Avoid this clinic at all costs if you expect reliable medical care, accountability, or basic communication. I was a patient here for over two years, and their scheduling and administrative department is an absolute nightmare. I take a time-sensitive, monthly injection for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). For FOUR consecutive months, this clinic canceled my injection appointments on the exact day of the appointment, sometimes even as I was turning into the lot, WITH NO EXPLANATION! I commute all the way from the East Bay for these appointments. Multiple times, I have been turning into their parking lot after driving for an hour, only to be called and told my medication "wasn't ordered," "couldn't be found," or that they had to cancel. To make matters worse, they regularly alter appointment times in the patient portal after the fact and falsely mark patients as "no-shows" to cover up their own internal scheduling mistakes. When you try to advocate for yourself, the doctors question you like you've done something wrong. When you ask to speak to management, the supervisors consistently duck your calls, claim they are "in meetings," and completely ghost you. Leaving a patient without their time-sensitive medication and causing them to go into active medical withdrawal due to administrative incompetence is medical abandonment. If you are serious about your health, recovery, and sanity, do not trust this place. I have officially filed a formal quality-of-care grievance with my insurance provider and am transferring my care immediately. They do a massive disservice to the community they claim to support. read more

Very unprofessional I scheduled an appointment two weeks prior and they called me the day before to confirm my appointment , let me know what to bring and then the same day of my appointment canceled my without notifying me until I arrived definitely wouldn't recommend place is small has no air conditioning going through the waiting room and doesn't look very sanitary. Everything is so cramped together that you can hear everyone that comes in conversation . This is my first time coming here and also gonna be my last. So a rating from one out of 100. I was assigned to La Clinica of NV starting December 1st and when I called mid December to see how to get an appointment for myself because I was having issues with my asthma and needed refills for my meds, they told me I have to register first. So my phone appointment was taken care of for registering. I asked when can I see a doctor, they told they are booked and call back on January. Like wtf. I ended needing to go to ER by the holidays because I was wheezing and my 02 level was so bad and I am out of inhaler and no refill for other meds. Been sick since beginning of December and my lungs was just exhausted. So " so wait til January huh. The treatment I received from the ER was great but temporary. Still coughing and by January I called for an appointment and they told me that they are no longer taking new patients. Wtf! Why did you made wait on my condition. They even told me to call my insurance about it. Is that my responsibility? La Clinica could've let me know sooner. The worst clinic in the third world, providers who are not doctors, unethical, lack of knowledge and professionalism, they gave me a bad diagnosis and as a result my dorsal spine is worse, limited range of movement, with chronic pain that does not let me sleep, because The pain is too intense, the provider (she is not a Doctor) after she ordered me to do X Rays that the pain was terrible and she didn't care at all and she only said in the telephone appointment that I could do any type of work, I explained to her that the back pain was terrible but he didn't give it any importance, he didn't refer me to a spine specialist, Now I'm getting worse every day, but not only that, the last time I arrived I told her that my potassium was low, she didn't believe it and I ended up in the Emergency Room the next day, I had to constantly call to find out the results of the exams because they don't call to give results, they lost the exams, Do not go to a clinic where in my case it is not a Doctor who treated me for 6 months, I have proof because several times I was accompanied by another person due to the pain that did not allow me to drive the car. Very bad experience, I hope they take the correct measures to provide good health to patients in general and American citizens because health is the most important thing to continue having quality of life, being able to work, etc.,in my case they destroyed my quality of life by turning me to a provider who is not a doctor and does not have the knowledge to care for a patient with chronic spinal pain problems, now I have cervical and thoracic stenosis with chronic pain, added to that I had to keep calling for me They gave results of a mammogram because they couldn't find it and I have balls inside my breasts that hurt, they lost my heart tests. California is a disaster along with this clinic, I already changed new providers, thank God, from the first day the new doctor in Winters Heathcare saw my back problems and referred me to a good Spine Specialist. Now I understand why the map turned red in these elections, I am an American citizen and I was treated the worst. Give feedback because California is the biggest disaster that exists in terms of health, quality of life, etc.,they say they are so liberal and they are the most racist there is and the worst is with American citizens like me who are the ones who can vote for the changes. Before I was in Florida and Wisconsin, these last excellent states, Wisconsin the best, unfortunately I made the worst decision when I moved to California without knowing that here health does not have its due importance. The wait time for being seen is ridiculous! Appointment was at 330 and didn't get seen til AFTER 4, even after showing up 10 mins early. Than had to wait in the hot ass room for almost 20 mins. They have absolutely NO ac going at all. I was sweating while waiting for the doctor that's how hot it was until she took. Some of the nurses aren't very friendly but Dr. Robin on the other hand is very sweet. I would recommend this place pick up the pace but I high doubt that'll happen. read more

