It was much cooler & breezier once we made our way to the other entrance on the Aviarus side where most people were seated. Thankfully, there was no line when we were there which made it a pleasant experience. Their signature cone that is shaped like a rose was a very nice treat. We selected strawberry, pineapple, mango, and dark chocolate for our cone creation. The strawberry macaron made it even more special. It was the cherry on top. The service was good. We originally asked if they can do it in a cup form rather than the cone. No can do, and I totally can see why after seeing her working on the cone. The price was kind of steep. About $16 for the signature macaron cone? I mean, it was an artful labor of love. It also happens to be located in a very touristy part of the Yucatan Peninsula. But, I'm guessing that their prices are similar to the one on Bay Street at International Plaza in Tampa. Our favorite flavor was mango. Would I get it again? Absolutely! I may try it stateside one day soon. It really hit that sweet spot.

Too much cheese for my liking, but with fabulous flavor. My other half ordered a squid platter that he enjoyed. Tonight, I only ordered guacamole with tortilla chips. Simple, yet satisfying. I didn't have much of an appetite. My bf ordered a tuna platter in a red sauce with capers and black olives. The place was packed tonight and the a/c was off, making things quite miserable and sweaty. The service was adequate, not anything to jump up and down for or anything to complain about. I was not thrilled to hear that the owner was Italian and had an Italian chef. It'd be nice to see local ownership and assistance, rather than foreigners.

The food itself was decent for a vegetarian restaurant. I wish they were more clear that all their food was vegetarian as that did not come-out on the menu or called-out by the staff.
