I am very happy with my blinds and they are easy to charge. After 3 years I had an issue with the blinds in one room only opening slightly, and a remote issue with the main room, and they were able to provide service within days to fix the issues. I did receive the wrong blinds for my guest room but after checking with my designer it must have been a mix up in numbers when ordering so just make sure you have the right codes for the style you want. I ended up with plain white blinds instead of textured white blinds so it wasn't too much of an issue for me to reinstall, however I do recommend the textures styles because the wrinkles show on the plain. read more

I contacted this business in November 2025 to replace the blinds for four windows. A lady came over to my house and to my surprise, she decided to park her vehicle on the street then to park it on my driveway. Every time I asked her for a specific type of blinds, she responded, "Oh, I'll go over to my car and bring more samples!" This happened like three times. She also gave me the impression that she did not sound confident when she talked about the different types of blinds that they offered. When my mother finally decided the type of blinds she wanted, she wrote the information on a sheet of paper. During this lady's visit, I called my sister to ask her the type of blinds she had installed at her place and she told me "zebra". I think when this lady heard me say "zebra", she made the assumption that was the type my mother wanted. When the installer arrived with the "zebra" blinds and had them installed on four windows, my mother was very livid. She said that they were ugly and fabricated with cheap material. The order came out to $2,488.00 USD. In my honest opinion, these pieces of crap are ridiculously overpriced. As my mother said, the zebra blinds are extremely thin that they look like the wings of flies. I don't think these blinds will last more than two years. If the rays of the sun aim directly on your windows, I recommend you stay away from these crappy blinds. Also, I do not recommend L.A. Custom Blinds. They did not make the effort to offer me some kind of satisfaction for this inconvenience I went through. I paid off the balance and decided I will contact a much better and professional company who can satisfy my needs than this company. Never again! read more

My experience with LA Custom Blinds has been deeply disappointing. I signed a written contract for custom drapery, paid a deposit, and expected the job to be completed as agreed. Instead, without warning, the company abruptly cancelled my project via text message, citing "extreme circumstances." On a call with a company representative I was told the order was "out of spec." I asked for an explanation of what that meant and was told, "I just told you." On the order there is a note that states "This order is cancelled per Barry, due to extreame (sic) expectations of the client." My only expectation was that the drapery would be made and installed. I did not communicate anything with regard to expectations. The combination of sudden cancellation, poor communication, and disregard for contractual obligations raises serious concerns about their reliability and professionalism. While a refund is pending, the trust and confidence I once had in this company are gone. I had my first experience with LA Custom Blinds nearly 5 years ago when I was ordering 2 remote controlled blackout shades for my bedroom. Fariba came and did measurements, and i felt taken care of and heard. The shades that came were *perfect* and exactly what I was hoping for. The installation was professional and they have held up beautifully over the years (i raise and lower them daily). I was so pleased with the work LA Custom Blinds did on my bedroom windows that I ordered a very large custom blackout shade for my office. Because of the location of the window I didn't want to have to climb over my desk to charge the motor, so I splurged for the solar recharging panel. And i'm glad I did. This double length blackout shade has never given me any issues and I also raise and lower this one multiple times throughout the day depending on the position of the sun. Wow... just amazing. I had some doubt in the beginning but boy was I wrong. Got pricing from few other places and they were ridiculously high. Then called LA custom blinds and Fariba ended up being my consultant. We set up an appointment to get the measurements and to go over pricing for . She was fantastic. She worked around my schedule to find a day and time that worked for us. She was on time on the day of which is a big plus for me. Fariba khanom started the measurements and then followed by giving us the samples. She was very patient and helped us find the perfect match as far as material and color for our motorized blinds. Then gave us the pricing which was way better than any other place ( 60% less). She said it can take a week or two to get a call when the order was ready. I got an email 5 days later that order was ready and my blind were installed a week after that. They did an amazing job installing it and were very professional and explained how it works. We used LA Custom Blinds a few years ago and had the worst experience ever. This is the email I had sent back then telling them what had happened: "When we arrived to our home this weekend, we found that someone had written "F*** You" twice onto one of our countertops. Please see picture at bottom. It was not there before this week since we had cleaned the floors and countertops last weekend. The only people who had come (other than us and our relatives) were the two installers that your company had sent. Our relative did say that the installer on Friday was very condescending and disrespectful, asking her along the lines of: "why do you keep watching me" and "you really like to keep watching me huh?" This was the same installer who was an hour and a half late without giving a heads up and who was unapologetic when I had given him a call on Friday to see where he was." When they called me back, they had the audicity to pass the blame on someone else when no one else was in our home beisides us and our family members.
