Great little hidden gem. Large menu selection to choose from. Zaira was our server at the bar. Fast and friendly service. The food is always hot and fresh

From the drinks to the service, everything was quick and delicious! Very fulfilling. My boyfriend said that he'd definitely comeback because enjoyed it so much. You pay for reasonable portions. Loved it!

This is right next door to a gas station so it seems sketchy but the inside is nice and clean. Don't let the location of this hidden gem fool you. The sign outside doesn't say The Golden Bite since it is in Spanish. The service is also great! It gives you a Mexican restaurant vibe but they serve tons of seafood dishes as well. The fish tacos were good and fresh. The tuna/crab dip that they bring out wasn't too bad as well. The Cuban sandwich was HUGE. We weren't expecting the sliced hot dog and eggs in it but it was tasty overall. The margaritas were great. You can order them frozen or on the rocks. The Blue Bay tastes similar to a piña colada on the rocks but was made just right. It had just enough kick but not too much. Each drink is served in a large glass so you definitely get your money's worth for the drinks as well as the food. Next time I'll be ordering a seafood dish since there were soooo many choices for all tastebuds.

    Cuban Torta with rice

Decided to try this spot after searching Yelp for restaurants. When I arrived, I was kinda skeptical because it's connected to a plaza right next to a gas station with very limited parking, but once inside, you wouldn't notice. They have a lot of seafood on the menu, which is different for a Mexican restaurant. They also don't give chips and salsa but instead offer a mixture of tuna and imitation crab meat with crackers, which was surprisingly good. Although I was at a Mexican restaurant, I decided to order the Cuban Torta. From what I could tell, it had chorizo, egg, cheese, and a hot dog on it. It was very good and flavorful. I got a side of rice instead of fries. The rice could have used a bit more seasoning. The sandwich came with a habanero sauce, which I tasted and passed on--too spicy for me! Overall, it's a nice spot with good food, and they add a gratuity on orders over a certain amount.

I ordered on ubereats so I cannot speak to the ambiance of the place. What I can say is that the food arrived to me so delicious and fresh. The quesabirria is delicious and the consommé actually has flavor! They come with the traditional green and red salsa. The tomatillo salsa is so good, because time I'll order an extra side. It comes with a side of rice as well, a good portion that wasn't over cooked. I'm writing this review because I just placed a second order. LOL

The food was delicious! We were a family of 5 and we were all able to find something to eat, they do have fries for those annoying picky eaters. The ambience is great and the service was awesome. I appreciated that they brought food out as it was ready as opposed waiting and some of us getting cold food. We would definitely dine here again if we are in the area.

    Paracetamol cocktail

Fabulous meal after a long day at the Georgia Renaissance Festival--the portions are gigantic, everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was great. My friend loved the birria ramen, which is pictured on the menu but not listed. The rest of our party got the ceviche tower, tacos al pastor, birria tacos, and a chicken quesadilla. My husband enjoyed the paracetamol cocktail (I loved it, if you like tajín and fruit give it a try). I got the reina pepiada arepa (chicken and avocado) as a starter, and honestly that could've been my meal. My entree was the pollo riviera maya, and it was stellar; the shrimp were perfectly cooked and it had lots of mango. The carrot slices were a really nice addition. If you are a fan of fruity sweet sauce on chicken you'll love it; if you want more savory on savory, choose another of the many good options. We will definitely be back!

The best Hispanic meal i ever had! Will most definitely go back. It was so much that i brought half this plate home. I refuse to big my back.

I lived in the north Dallas area for 39 years and have visited the gambit of outstanding Mexican restaurants before moving to Florida and experiencing the epitome of mediocre or just plain bad. We come to Fairburn once a year at most for the Florida Renaissance Festival. This is our go-to restaurant for dinner from the day we arrive until our final evening here. I haven't had a single menu item that I've been disappointed with to-date. I've had fajitas, enchiladas, and authentic Mexican. The music on weekend evenings is loud. You need to arrive early or be prepared to wait for a table. Seating is perhaps a bit limited for how many people I've seen waiting for their seats. The 22 oz margaritas hit the spot after an 8-hour drive and check-in to the hotel next door. I can recommend the tableside guacamole for starters and the chicken poblano as a meal if you love authentic Mexican food.

