Delicious and cute! I was originally looking for the more…read moretraditional breads however they were more made towards tourists which I get it, not everyone likes the cuernitos like I do. The staff was super sweet and although they did serve "Starbucks" it did not feel like I was walking along the villas of Mexico. We did get some churros and they were reasonably priced and delicious. The cafe was nicely decorated and gave it that Olde type Abuelita cafe vibe.

We stumbled upon this cute little cafe when our cruise made a stop on the port of Costa Maya. The best part about this place is the FREE WIFI that they give you for every purchase. No matter how much you spend, they will give you a slip with the internet password. I bought $2 churros and they gave me two slips for free wifi, so kind! Also, there is no time limit to these internet connections; I was probably sitting there for over an hour and it was greeeaattt!! I mean, a girl has got to catch up on all her social media that she was missing all week while being on a boat in the middle of the ocean, right? The internet speed was fast enough for me to upload my photos onto Yelp and check-in here to earn my Mexico badge--yaaay! Aside from the wifi, they make the food fresh and homemade. The gelato is also refreshing but will cost you $6 for two scoops of it. Altogether, I HIGHLY recommend this cafe if you're ever in Costa Maya. Enjoy!

It was much cooler & breezier once we made our way to the other entrance on the Aviarus side where most people were seated. Thankfully, there was no line when we were there which made it a pleasant experience. Their signature cone that is shaped like a rose was a very nice treat. We selected strawberry, pineapple, mango, and dark chocolate for our cone creation. The strawberry macaron made it even more special. It was the cherry on top. The service was good. We originally asked if they can do it in a cup form rather than the cone. No can do, and I totally can see why after seeing her working on the cone. The price was kind of steep. About $16 for the signature macaron cone? I mean, it was an artful labor of love. It also happens to be located in a very touristy part of the Yucatan Peninsula. But, I'm guessing that their prices are similar to the one on Bay Street at International Plaza in Tampa. Our favorite flavor was mango. Would I get it again? Absolutely! I may try it stateside one day soon. It really hit that sweet spot.
