I ordered the blinds and they only made nine of which four were the wrong size. They installed half of them not centered on the window. I think I had six service calls and seven or eight remakes. Had a great over all experience with LA Custom Blinds! My wife and I have a condo that really only needs 4 windows done and with one of them being 12 inches wide and almost 4 feet tall, we knew we needed something custom. We had seem my mother's house had what we wanted "zebra" shades. We called up and they sent over Greg. He was great and had lots of samples for us to look at and go over. We picked out everything and had them installed about 2 weeks later. Install was quick and we paid the extra fee to have them haul away our old 80's blinds. Palm Desert Branch When does a promise turn into a lie? Whe you order 3 blinds and a valance in December for installation February 18th and you are told "piece of cake, no problem, that will be easy."  Was it a lie when the 18th comes and you get 3 blinds (one 4 inches short) and no valance so then you are promised a replacement blind and a valance by the 25th knowing you are leaving town on the 28th. So when the 25th arrives and they say the following week even though they know I won't be home. Was it another Lie?  Linda at LA Custom Blinds said blinds are possible in 3 days and I gave her 60 days and she still can't complete the job.  Over $4,000 for 3 blinds and a valance so I didn't go the cheap route. Can I recommend  to you LA Custom Blinds? About as much as I would recommend a rusted Chevy Vega for your daughters first car. Do you really want to do business with company that doesn't meet a single one of their promises except "we want 50% down to start" Do yourself a favor and just stay away from LA Custom Blinds. read more

So they ended up reaching out after this review and came out to repair some of the shutters, however after this was done I noticed that the rails for the shutters were peeling. Seemed as if they had just been painted black and were originally white so now it's black and white which does not look good at all. I reached back out to them to let them know about this on 08/02/25 and to this date I haven't heard back from anybody. Seems as if they only reached out to try to get me to remove the review. All right, so after about six months. I lost the warranty and I had to pay for the repairs. Warranty that they said they would send somebody to fix the Blinds, which never happened. But we got to the point of it. Somebody Body didn't show up, and it got fixed. Could've been way way. Better if it would've happened way sooner because this is a restaurant and it's not OK for a Restaurant to have none working in Blinds.
