I had no reason to change my way. Until, a few months ago as I was waiting in line for a coffee this young lady standing behind me was very kind and complimented me on my hair. Lorena then informed me that she was a hair stylist and respectfully asked for my business. I am so glad she did. I didn't even have to tell her how I wanted it cut and she did an outstanding job. She is polite, sweet and professional. The salon was extremely clean and neat. It had a great vibe and all of the stylists had smiles on their faces. I went into the salon a few days earlier asked the stylist if she could do my hair color I showed her a picture of what I wanted a color I previously had. She said that she could do it. I asked her if she was absolutely sure she said yes I made an appointment I came back. I went to salon got there at 1 o'clock. She did not take me until 130. I showed her a photo again of me with the hair color I wanted and asked again if she could do it. she said yes. I sat in the chair for over five hours when she started to dry my hair, I told her that it was not what I asked for, she asked Another stylist to help she started adding all kinds of bright red shades. I asked for a little trim and not to take a lot I showed her how much. she took over 2" off my hair. I was so devastated what my hair looked like I was speechless. I walked out of the salon looking like Ronald McDonald. I went back to the salon because I was embarrassed how bad my hair looked like I spoke to the owners daughter she was very nice and said would I let them do something and would refund my money, but she needed to talk to the stylist. I then got a phone call from the owner, who was absolutely nasty and said that my color was beautiful I said it was not what I asked for and that everybody else that saw the color laughed at me. my friend who recommended the salon said sorry for recommending them. the owner got very nasty to me and said that she would not refund my money. the owner also said she hade me on video saying that I liked it. I told her I did not say that I was distraught about what the women did to my hair with the color and how much the stylist cut my hair. I was very adamant about the color and I didn't want a lot cut off. The owner refused to listen to any of my concerns and was very nasty and when I asked to see the videotape that she said she had she refused to show it to me. She is recording conversations that you have with your stylist without your knowledg. I have never had a salon owner treat me the way that this owner did. I do not recommend you going to this salon if you care about your hair and want your hair to be done the way you want not the way they think it should be done. Owner continued to talk about a video she had and when I said she was saying things that were not true and to show me the video she refused. I cannot express what a horrible experience this was.

Next, she took me back to the shampoo bowl. She washed and conditioned my hair and gave me the best head massage ever as she was washing. She took her time with my haircut. I had about three inches cut off and layers added. She was very thorough with checking to make sure the layers were even. She did a blowout and style at the end. I left looking and feeling refreshed. I appreciated her attention to detail from start to finish. I will definitely be back.

I wanted my icy platinum (extremely damaged) hair refreshed with a root touch-up and to get k-tips. Now, please keep in mind that the entire back layer of my hair is like 3 inches long from breakage. Any respectable hair stylist would have just said no, and I realize that now. But not Mirage. The photos speak for themselves. The first several are the way she initially sent me home, which is just laughable lol. The next ones are after she "fixed" it i.e. just took the super visible bonds out, but there's still absolutely no blend and it looks atrocious. I went somewhere else to have them taken out and this stylist was utterly appalled not only that they did this service at all with my hair in its current condition, but the technique was extremely sloppy and so tight I was getting sores on my scalp. I asked for a partial refund for the extensions and they refused, so I disputed it with my bank. Also, they lifted my roots to straight up YELLOW and told me to just "use purple shampoo" as if it works that way. You didn't lift it enough... at least they refunded me for that part. ALSO, they charged me $1300 for hair that I later found out costs like $700, they just pocketed the extra. Like ok... Unless you are getting something extremely simple done, AVOID.