The staff is often nice and so are the doctors. I will suggest that you schedule your appointments in the afternoons and you'll be able to find parking around the clinic. They used to have check in staff in the waiting lounge but they have it next door now. Overall this isn't the top of the line place but gets the job done. read more

I came to urgent care around 3:30, got signed-in and moved to the building over to wait for my appointment. At this point everything is fine. But it took about 2 hours to get seated into a room to see the doctor and I continued to wait another hour to see the doctor. I don't know what it is about this place but they don't value your time. I don't recommend coming here, your urgent care won't be taken care of urgently. I didn't leave this clinic til around 7PM. I am disgusted with the management and the doctors use of time. read more

They had changed quite a bit here when it comes to waiting and I was surprised! Had to register at the first building on the left before you walk in the main La Clinica North! There's quite a handful of people here but was checked in a good waiting time amount. Staff were friendly. Sandra, the medical assistant is very nice, knows what she's doing. Practicioner Laura Shute, great addition to this clinic! She is full of energy, positivity, very cool. After all, patients they see here were all feeling down, so imagine if the one who would see you, would look so gloomy and lonely? Getting a TB test read: Wait 1 hour for a nurse to look at your arm for 15 seconds. I thought it was pretty sketchy how they didn't require appointments, turns out I was right. With poor organization, someone else coming in for the same thing easily jumped me in line. Furthermore, when I initially got the injection the nurse did not provide adequate information about the test. If I didn't do my own research on my phone then and there or inquire a different worker about what to do next (after she had me exit) I would not of even known to come in 48 hours later because she didn't tell me. read more

Yes, you may have to wait a little even if you have an appointment but the doctors here care and truly help you; so it's worth the wait. They are not just trying to see you to make another buck. They listen to what you say and they have your health intrest in mind first and foremost. All the staff are so kind and caring. I get nervous about doctors but I feel comfortable here. I see Dr. Ann Finklestein and she's amazing! Probably my favorite doctor ever, she really listens and cares. I've also accompanied a friend to see Sarah (I believe she's a nurse practitioner? Not sure) who's also really great. I highly recommend this clinic for English and/or Spanish speakers. They have grants and incentives to help pay for certain services. Really grateful for La Clínica NV. read more

This is probably one of the worst clinics I've been to in Vallejo Ca. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It took them several times to spell my name right even though I gave them my ID. I suffer from fibromyalgia, cervical myfasical pain syndrome, migraines and tmj. They do not prescribe the right prescriptions with my disease. All they want me to do is suffer. And I do a lot of holistic practices. Sometimes I just need to be able to take the edge off because I'm dealing a lot with just my face alone. They are very unhelpful and mentally mind draining because these doctors do not know how to treat CHRONIC PAIN so I have no choice but to suffer at points. Let me begin with the Pros. Pro: the people are friendly and helpful. They try to help you, even if it means sending you to a different place so you would save money. shots and blood work and stuff here tend to cost less than at Sutter next door. End. Do not come here unless you have time on your hands to kill. I came here for a shot and to pick up the results of my blood work. The shot took something like 2 hours, but it was my first time there so they might had have to to take time to update all my medical records. The lab result on the other hand was inexcusable. I needed to submit my results to schools, and they were time sensitive. I got the blood taken on Friday, they sent me to Quest next door, and they told me it would be done the following Monday. I called La Clinica Monday, they said it wasn't ready, and that the test may take up to a week. Ok, so I called again the next Friday, they told me it was not ready. So I called again the Monday after, nope its not ready. Called Wednesday, nope not ready. Fed up, I went in that Friday, 2 weeks after my blood drawing to talk to them about it. They said they needed to pull my med records, which took like an hour. How the heck can it take an hour to retrieve medical records?! aren't they already in the file?! Not only that, I asked them when the results came back. It said the results came back the Monday after they took my blood and the physician signed them off a week later (so earlier that week). read more

Still dealing with this terrible place, My PCP Sharon Leavitt is a lousy Dr. She won't even return my calls. Have asked 3 times now and she is supposed to return a call within 24hrs. The only thing the staff is good for is putting you on hold and being rude. I have complained to local agencies about Sharron and her staff. I hope others out there do the same. People that are in pain and frustrated already should not have to put up with what I now now a targeted bad service. I need a surgery done and have been given the run around for 7 months with testing that she adds as time goes on. She obviously is overwhelmed by her position. She asked for certain tests to be done then asks for more tests as month after month goes by. Why did she not schedule all test needed instead of dragging them out. I just moved to Vallejo the end of May 2012. I am disabled & have moderate to sever chronic pain issues along with other health issues. I went first to the clinic that's in the same building with health & human services (Office for disabled & elderly is on 3rd floor) 365 Tuolumne St. It was a horrible experience! I will write seperate review for them. Today, I received my Medi-Cal packet along with list of approved Primary Care Providers. I saw that La Clinica listed & that they accepted "walk-ins" on Saturdays 9-1. Well, I took a chance & I am so glad I did! I waited less than 20 minutes. Everyone working there treated me with kindness & respect. This is my primary care provider from now on. I highly recommend these compassionate and friendly professionals. read more

