Welcome to the Fitness Club where people not only exercise with the same shoes they're walking around but also entering the sauna with the same shoes and some of them with socks and pants. The saddest part of it that the staff don't care at all. They're even inviting potential customers to visit the club and walk around the wet area of the club including pool with their shoes! This facility simply and definitely is not meeting hygienic standards of a public place. Unfortunately not even a head office and their customer service are concerned about it. After being a member for approximately a year I couldn't take it anymore and I cancelled my membership. I would not recommend this place to anybody. read more

Scammers for a sales team They hid the annual cost when you are looking to sign up for a gym and have you believe that they are cheaper and better and ask for a one-time payment fee + first and last month payments. Then, they push you to believe that you need a trainer and that you don't know how to use the gym properly, but they won't explain to you that signing up with a trainer is a trick to lock you on a contract you have to "buy-out" if you change your mind. Then you find out, ask to cancel and they make of money of you by charging you to cancel and still charge you for the month which you have already paid for. They don't care whether they are helping you or not, you are just one of their victims who fell in your scams....I highly advise not to join this gym read more

Beautiful club but they are total SCAMMERS. They charge months after cancellation Im not the only one with this issue. They also fired my personal trainer did not inform me. Called and offered me 18 FREE sessions but charged me $226/mo even they said those sessions would be free. They harass you over the phone when you leave a bad reveiw. I have told everyone about my terrible experience with them. I have since gotten my bank to investigate but joining at LA was the biggest mistake of my life. I do not reccommend. read more

Terrible facility. Extremely dirty, smells bad, rude staff, and unfair policies. My advice would be to pay the extra couple of bucks and go across the street to GoodLife. The difference is night and day. read more

Now I've never written a review of anywhere never mind a bad one, because I'm not some yuppy who over exaggerates the slightest thing. BUT it's really disappointing it only took a year for this place to become a dump. There's mold on the shower curtains, even the ones which have ripped and stapled back together. The men's washroom has smelled like piss and god knows what for the last six months, fortunately it's not uncommon for half the stalls and urinals to be "out of order", so one usually doesn't have the option of using the restroom anyways! The pool seems to be permanently under maintenance, and none of the staff seem to know when it will be fixed, because I think most of them have a disease where if they are pleasant to you or acknowledge your existence they will die. It's also difficult to bring any of these questions up to the manager because he's clearly too busy on his iPhone. Other than that great place! read more

Basketball net has been broken for months and nobody wants to fix it! Fix the damn net already!

Clean club, members and staff are really nice. Always willing to help if you need a spot or have a question. Fun referral programs as well that let you win some prizes in house. Squash courts are a nice addition. read more

POOR management ruins the experience here! Most employees not there to help - just a money grab and a push to get you to book a trainer. Complain about missing paper towels in the pullies (which is most days) and it's a big deal to ask. Management team talk in circles and are sleazy. Fees change and don't try to negotiate a lower fee. A friend of mine who joined on the first day just left because they wouldn't work out a better rate with her. Another friend is leaving Mar. 1 because he found out that he and his wife were being charged for ALL LA Fitness access when they didn't want that in the first place. AND the kicker is...to change it down to what they wanted all along and that is just the Brant St. club, it would cost them an initiation FEE... I'm now looking for a new club. It's a sleazy thing to do. Val and Annette are the two poor leaders her with NO PERSONALITY. It's a shame but it's Poor Customer service like theirs that lends us all to other gym opportunities. read more

Not worth the price. My phone was stolen out of my coat pocket within the first few months of attending. Employees were unapologetic and not helpful when I told them what happened. In general there are maybe 3 nice employees here everyone else barely cracks a smile. They're not there to help you or offer services they are just there to sell things and make money. You already have my money you can at least be nice to keep my membership. Also, for the price you pay they should at least provide towels and wifi. It is just a very average gym with nothing special to offer. I can't wait until another gym opens up in the area, I'll switch in a heartbeat. read more

Joined here after considering a few other places, but being a month old I couldn't go pass it. The price is very reasonable for the facility and what it offers. Although not interested in classes, the pool, sauna and spa, the weights area is comprehensive as is the cardio areas. The washrooms are very good if you need to shower and rush off to work. Admit I train 830am so crowds are never an issue. Can't think of a reason not to train here. read more

Didn't even get to sign up. The sales team so disorganized. First I dealt with one person who didn't show for the tour so I was passed over to the "slick" guy who told me he was the general manager. He tells me he sent the rep out to do some promo somewhere which at the time seemed reasonable. But now I'm wondering. And I find out later there isn't a general manager. I was quoted a price which seemed reasonable, did my trial pass and it was good. I spoke again with the no show sales rep and tell her that I'm thinking on whether to join one or all or wait until the fall. She tells me that at month end there are sometimes better plans available and if there is she will call me. No call so I figure no better plans. I had plans to call her first week of March only to get a call from another sales person telling me the original had left and the price I was quoted was no longer available as it was a special. At no time did Mr Slick or sales person tell me that. So now the monthly fee is up $5. What the heck is that. I complained and said I'm not joining right now. To be honest I was ticked. I then get a call from Mr Slick who says he talked to his boss and couldn't get me the original price but could get me a monthly fee of $1 more. I suspected something so I called and guess what ... the price Mr Slick offered was the current special. So he lied to me. It brings to mind every bad thing you hear about fitness clubs and their fees. Very sleazy. I wouldn't join Burlington Brant St club if they paid me. I totally don't trust them. read more
