My husband had the breaded pork chop with local rice, and Israeli salad which was cucumbers and tomatoes. The chop had a sweet onion sauce on it that he didn't care for, but everything else was good. We also had desserts - ginger flan and guava cheesecake - both were excellent, and I would visit again just for dessert! Our server was excellent - attentive, friendly, efficient, and when we provided feedback on the meal, she was gracious and let us know in the future we can ask for different sauces to suit our preferences. We easily found parking in the lot just in front of the restaurant, and even though the restaurant was busy upon arrival, we were offered seats at the bar while we waited, and within 5 min we had a table. This is not your every corner "chinchorro", so, don't get discouraged by the surrounding bars and experience all this great jewel has to offer. Everything on the brief menu is very fresh and delicious. The owners, Frances and Jesus, treat you like family and go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience every time. The ambiance is relaxing, friendly and very welcoming. Every Saturday evening they have a guest group that plays great traditional tropical latin music with a jazzy touch, not to be missed.
