amazing food. strawberry horchata is the best i've ever had. interesting menu items. the vulcan was so good and perfect for two people, even three. service was fast and it's very open air/well-ventilated. love the lulu's branded seats. it is also open very late so a perfect option after a night out. will come back next time i'm in the city!

Love the place. Be willing to stand in line because there was always a line up when we walked by. However, they tried to get people flowing in and out. Service was amazing but on the night we were there no one knew any english. Nor was there any menus in English. So we just guessed at what to order. We had these amazing margaritas for drink. We ordered what we thought was an assorted meat tacos. It was MASSIVE and delicous and tasty. Loved the fresh avocado. Also, the assortement of sauces were fun to try. Definatley loved the green salsa the most. And there was a variety of heat, so you can find someone for everyone. We couldn't finish it the dish because it was so much food. My husband liked the chorizo the best, while I liked the beef. Really cute inside but small inside. Definately worth the visit.

Los tacos de tripa 10/10! Chicharron de queso también muy rico! Y el servicio es el mejor!

This little restaurant is so traditionally Mexican. This one in particular is very basic and it could probably could use a remodel. The food was good though. I ordered la gringa de pastor, and it was quie large. My wife ordered the large pastor sandwich and it was about equal in size as mine. When we came, there wasn't a really anybody seated inside. In fact it seemed as though they were preparing several orders for delivery. They had two tables situated outside on the sidewalk, but since no other customers were eating their meals here, we decided to carry out our food orders as well. The person who took our order was nice and everything about the ambiance of this restaurant seemed to be adequate. The gringa and torta were even better!

Food was amazing and reasonable! Well worth standing in the short line. My favorite part the variety of salsas to try.

The restaurant seating does give mall food court vibes, but that's ok i wasn't looking for anything fancy. All the wait staff and servers were very friendly and attentive at all times. Food does not take long at all to come out. Overall the food was disappointing. The only taco that was decent and had some flavor was the chicken taco(pechuga). Quite literally everything else was flavorless. The sauces on the side were the saving grace for every item of food I ordered. The ribeye taco was soaked in grease, which made eating it messy. The chuleta taco had no flavor and i would even say tasted bad. I do not recommend it. The food is definitely overpriced, especially considering the area and the amount of taco vendors that sell better tacos. Now what made this experience terrible was my waiter. I ask for the check and the total was $1139. I told him i was paying cash and i put down $1150 cash. He then taps at the receipt saying there's a mandatory tip and service fee. So he added on $100 to the bill right there on the spot. I analyze the receipt he handed to me and none of this is reflected on the receipt. I refused to argue so i put down the extra $100 and asked for the change. Tipping isn't mandatory especially for a table of 2. So i feel the waiter just made this up. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY and save some money. Theres better tasting food at way better prices in the area.

The patio was very inviting, so even though it was a bit chilly we sat outside. Our waiter was great, he was also busy, but we got our orders in and received in a reasonable amount of time. The cocktails were off the charts. Honestly can't remember what they were, we got two with Mayan honey and spices, and they were phenomenal. So fruity and spicy and served in an aesthetically pleasing way. One was the cocktail of the month, Aperol and mezcal, why not? Tasted like a, "fruity fireplace," according to our friend to which we wholeheartedly agreed. They gave us each an elote amuse bouche which was a tasty surprise and got us ready for more tastiness. Had a variety of tacos that we all enjoyed immensely. Cauliflower-both types were equally good. Birria queso was incredibly rich and just saturated with flavor-in the best way possible. Had esquites with blue corn and ham croquettes that we thoroughly enjoyed, especially the side salsas. Definitely had to do some negotiating when divvying them up since all of use could have eaten more. This place is not inexpensive, you will drop some money here, especially since you'll want to keep trying cocktails and tacos, but it's worth it. Name on the door was Maiz y Tinto, so that confused me for a bit.
