    Asada & fish taco
    Jade C.

To my CA natives try this place out! I got an asada taco, and a fish taco. Both tacos were very tasty. The fish taco is a bit pricier, but is well worth it. They aren't stingy with the fish. I can't put my finger on what kind of fish they're using. It's no Cholita Linda (Oakland), but it gets the job done. I wasn't a huge fan of the slaw, because the flavor was very mild. No dry limes here! Thank goodness lol. Everything seemed fresh. When I went there was no line. The service was just fine, and the atmosphere was very clean. Seating is kind of limited, plenty of parking offered. Do not sleep on this place, definitely will be returning.

Before venturing to the Renaissance Festival down the street, our group stopped by here for a quick lunch on a whim. It's a quick counter order place in a gas station strip, but the tacos were authentic and everything was tasty. Tacos come on small corn tortillas and they offer a four taco plate or you can get a two taco combo with rice and beans. The beans were white beans versus the typical red or black, but they were super tasty. Tacos are simple with your choice of protein, and topped with salsa, onions, and cilantro. Simple, but very effective. They offer a few burrito sizes but the equivalent of a medium was huge!! Super loaded and could easily have been shared by two people. Their loaded nachos were also loaded with heaps of avocado, jalapeños, and other fresh toppings. I also appreciate their efforts to minimize their plastic use by using paper straws, however, they still had individually wrapped plastic utensils, disposable plates, and foam cups. Hopefully they take a few more steps and start using reusable plates, paper cups, and at least plastic utensils not wrapped in more plastic.

This is one of the times that's rare that I thought Yelp gave more praise. Checked out La Costa Tacos & Mariscos. It was ok. I really love mexican food. I thought this place was average. The tacos and burritos that I ordered had a bland taste to it. no Flavor to it. I may have to try again because i want to trust the other yelp reviewers. I'm simply not seeing it for what it is. Good people but maybe the wrong chef that day or something. Grade: C

Man, I really wanted this place to be good. I was so excited to see that there was an authentic Mexican restaurant near my job. I tried to go on a Monday and failed to realize that they were closed. I returned on a Wednesday full of excitement to try the tacos. I saw the prices online and loved how affordable the tacos were. The inside of the establishment is super nice and clean. When you enter, you walk up to the counter to order and they'll call out your ticket number for you to pick up. I ordered two asada tacos and one al pastor taco to-go. The food didn't take long to be prepared, so I was in and out in fifteen minutes. When I got back to my job, the tacos were still warm. The tacos, however, seemed to lack flavor. They were just very lackluster; even with the salsa on top. I was truly disappointed. I am planning to return, however, since people have raved about this place. I just hope the food will be better the next time around.

First time at this place, the workers were phenomenal considering it was so close to closing time I was still welcomed with great customer service!! The tacos were great!!

I really wanted to love this place since I'm a taco fanatic but LA Costa Tacos y Maricos missed the mark for me. I ordered a couple of the carne asada, pollo, y pescado tacos (steak, chicken, and fish). Unfortunately all of them were tasteless...every single one. They were traditionally prepared in a soft corn tortilla and topped with onion and cilantro. Pickled carrots and radishes were included also. Salsa and lime wedges were served on the side and were the only thing that gave the tacos any hint of flavor. I gave them an extra 2 stars because the tacos were piled high with meat and toppings and the customer service here was great. The restaurant serves tacos, quesadillas, burritos, tostadas, tortas, nachos, and menudo on the weekends. For any entree you have the choice of 7 different meats including al pastor (pork), pollo (chicken), lengua (beef tongue), cabeza (beef head), asada (steak), pescado (fish), and camaron (shrimp). They also have a secret menu online. At this time they're open from 10:30am until 7pm, offering both dine in (with social distancing) and carryout.

Steak tacos were pretty good. I like the sweet sauce that comes with it; not really sure if it's salsa but whatever it is, it's good. Cool little place to order take out.

Carne asada and chicken tacos. $1.50

Good little neighborhood Mexican spot. The tacos remind me of the authentic tacos of Cali. I came for the first time and had the chicken and carne asada regular tacos. One of the reviews said that the chicken has a cinnamon taste to it and I was confused about this but it actually does work lol. Definitely a unique flavor that I've never had before. As far as the carne asada taco...it's not like the carne asada I'm used to in Cali. It lacked flavor and the meat wasn't as tender as it should be. But I added some salt and some of the green sauce they give you and it was decent. I will definitely be back for the tacos. You can't beat $1.50 for a taco (even though they are small). If you live close by it is a good and cheap food option. I just wish they had more non pork options. They have a couple other beef options but I'm not sure how I feel about cow head and cow tongue, I'll definitely pass on those two.

