The little ceramic dogs her mothers friend had had, the fancy cake plate... Interesting, I suppose. This is an order at the counter, pay in advance, and they give you a little flag with a number on it place. Okay, pet peeve one, I hate tipping in advance, but it is a common kiosk thing now. Pet Peeve 2 all the prices rang up a dollar or two higher than the menu prices. (Soup and sandwich menu price 13 rang up 15) I understand inflation is a thing but if you're going to raise prices, go ahead and hit print on some new menus. It's a short menu, it's only two pages long. Second fact, prepare to wait. Maybe one chef back there hand wrangling each burger or sandwich by hand. Third fact there's about six tables with comfortable chairs and the rest have hard plastic chairs. so if you are coming at a busy time, you aren't going to have a padded seat. Countering these irritations is the fact that the food is actually really really good. It is simple fare, but really well done. The potato soup hovered just on the soup side of the line between potato soup and mashed potatoes, but had fresh crispy bacon and scallions added right before serving. The roast beef sandwich had sliced roast freshly from the oven just for this sandwich. So we got five star food but the rest of the package doesn't add up for me. I'm going to give it four.

The staff was one of the biggest highlights of our visit. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. They checked on us often without ever making us feel rushed or interrupted, which is a balance that's surprisingly hard to find. Unfortunately, the food just didn't live up to the experience. While everything arrived fresh and looked appealing, the flavors were very underwhelming. Most of our meal was bland and lacked the seasoning or depth that would make us want to come back. We kept expecting each bite to have that classic diner comfort-food flavor, but it never quite got there. I genuinely wanted to love this place because the people and the atmosphere were wonderful. With a few improvements to the food, I think Magnolia Diner could be really good. I appreciate the hospitality we received and hope the kitchen finds a way to match the quality of the service.

Fairly modern construction. Decorated in vintage movie posters clean and in good repair. Prompt and friendly service. The food was all good, freshly made. The onion rings stood out with slightly crunchy onions. I ordered the Reuben. Which is corned beef, Sauerkraut, and melted swiss cheese on rye. Excellent. Overall, this is a solid choice if you want to time teavel to a Diner with retro food.

My Corned Beef Hash hit the spot. The rye bread and potatoes are the perfect accompaniment to the corned beef and, of course, the egg. The portion was generous, I brought my left overs home, re-heated it in a skillet and added an egg since I ate all of the eggs it was served with. It was just as tasty the second time. I also enjoyed the Corpse Reviver cocktail. They showcase their craft cocktails, but there are craft beer and wine offerings as well.

Housed in a renovated home, Graze has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, with plenty of characters. The place is pretty packed for Friday lunch time. We started with a few appetizers. Shi Tuna Wonton (4.5/5), Foie Gras Meatballs (3/5 - meatballs are good, but the BBQ glaze is a little too sweet for my taste), Fried Brussel Sprouts (3.5/5 - good flavor, but wish they'd been cooked a little crispier). For the main, we both got the Kobe burger and substituted the regular fries with Tikka Masala fries. The burger was excellent, the tikka masala was solid, however the fries were a bit soft from the sauce. For drinks, I wasn't a fan of the Social Butterfly mocktail, but the Jaded & Confused cocktail was very good. Overall, we had a lovely lunch, I can definitely see why it's popular!

This pancake was bigger than my face, and was one of the best I've had in a long time. It was light and fluffy, and had a nice crisp to the top of it as well. Smothered in melted butter and syrup, every bite was so good. I also had some of their breakfast sausage, which was soooo good, and great to get a two bite in one with the pancake and sausage together!!! I also opted to get the chicken avocado club. The bread was toasted beautifully, there was lots of bread with the meal, so I ended up taking out the middle bread piece. The bacon was perfectly crispy, chicken grilled nicely, the only thing I wanted more of was avocado, didn't seem to be on 2 of my 4 slices. The fries were super hot, fresh, and crispy. Our service was really great, such a sweet woman that took care of us and also checked on us often. This was my first visit ever coming to one of these, and really enjoyed it and the amount of options available at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be returning!

Hostess pointed to an area and said to help myself to a table. It took her 10 mins to bring me a menu. 15 mins after that, my server sat at the counter then looked surprised that I was even here and took my order. It took 30 mins for pot roast and onion rings. Another server dropped off my meal 30+ mins ago and nobody has come back to check up on me. I wonder how long it will take to get the check. The food is pretty average (I am from NJ so I know what diner food should be like) The service might be the worst ever! I have had better service at Burger King. If you want to be left alone for long periods of time... this is your place to go!
