We stopped for soapapillas, and were delighted! Best I've ever had, served piping hot, and perfectly cooked. Server was also excellent, and friendly, I would go out of my way to have a full meal here, nice atmosphere. I'm a tourist, but I strongly suspect locals eat here. read more

This place has a little hidden secret......THE HAMBURGERS....yes, add cheese but the burgers are simply AMAZING. My husband isn't a Mexican food fan and we were both pleasantly surprised. I was actually a little jealous as I ate my burrito with green chili. Can't wait to travel back through this town. read more

I'm happy to add a recent review for the Dalhart locals and travelers, like myself, just passing through. I really enjoyed the complimentary starter of chips and salsa. Both tasted very fresh and homemade. I highly recommend the enchilada plate. I ordered the noon special of 1/2 order enchiladas. It comes with two enchiladas (I ordered one beef and one cheese enchilada) along with a side of rice and a side of beans. read more

The beef burrito was delicious! I definitely ordered a chicken burrito though, so I can't give a 5. The wait was a bit long but the food was worth it and plentiful. No one wore masks but that seems to be the case for the whole city. Friendly staff. read more

Wow, so glad this place was open on Sunday! Seems that the only other options were either closed or fast food. Very friendly waitstaff. Clean. Hubby and I split a combo that included two beef enchiladas, a crispy taco, salad, rice, beans and two sopapillas. $10. Also had the small queso, tea and water. Total was $19.96. Everything was very tasty. Chips and salsa came out hot. Will stop again, when we are driving thru. read more

Friendly local spot with yummy salsa and chips to start meal! I ordered the taco salad which was delicious with a light flaky crispy shell. I was a little underwhelmed by the ingredients layered with iceberg lettuce, breaded chicken strips, and yellow cheese. Came with a packet of sour cream but instead I drizzled the remainder of my salsa on top. I think that this restaurant is a good alternative to fast food and overall it was a good choice. read more

Stopped in Dalhart for a nights stay on the way toColorado. This small restaurant was calling my name so we pulled in, ordered the chicken enchiladas and was very pleased with what we got. Food was excellent and we will definitely stop again when we are back this way. read more

Rollie cart food and drink delivery system 4. Beers on ice(in Rusty bucket) 5. Biggest bag of onions I've ever seen 6. Tape to hold the ceiling together 7. Supppppper friendly staff 8. Combo 15 was nomnomnomnomtastic 9. Fine aged salsas 10. Imagine a northern Texas home with some walls knocked down and some dinner tables put in 11. Nasty canned ingredients go into this food, the salsa is good though and the portions are decent. We came in on a busy Sunday after church and there was only one waitress with every table filled. I don't think I'll be back. read more

We were passing through town and decided to stop in at this restaurant. The food was horrendous. Quesadillas with American cheese straight out of the microwave. The tacos wrapped in uncooked tortillas. If you are passing through, do yourself and your stomach a favor and keep on going. read more

Had a great lunch ..very reasonable price at an authentic Tex-Mex restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly, plenty of chips and salsa flowing. I got the half combination platter that was a cheese enchilAda, soft taco, rice and beans, a sopapillas and a very large iced tea ..all for $6.75. The beans were homemade also. Stopped for lunch on the way from Texas to New Mexico. Very friendly and helpful wait staff. Salsa was very good and fresh. Guacamole was very good and fresh too. Food came out correct for our group of five and was nice and hot. The enchiladas and soft tacos were very good. Great sopapillas for dessert. read more

Much above other Mexican food in Texas. Options for green chili and sopapillas were wonderful. I had a combination plate and smothered in green chili. The sauces were really good. The service was fairly quick, which was good as we were traveling. Would go there anytime I travel this way. read more