I found this place via my college friend who posted a picture of tacos from there in their Instagram and right away I knew it was the authentic Mexican food I've been looking for. It's super affordable to. I ended up getting 8 tacos (2-carnitas, 2- asada, 2-fish, 2-chicken) and rice and beans and it cost me $24. Best $24 I've spent in a long time! The fish tacos were stuffed with fresh lightly battered fish and the sauce on them was amazing. Adding the squeeze of the added lime sent it over the top. It was legit a flavor explosion. You also can tell this place must be legit the moment you pull up because there's a constant line. It's so delicious and I will be a regular customer. To date, I have yet to find something this authentic in Atlanta and I've lived here since 2009.

Steak taco and al pastor tacos. Both were so good. $2 per taco is a great deal!

Found this little spot in Fairburn. I work in union city so it was a close 10 minute drive. I got the tacos and they were so good. Will definitely come back

They're fast and efficient, the salsa's fresh the chips are crisp. They're accommodating to changes that you would like.... Like I substituted beans for rice and a chicken Verde enchilada for a regular chicken enchilada on my combo plate. The chicken quesadillas are huge. And be aware that the fajita carnitas is not cut up. I can't wait to go back and try the Heurvos Rancheros for breakfast. I'm not a big fan of refried beans, but theirs were delish and my memory of the best Heurvos Rancheros I ever had was on top of delicious refried beans that were fresh.

It took awhile to figure out what we wanted, but we were given fresh chips and salsa right away to curb some hunger while we decided. Any Mexican place that gives complimentary chips and salsa gets extra points in my book. Our server was on top of checking on us and she was super nice. As you can see from our picture, we got a decent spread. I saw complaints on here prior about meat costing extra, well, in my case, it made sense. I wanted all the yummy that came with the veggie burrito, but also wanted meat. For the amount of meat in my burrito, I think the extra charge was a little much, but it was delicious, so I'm not complaining. The amount of meat on the Texas nachos my husband ordered could have used more meat though. The chips to meat to cheese to topping ratio was off, but we made it work. It was a nice place to celebrate our anniversary week and when we are in the area again, we will probably stop by. There were other options we have yet to try.

I stumbled upon Don Nachos during my Yelp scroll and decided to give it a try. Pulling up to Don Nachos I realized I have driven past it numerous times and never realized it was there. As it sits next to the BP Gas station, it was easy to access from the main road. Upon walking in, the area is very vibrant and colorful. The bartender welcomed us in and as we were eating in he advised we could sit anywhere we wanted. Heading to the back booth, the location is very clean and you could smell the good seasonings as you passed the bar to head towards the back. Oh yeah! After taking a seat, our waiter arrived and provided us with menus and took our drink order. As I flipped through the menu, I was excited to see the variety of options and the cost effective pricing. The menu was very fairly priced for the area and fit within the scope of finding a good meal for under $20. As our drinks arrived at the table, we were also provided with tortilla chips and salsa. The chips were warm, fresh, and very flavorful. The salsa was mild and a bit bland on the flavor profile, however, the robust flavor profile of the chip enhanced the salsa. I decided to get the Birria Tacos which come in a set of 3 with the consome as a soup... once the order was placed, the menus were taken and it was back to the chips and salsa. The food arrived and my hunger immediately went into overdrive. You could smell the freshness coming off the plate. The tacos were meaty and the shell was perfectly done. Oh yes. This is what I wanted!! Taking the first bite made me close my eyes and begin to chew slowly. The shell was crunchy on the outside which went perfect with the super tender, well seasoned, beef. The beef had a pot roast flavoring to it which made the bites even more enjoyable for me. The meat was so tender that I barely had to chew as it was literally melting in my mouth. I'm talking tender, juicy, flavor screaming beef with no fat. Whew! I'm in love!!! Don Nachos was a great choice for lunch. The service was good. The food was amazing. The ambiance was super casual and the parking was easy. It's an all around win. Best of all, lunch for two (with one margarita) was under $50.