I arrived 30 minutes before the emergency clinic after I was told I couldn't get an appointment so first things first if your not Hispanic forget about coming to this clinic btw I'm not a racist at all I have mixed children.. anyway I was told to fill out the same paper work like I was a new patient at this clinic been in the past but recently wasn't feeling well both times I came and had to refill out paperwork that should've been in the system already they sure don't have a problem billing my insurance. Second same emergency clinic 4 people came in after me and was seen before me smh not professional at all I wasn't mad until a lady behind who came 30 minutes after me she spoke to the MA in Spanish and the MA walked straight to the back... Hold on it's more so my pain level was basically at a 20 I'm crying and everything another Hispanic couple comes in shortly after the MA walked the lady to the back maybe it was her family but ok we all need assistance after I've been waiting in the waiting area with my daughter for about 50 minutes they call the couple to the back... last but not least I was told to wait outside until the waiting area was clear but as I get called to the waiting area to wait to be called that's when three other families walked in and sat down the got called to the back moral of the story none of us had an appointment this was emergency clinic hour and this is how they treated me ... it's more about my visit but I'm sure you get the picture read more

I'll start with the good. The staff is pretty courteous, given how busy they are. When I had appointments, I was seen in a timely manner. And when I had problems, the staff and manager worked to fix them. However, they get one star because of the number of problems I've had. I went in for a school physical and brought forms with a list of lab tests to order. The clinician and MA conducted my physical exam, hearing, and eye tests, but declined to fill the forms out until the lab tests came back. Sounded reasonable. When I went to get my labs done at Quest, I noticed that one of my tests wasn't ordered. Over the course of a week and multiple phone calls each day, it got fixed. But it required that I spend 6 hours at Quest, looking through their books to find their CPT codes and translating between Quest and La Clinica to get the right lab ordered. And in the end, I entered into the computer myself. Bad form on the part of the Quest staff and La Clinica. Later when I went to get my results, I brought my forms with me for the clinician to fill in. Though this is something that normally takes a couple weeks turn-around, I explained that I had been instructed to bring them back to be filled-in and the staff took the forms back to the clinician. However, she did not fill in my lab results or hearing and eye test results. I ended up abstracting my own results after she'd signed the paper. Then, I found that another one of the lab tests was never ordered. So, I'm going to have to call again and get yet another blood draw. Honestly, while they're nice and have been accommodating regarding my short timeframe to get these tests done, I still come away feeling like I could have done a better job myself. Given that I had a paper with a list of the needed tests, they should have been ordered properly the first time. read more

I have used this clinic for almost three years. The standard of care is normal, neither better nor worse than other clinics I have used. Hours are reasonable, six days, open until 8 pm weekdays. If you have an emergency that is not life-threatening, they can see you same day without appointment, although you probably have to wait for an open slot. There's a full service pharmacy to fill prescription across the parking lot, with six days service (shorter hours on Saturdays, closed Sunday). The lab for tests is next door, and they run slow (best come early or near closing time 4:00 pm weekdays), closed weekends. Sutter hospital is also next door for Xrays or other tests using equipment the clinic does not have. It is true that you do have to have patience to be a patient, as the doctors and nurse practitioners are almost always running later than the appointment. This is one of the designated clinics for Solano County Health Plan and takes Medicare. read more

