La Fiesta literally means celebration or a form of thanksgiving. Very Filipino foods, service and their show love all of it: Huge buffet in the heart of growing city in the Philippines. Asian fussion cuisines and a line-up of of authentic Filipino dishes. So many tourists when we came, well aside from the foods this place has a show showcasing the culture of the philippines by folk dancing.there were parts of the show that they will invite some of the patrons to perform with them, Specially the part where they will do the dancing using bamboo and partners will jump in between them its called "tinikling" in our native tongue, foreigners go crazy with this.. Very lively and for sure anybody will enjoy such show. Parking is free, wifi is free. I love the japanese section of the buffet tuna and salmon sashimi is very good in the Philippines. Tons of pinoy dishes my favorite were grilled fish, mudcrabs, rosted pork which we called "lechon" back home. Inside the buffet there is a section that showcasing pinoy street foods, there's fish ball, fried plantain and yum, green mango on stick with shrimp paste, tons of native and rice cakes. Another good one is the beef soup which we called "bulalo" its a combination of tender beef meat and bone and bone marrow boiled with onions, corn pepper, corn and some seasonal veggies as a toppings. One section where people lining -up is the roasted duck looks very delish but for some reason i diny eat duck and turkey. Drinks are unlimited feom fresh fruit juices, shakes, beer and soda name it they have it. In the middle of the restaurant there is this section of Philippine street ice cream which i belived one thing that is "only in the Phillipines"they actually had the sorbetes cart(a cart that is pish by ice cream vendors on the street, wooden with metal and 2 big wheels. My cacaucian friends jokingly said "oh the poor man dirty ice cream" it was so so good. If you love seafoods then this is the place for you grilled shrimp, squid and a lot of fish. Fruits are so many in here, imported ones and local grown, the water melon is the sweetest one ive ever tasted, the ripe mangoes in here is first class. Western dishes, americans and other asian cuisine is also available. The Korean section is good aswell. This place is very good for group, family and kids I would say that celebrating a b day in here is a very wise idea. Wash room is clean, noise level is loud because of the non-stop music. Interior design is Filipino inspired Accept credir and cash,no idea if they are using debit in the Philippines. As a filipino i highly recommend this place not only to tourists but to locals aswell. Nice place happy place, food haven, and entertainment all in one. By writing this review i get emotional, for some reason i am missing my motherland and family way back home. Mabuhay Pilipinas.

La Fiesta, everyone's favorite buffet restaurant! Whether you're celebrating an occasion or you just want to pig out, this place is for you. And it won't break the bank account! The restaurant showcases cuisines from the Philippines, Japanese, Chinese and Continental favorites with specialty of seafoods and grilled meats. They also feature cultural dances on weekends which is awesome when one is entertaining foreign guests. Although there are tons of buffet restaurants in the area, it is in my opinion well worth coming and and enjoying the ambiance and the food at La Fiesta!

IF YOU REMEMBER ANYTHING FROM THIS REVIEW, IT IS THAT YOU MUST EAT THIS STEAMED BUN WITH EGG YOLK PASTE! It starts off as your typical dessert siopao bun, but when you bite into it, you get a burst of creamy, yellow, salted egg yolk sauce. Heaven! Remember to let it cool a bit first, I almost burned my tongue! :D We also had the Xiao Long Bao (P228) and the Shrimp & Pork Siumai (P298), which were also quite good, but the Steamed Bun with Egg Yolk Paste is the one I am recommending to everyone I know!

When Modern Shanghai opened, I got attracted to it mostly because it was new and because of the very nice interiors. Giving-in to curiousity, my Dad and I gave their Mall of Asia branch a try. We ordered the Schezuan Noodles with Spicy Peanut sauce, which we found wasn't as spicy as the other ones we've tried. This may actually be a good thing since it can suit those who can't stand spicy food, and the ones like us who like it spicy can just add chili. We also sampled their Xiao Long Bao which was good and juicy, with a mild after taste. What I absolutely love is that they have blooming tea! They serve the cup with the dried bloom and leaves, then pour hot water into the cup for you to watch. It's interesting and wonderful to watch! Something one must witness at least once.

It is located on the UG Upper Ground Floor of the Nuwa casino hotel. The GM for the hotel was standing in front of the restaurant to greet us! I did not realize I was that SPECIAL. The table setting was simply gorgeous. It was very simply stated yet simply luxurious, with it's gold rimmed tea pot and the gold plated chopstick holder. My companion Kim was simply swept off her feet by this display of simple luxury. I ordered way too much items because I was so excited to be in this magnificent dining room. I ordered 2 Foie Gras dishes and a truffle stuffed chicken dish, a fish maw soup, a walnut chicken dish, an abalone shiumai. We could only manage to consume 1/2 of what I ordered plus they gave us an complimentary gold flaked lobster dumpling and a bird cage full of little chocolate bird deserts. You would think that I really must have won the casino with my gregarious gambling!

We had an excellent dining experience. The staff was great and the food superb! I don't even know where to start. From the moment we walked into the restaurant as we were escorted into our private dining room every one was very warm and friendly. As they served every course they explained what we were having. We were stuffed. Everything we ordered was a treat to our palates..
