Finally went to see the Dr. He trying to show off for his assistant by acting all smart and knows everything. Didn't look at half my complaints, earache backpain. Instead completely misdiagnosed me and sent me to the ER for $2700 bill! Even ER Dr. Asked why I was there, had no symptoms of what Choua was talking about. Simple diagnosis by him that Choua should have easily caught. Even afterwards the lady at the desk couldn't communicate well with me, not returning calls, rude at one point. The Dr. Is a nice guy but nice don't always get it done. My earache ended up infection and my back has blown out discs. He ignored all of it. This is why I don't trust Dr. And the healthcare system is broken. Don't bother with this place. It costs more than it worth in the long run.

She never responded to my requests for information and STAT diagnostic tests needed. I had to go to her office and get another doctor to elevate a standard biopsy order to a STAT so I didn't have to wait for 1 month for the test. Once I received the test results of a positive for cancer, she spent less than 3 minutes on the phone with me, giving no real information except that I had breast cancer. When after my initiatives and calls to get appointments at a different Sutter facility I spoke with my nurse navigator, she was SHOCKED that I didn't know what type of cancer I had (which Carmen had in front of her), and at least some sort of overview of what treatments would be. She was uncaring, unconcerned, and totally not empathetic about telling me my life had just changed forever. She did nothing. I have since moved to a wonderful primary doctor in Davis -- who listens, cares, and works with me in a timely manner to solve my health issues. If you want a doctor just for small issues, Carmen may be ok. But if that escalates into anything more serious issue, please, don't rely on this doctor. She is terrible.

I take a time-sensitive, monthly injection for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). For FOUR consecutive months, this clinic canceled my injection appointments on the exact day of the appointment, sometimes even as I was turning into the lot, WITH NO EXPLANATION! I commute all the way from the East Bay for these appointments. Multiple times, I have been turning into their parking lot after driving for an hour, only to be called and told my medication "wasn't ordered," "couldn't be found," or that they had to cancel. To make matters worse, they regularly alter appointment times in the patient portal after the fact and falsely mark patients as "no-shows" to cover up their own internal scheduling mistakes. When you try to advocate for yourself, the doctors question you like you've done something wrong. When you ask to speak to management, the supervisors consistently duck your calls, claim they are "in meetings," and completely ghost you. Leaving a patient without their time-sensitive medication and causing them to go into active medical withdrawal due to administrative incompetence is medical abandonment. If you are serious about your health, recovery, and sanity, do not trust this place. I have officially filed a formal quality-of-care grievance with my insurance provider and am transferring my care immediately. They do a massive disservice to the community they claim to support.

If an appt for Dr. Hennessey is not available, there are several other doctors and a few nurse practitioners, in the practice that you can schedule an appointment and not have to wait weeks.