My cousin told me about La Clinica when I first moved to Vallejo 2 1/2 years ago. And to be honest with you the name "La Clinica" just sounded very low income to me. However I needed to get established with a doctor. When I was close to death, I decided to just stop in one morning. I was given an appointment for later in the day. I was surprised to say the least. And I was even more surprised at just how friendly everybody was. Which helped to take that fear away of being seen for the first time by a doctor. And the doctor I saw Dr. Popat, turned out to be an absolutely wonderful doctor, easy to talk to, with excellent bed side manner. Dr. Popat and La Clinica, are 2 of the best things here in Vallejo. I had to convince Dr Khan as to why I required blood work to determine if I was pregnant or not after explaining that I am high risk because I have endometriosis and to date have had no live births, all of which were ectopic. When I finally confronted her and asked if she was familiar with ectopic pregnancies she said no and walked out of the room leaving me to sit there without any further direction. Then I was advised at the front desk that if I were to have the lab work done I would receive a hefty bill since I did not have any insurance. I dont think it is up to anyone else to determine what is considered hefty to me after all it is my health/life we're talking about here. To make matters worse I had the lab work done well over a week ago now and still no one has called me back with the results. Very incompassionate, unknowledgeable, and inconsiderate. I will say this however there was one other girl at the front desk who sympathized with me, went over all of my payment options and price break down with me, and was very thorough. Dr. Hakeem continues to provide incredible service, kind, professional bedside manner and very knowledgeable and compassionate care. In addition, the referral staff, in particular Josefina, has gone out of her way to help me locate an Osteopathic Doctor in the area...this is no easy task but she has knocked on every door, called every possible location, and has really impressed me with her dedication to help find relief for me! I've been an CVICU/ED RN for 20 yrs all across this country and I've seen quite many patient-doctor interactions. I needed a z-pack for a chest infection and WOW!!!...was treated with contempt and disdain by Dr Pryor. She Treated me as if I knew nothing about healthcare. I've seen narcotics drug-seekers get treated better than she treated me. I just needed an antibiotic and was willing to pay for my visit...unlike most of the other people who frequent these clinics. DO NOT GO HERE! Walk right next door and be seen in the ER at Sutter Solano ED. There's alot of great people there and they will take care of you. This doctor has a horrible bedside manner. Ugh!! Very unhappy with this place. Had two different doctors diagnose me with two different fatal heart diseases.. Come to find out I had a simple infection that just elevated due to not being treated with an antibiotic. It took a trip to the ER after 2 months for this to be determined..If you are using the urgent care night slots don't bother to make an appt. You will still be sitting there at 9 pm longer than the drop in patients.. The nurses are incompetent and very very rude at times! You get herded in like cattle...If it's your first visit, chances are they won't tell you, it's an intake visit where they're only taking notes, so you may not receive the treatment (meds) you are looking for if you are in pain! Once you come back and are able to see an assigned physician The doctor may leave the room & move onto the next patient without clarifying that He is finished with you so if you have any additional questions, you can leave them with the assistant... Your diagnosis is a coin toss, that is IF u get a diagnosis! If you call in and leave a message for a doctor, no one will call you back! You will need to follow up with another call in! If you have an appointment with a Specialist, go in to see said Specialist, and this person in turn leaves a message for the current physician because yours is out and you are in need of a prescription that the Specialist can not prescribe...NO ONE WILL RETURN YOUR CALL!!...not even a week later!!! Everyone here is nice and friendly enough, however, A Coke & A smile and grown ups "Playing Doctor" will not cure what ails me!!! read more

I started my care here in 2014. My doctor is amazing, thank the heavens. The nurses are always very very nice. As rude as some people can be to them, they keep a firm but professional tone of voice.There is usually a movie playing for the kids and plenty of things to read while you wait. The lab place is just two buildings down and it was just renovated. They need more staff at the lab but the new place is pretty. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because of my experience with Great Beginnings 2015. My orientation consisted of questions regarding my financial status & absolutely no questions about my health record. Twice I miscarried & needed rhogam. My doctor said GB would take care of me no problem. Well, they denied my (very urgent) need, twice, because I didn't last enough to start a chart so I was forced to go to ER. (My doc said he would have an urgent meeting to fix this.) For one of my losses, a sweet lady called to offer a counseling appointment & kind words. When I called to make an appointment for said counseling, they denied me, again, because of my lack of an "official chart". We all know 25% pregnancies end in miscarriages; however their lack of timely appointments don't even allow charts to start to receive any care. I am now in GB again this year & had to wait weeks for my orientation which was found to be ludicrous by the doctor & I was promised this would addressed. I can already tell there has been huge changes that make the clinic welcoming and personal for all moms. Both clinics are in desperate need of funding to update their tools and technology which would speed things along tremendously so this is not their fault. read more

I am writing on behalf of the pregnancy clinic. I have never felt the need to yelp any business until i contacted and visited this place. Their lack of empathy and customer service. The girls at the front desk are not very personable. They are quick to jump to conclusions and do not listen to the needs of the clients. They have you meet with a ton of people, which have nothing to do with prenatal care. They have a specific goal in mind and only want to catch you doing something wrong instead of providing optimal care for the woman and child. The woman should be in control along with the doctor, of making any and all decisions pertaining to her own pregnancy. I guess they think that since this is a government funded program, they feel as though she has no rights. I am standing up for women's rights!!!!!!!!! I think more women should come stand up and speak out against those who try to demolish the rights of the less fortunate. read more
