and tasted "ok" I did really like the rice. The queso flameado with chicken was ok. The small queso dip we got was very bland and plain. It wasn't terrible but not a place I'd tell my acquaintances to go try out. Super mid! read more

First time coming here and I liked it. The restaurant is so cute inside. It really makes me feel like I'm not in Texas anymore. I got the taco salad which was pretty good, the tortilla shell was yummy. I was hoping that they would have had some type of house made ranch with the salad, but they did not. Instead, and unfortunately, they only had hidden ranch. I don't like hidden ranch. I would expect a place like this to have a house made dressing with their taco salad. This place is our go-to for date night, bringing the family, or friends visiting, and I can't wait to try the second location! The food is amazing and not horribly priced like a few in the area. The service can be a little slow once in a while, but you won't usually run out of drinks or anything, the food just takes a little longer because it's fresh. Waited another 40 minutes before we finally walked out because they never served us. I gave them 3 chances over a Period. Of 2 months thinking they might be short staffed. Well - they just don't care and food scale 1-10 10 being great I would give them a 4 I'll never go back Magnolia has 3 great Mexican restaurants you can't go wrong. All three of them are great. Nice place. It is okay and I can tell they are trying. Atmosphere is slightly festive yet comfortable. Food is okay, pretty good. Service is friendly but just the mechanics of running service to the tables appeared to struggle a bit tonight. There was our table and two others around us, both served before us, and all three tables had errors on their orders. It may of been a simple language barrier as items that were brought to table were not correct. We ordered the fajitas for two and my wife asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare. When they brought our meal, we had fajitas for two but then also another full steak cooked medium rare. I felt bad for them so I just asked them to box it up. I really struggled with this review. Wanted to give it 4 stars, but I just couldn't. A few things were really good and few things not good at all. The good- Ordered the food to go. Restaurant was clean and servers/ hostess were friendly. Queso was really good. 4 stars. Chips were pretty good too. Salsa was good. Needed a little salt. My Al carbon burrito with steak was excellent. Especially for the price. Good rice and beans too. Would absolutely order again. Tortillas were good too. The bad- Got 2 margaritas. Regular and skinny. Both rocks. They were awful. 1 star. Clearly a store bought mix. And they were expensive! The skinny was $13. Absolutely disgusting. I'll be drinking beer if I go back. The chicken fajitas were not good. At all. Dry. Over cooked. And a tiny portion for $18. I love local places that are close. And I'll probably go back. We tried this place for dinner this evening. They were busy & there were a few little snags, but the food was good overall. I tried a watermelon margarita, but it was a little too sweet for my liking. My wife had the Laredo dinner & I had the chef's special fajitas with beef. The service was good. They corrected the problems we had, so I will likely go back again & give them another try. Maybe a little earlier in the day when it's not as busy.
