We decided to just do a dermaplane which was basically free, lol because I'm on their VIP plan which is a decision that took me a while to make but skincare, especially after 30 years of age is a must as well as an investment. Our face and smile is the first thing people notice so it only made sense for me to join the 2nd plan. Which I absolutely LUUUUUUV! Everyone, including Bailey helps to make sure you are getting the best plan for you and your budget. Personally, I would much rather sacrifice new clothing as well as manicures and pedicures to take care of my skin. My goal is to no longer need to wear any makeup. Bailey has been right there beside me the whole way and I don't think she realizes how important it is for me to see her on a monthly basis. I always feel so much better when I leave Touch MedSpa. She brought out color swatches and talked through some different options. There's a cute waiting area in a quiet space in the back while your color sets as well. Perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee. They have heated towels for your neck/head during your shampoo as well. Hayley was so sweet and answered any questions I had without ever being sales person-y or pushy (when should I get my color touched up? Should I do more or less product with my hair having such a fine texture? Etc. ) I'm so happy with how it turned out. I wanted a rich brunette with fall highlights you could see but not Kelly Clarkson chunky. So happy and I've already booked my follow up.

I searched yelp, google then Facebook (being new to the area) and Tammy's name popped up quite a bit. I called and we set the appointment. Tammy is very kind and wants you to get the most out of your treatment so she reviews your needs prior to your massage then during to ensure you're happy. I have myalgia so not all days are the same but Tammy works with me and I appreciate her very much. As I was leaving she helped me schedule my hair color appointment with Angela the following week. I brought her a photo and I absolutely love the color. She was spot on! We didn't cut yet I go Monday. I'll try to remember to do a follow up. I know I won't be dissatisfied though. The shop is in a mini strip mall but not a chain!!! The decor is so welcoming and beautiful. Beverages are available as well. (But not offered. You must ask-communication is a bit of an issue here. I checked in and sat 20 minutes because my stylist claimed she didn't see me walk in behind her) *******UPDATE******* still LOVE Tammy for massages! Still recommend her highly. It was a a very tough decision - I've moved on to another salon. My original visit was for TAMMY and she recommended upon my request a stylist. My hair is very think and coarse and I needed someone that didn't upcharge me after quoting me on 2 separate occasions. I wasn't in love with my hair as I kept telling myself it is growing out. I do love my new salon but seeking a new massage therapist. (Also, the fact that it's been at least two months and no one has called to see why I left left a bad taste as well!)

I went in as a walk-in and was met by the friendliest, coolest staff and the vibe was immaculate. Jake had availability for my tattoo, and he was incredible from start to finish. I couldn't find exact reference photos for the tattoo I had in mind, so I came in with a collection of tattoos saved on my phone that highlighted different concepts, line work, and details I liked. Jake genuinely seemed excited about the idea and took the time to go through every detail with me as we talked through how to bring the piece to life. He then drew up a design that captured exactly what I had envisioned. Once the stencil was ready, he was just as meticulous about placement as he was about the design itself. First let me say this place is newly opened, beautifully designed with modern decor. Had I just walked in off the street I would be very impressed. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I scheduled my appointment with a tech that did my nails, in the past, at another salon closer to me (calabash). I was happy when I found her and willing to drive that day because I needed to be at the airport later. A bit earlier than my appointment I received a phone call than my girl was going home sick and given the option to reschedule or accept another tech. Since I was way past due and not coming back to the area for a while, I accepted another tech. Julie was very nice, did a good job but there were several things that could have been better for me. First she just cut my nails down without asking if I wanted to shorten them, they are shorter than I wear them usually. Then as she was removing my current gel polish I pointed out how I like my French manicures, then later when polishing she said she did not notice... I'm very specific in my style, a bit different that most. In the end, I walked out with an OK French, but not my style. If I were closer I would return, hopefully get my original girl or work with Julie to get what I want, but it wasn't worth the drive for me. I would still recommend this salon, everyone in there seemed happy and talkative.