Our server, Joey, really stood out. He took the time to educate us on the drinks, had a great personality, and made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. We even got into some good conversation--he mentioned he's originally from Oklahoma--which added a nice personal touch. The drinks were phenomenal. They were strong, well-balanced, and refreshing. I had the horchata, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. I also tried a classic margarita with tajín on the rim--it was strong in a good way and very refreshing. Definitely one of the highlights of the visit. The food itself was flavorful and well-seasoned. I ordered the steak and lobster with mashed potatoes. Everything tasted great, and you can tell they put care into the preparation. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is due to a couple of issues. I asked for my steak medium, but it came out well done, and there was a hair in my mashed potatoes. That said, the way the staff handled it really impressed me. They were extremely apologetic and quickly replaced my entire meal without hesitation. The second steak actually came out even better than the first. Mistakes happen, and what really matters is how a restaurant responds--and they handled it very well. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely come back.

LoL!! La Costa Tacos y Mariscos sits in the strip mall behind the BP. The location is in the back corner so make sure you're on the lookout for it as it's possible to pass it by accident... I walked in taking in the authentic cultural ambiance. The location is small, however, they made great use of the space. There are a few High Top 2 seaters towards the front and some booth style seating towards the back. As I explored the menu I was pleased to see the variety of options. There is something for any food needing mood. I decided on the #1 which is 2 Tacos with Rice and Beans. Please note, the beans are Refried Beans and not the usual Black beans I'm accustomed to being served as a side. I chose to go with the Steak Tacos and I am pleased with my decision. To note, the tacos only come with the corn shell. The steak was perfectly done and well seasoned. The tacos are meaty and very filling. The tacos alone get a 7/10 from me. They really carried the combo for me... The rice was rice. Nothing special about it, minimal seasoning but goes well mixed with the beans or added to the taco. The rice by itself gets a 3/10 from me. The refried beans were standard and used as an additive to my rice and filler to my tacos. LoL!! The salsa provided was mild and fresh. It had the authentic salsa flavoring and went great with everything on my plate. The service was pleasant and friendly, and the establishment was super clean. Overall, I would recommend La Costa Tacos y Mariscos if you are in the mood for Mexican and want it quick. I would use this as a lunch pick up option when in the area.

It took awhile to figure out what we wanted, but we were given fresh chips and salsa right away to curb some hunger while we decided. Any Mexican place that gives complimentary chips and salsa gets extra points in my book. Our server was on top of checking on us and she was super nice. As you can see from our picture, we got a decent spread. I saw complaints on here prior about meat costing extra, well, in my case, it made sense. I wanted all the yummy that came with the veggie burrito, but also wanted meat. For the amount of meat in my burrito, I think the extra charge was a little much, but it was delicious, so I'm not complaining. The amount of meat on the Texas nachos my husband ordered could have used more meat though. The chips to meat to cheese to topping ratio was off, but we made it work. I stumbled upon Don Nachos during my Yelp scroll and decided to give it a try. Pulling up to Don Nachos I realized I have driven past it numerous times and never realized it was there. As it sits next to the BP Gas station, it was easy to access from the main road. Upon walking in, the area is very vibrant and colorful. The bartender welcomed us in and as we were eating in he advised we could sit anywhere we wanted. Heading to the back booth, the location is very clean and you could smell the good seasonings as you passed the bar to head towards the back. Oh yeah! After taking a seat, our waiter arrived and provided us with menus and took our drink order. As I flipped through the menu, I was excited to see the variety of options and the cost effective pricing. The menu was very fairly priced for the area and fit within the scope of finding a good meal for under $20. As our drinks arrived at the table, we were also provided with tortilla chips and salsa. The chips were warm, fresh, and very flavorful. The salsa was mild and a bit bland on the flavor profile, however, the robust flavor profile of the chip enhanced the salsa. I decided to get the Birria Tacos which come in a set of 3 with the consome as a soup... once the order was placed, the menus were taken and it was back to the chips and salsa. The food arrived and my hunger immediately went into overdrive. You could smell the freshness coming off the plate. The tacos were meaty and the shell was perfectly done. Oh yes. This is what I wanted!! Taking the first bite made me close my eyes and begin to chew slowly. The shell was crunchy on the outside which went perfect with the super tender, well seasoned, beef. The beef had a pot roast flavoring to it which made the bites even more enjoyable for me. The meat was so tender that I barely had to chew as it was literally melting in my mouth. I'm talking tender, juicy, flavor screaming beef with no fat. Whew! I'm in love!!! Don Nachos was a great choice for lunch. The service was good. The food was amazing. The ambiance was super casual and the parking was easy. It's an all around win. Best of all, lunch for two (with one margarita) was under $50.
