Went in for a fitness assessment and Natasha really knows how to get the most out of you. She spent over an hour explaining and showing how to work out effectively. She took whatever time was needed to make sure my body was in the right position so that nothing was injured. She also explained how she does circuit training and it is very effective. This review is based on my personal perception of an interaction that I unfortunately experienced by a somewhat boss, his name is Fred. I asked my trainer to cancel my training sessions due to a medical situation that my husband is going through. My trainer proceeded to call Fred to come and cancel this on the computer ( I do not think that she had authorization). He came into the building from wherever he was and came to her desk at her request. He basically shoved the keyboard to her and said to sign in, very abruptly and rude, he never acknowledged me ( customer) at all! he did not say hello or boo to me , he asked me for my phone number and then asked me for reason for cancelling sessions, I said medical, he made what I perceived was a snide remark like "of course' as if I was lying ! He snapped at trainer and told her to pay attention, like scolding a child. I was in total shock as to someone in his position acting so entitled and rude to the employees, let alone a paying customer ! I was seething at the unprofessional way he acted! He was so rude.. I feel so sorry for the trainers who have to endure this treatment every time they deal with this arrogant person. I asked them to let the VP know that I would like to talk to her or him. I would like to commend Elizabeth and Todd , who were wonderful, they should to be commended for the way they handled the awful situation and apologizing. read more

I joined LA Fitness a year and a half ago. I go 5 days a week for Aquafit, Zumba and Yoga classes. The staff greets me when I arrive, the instructors are knowledgeable & motivating, and the gym, locker rooms & sauna areas are clean. I recommend this gym 5 stars worth. read more

The quality of the trainers is impeccable. I identify Harold the personal trainer at LA Fitness 1604/Blanco. I have had many trainers over the years, but Harold is by far the best! He pushes me the most and doesn't hesitate to add more weight to any exercise. I highly recommend him to anyone who is serious about improving their health and gaining strength. Thank you. I would not recommend the Personal Trainng at the Leon Valley, TX. location. In five months they went through four different trainers. The club never contacted me to tell me a trainer quit or to set me up with a new trainer. Every trainer had a different plan and I was never able to get a consistent program set up. I talked to management and they offered me two free sessions. I never used them because the fourth trainer, who she said was great, showed up for the first session but didn't show up for the second one. I quit in disgust at that point. read more

I thought my gym was just fine until I took a tour here at LA Fitness. I canceled my previous membership and joined as quickly as I could. My membership here is more costly than my previous gym but it's well worth it. This location is very clean, the machines are in working order, the staff stays busy cleaning or greeting members, and the trainers are very helpful. The gym itself has a the extras I didn't know I needed and offers classes that I'd like to take that are scheduled at convenient times. read more

By far the best LA Fitness in town. And the reason I say that is the custodian on staff here. Not sure what the gentleman's name is who works in the evenings but every time I'm here he is busting his butt making this gym the cleanest LA fitness in town. This LA Fitness is only about 6 months old. It is conveniently located on Bandera and 410. I moved on from Gold's and this location was everything I wanted in terms of a facility. They have an amazing facility with state of the art amenities. It is large and open, with all new equipment. They have a CrossFit, Pilates, HIIT, Aerobics, and Cycle station--as well as a pool and sauna. The only thing I don't like is that the staff does not make sure members are wearing masks properly. There are constant violators. I wish they were more serious about the health of their members by educating them about covid, and enforcing proper mask use among members. With more than 400K Americans dead from covid, I'm docking two stars due to health reasons. read more

Unprofessional. Do NOT bring your kids here, they will NOT supervise professionally. They allowed a random gym member to take a 1 year old from the room who "claimed" she knew the kids parents, and walk away. Luckily the kid found his mother, & the police were called. Unfortunately since the lady didn't harm the child, police couldn't do anything. Started training here because i was in the area. I have to say very impressed with the facility. Management Behnaze and staff very professional and polite. The staff keep the gym very clean plus they're always doing they're best to maintain facilities. Sauna and whirlpool are my favorites. This is one of the reasons i will continue to train here. Don't give me the excuse of emotional support dogs, those are not trained animals and can attack at anytime. Alek, was very helpful and super kind to us as we came in with some questions. Definitely recommend getting a membership here!
