DO NOT JOIN AT THIS LOCATION!!! the equipment has not changed since they first opened in 2001 and hasn't been deep cleaned since at least 2024. this location has been through three sales managers since january 2025 and the sales team do not care about anything other than getting money out of you and will up charge you. the staff is told to inconvenience customers who are doing day passes or free vip passes as well. the physical training department have been through 2 managers this year as well and consistently gets terrible reviews. multiple women have complained about the male staff making them uncomfortable with their flirting. the saunas do not get properly cleaned because staff is not supposed to be at the location pass closing , making it almost impossible to get a thorough cleaning done. the roof fell down due to a pipe leaking and they only replaced one tile and spray painted the water damage white to match the rest of the ceiling (management is very aware of this as well), a punch bag came down and the bolts are about to come out the wall from said punching bag, one of the hoops in the basketball court is also about to come down. machines will stop working and staff will not put any signs up or warn anyone. weights are constantly being stolen and management will very rarely replace them. unless a customer is physically violent or literally threatening to unalive people ,they will not ban the customer, there has been multiple shootings in front of the gym with customers and they have been allowed back into the gym afterwards. classes will be cancelled the day of and no one will alert customers till they come to the gym and are greatly disappointed. the pipes are constantly giving issues which is why the hot tub and the pool will be down all the time. corporate absolutely has plans to close this location and has been contacted 100 times to try and better the gym but they refuse to do anything. they don't even care if customers contact them directly because why would they? if you're in the morrow area , fitness connection and planet fitness are much better and 100% worth the money read more

The LAFitness in Morrow Georgia is the worst I have ever seen. I gave it one star because that was the lowest rating available. While the staff IS friendly, the overall quality of a gym experience is unacceptable at best. The showers in the pool area just spew water down the tile. There are NO hooks to hang your towel when you get out of the pool. There has been a shortage of water weights to use in Water Aerobics class and the weights that are available are mostly in need of repair or need to be replaced. This location is closest to my home but I go to other locations to work out. I come to this location occasionally because I take Water Aerobics and the trainer I like rotates to this gym once a week. I wish I could give Mrs Melba 5 stars because she is the only reason I still come here with my little one! I'm more than shocked that 5 years later the crater is growing in the ladies sauna! Instead of fixing it they simply cover it up, so I guess it won't get repaired until someone trips & sues them! The really bad thing about this location is they lost a good Zumba instructor (Christina) over a year ago and haven't even tried to replace those classes. I think they truly need new management to breathe life into this gym. There are a few good instructors like Sty, Porsha, Victoria, Judy, Antonio, and a few others I can't remember or haven't experienced yet. As mentioned before the Kids Care is awesome & my son can't wait to go so rest assured your children are in good hands there! I must also give kudos to the young lady that cleans in the evening. Mens locker room stays dirty, pubic hair and tissue everywhere, no one wipes their machines after sweating, the machines are dated from ancient rome for the amount of money they charge, a very unclean place coming from planet fitness. Sure they have more amenities than other gyms if that's what you are looking for. Positive they do have an indoor basketball court, sauna when it's working, a pool, racket ball court and free weights. read more

Holy. Moly. Walked in around 7:45pm. The sheer volume of people in that gym should be against a fire code. It would be one thing if everyone was working out and really utilizing the gym. A lot of folks were eating up space having conversations in front of machines. All the smith machines were dominated from large groups. It was a complete disaster. I'm aware Monday is International Chest Day, but when I asked the front desk if it was always like this, they didn't hesitate to nod in agreement. In the mornings too apparently. I have been a member at LA fitness for over 15 years, and never in my life has this gym been in such disarray, they have had amazing managers, such as Mike, Travis, and Jahan, but this place has gone all the way down, myself as well as over 20 members I have spoke to, long time members, are at the point where we no longer even feel comfortable being members at this gym, to start with each and every night there are now members that come in with huge big boom boxes and turn them up as loud as possible playing their music, why can't you just do as most people do, and where your devices that allow you to hear your choice of music, and once you ask for assistance via management or other people that are staff at LA fitness no one helps you no one even pays an attention to your request to have them turn this music down, I find that it is so disrespectful to play extremely loud music, while others are coming, trying to wind down from a long days work, or even mental things that we are going through, the gym is a place of relaxation, to mingle, and to get things off of your mind, not to hear loud people screaming, also, the same individuals find it OK to scream at the top of their voice, each and every time they do a rep. myself, as well as countless members are deciding that once we have contacted corporate, if there is nothing done, we will take ourselves other places to comfortably work out. There is only one person at this gym that truly does his job. He is a member of the janitorial staff a young guy and I actually feel sorry for him because he is the only person at LA fitness in Morrow that is truly doing his job, my elderly mother and aunt also have been members at LA fitness in Morrow for over 15 years and find it unbearable, and also unsanitary at this point, I truly wish that Travis or Mike will come back and take on the task of getting this gym back in order, because it is become a place of loud, Crazyness while trying to workout during the evening, And not one staff member is willing, or cares to address the madness. Since when have members been allowed to bring boom box speakers into A public workout facility's?? Not to mention There Are NO Weights to due your work outs.. And I as well as All of the Long time associates that have memberships are being told basically that LA fitness is not willingly doing Anything until Cameras are installed.. Meanwhile.. On Monday, Jan 6, a notice was placed on the men's sauna saying that it would be closed from 8 to 10 AM on Jan 7th, the following day, for service. I arrived on the 7th at 7:30 to find that the notice had been changed (with a pencil) to 7 to 10:00 AM. Since the sauna was still hot and no active repairs ongoing, I saw no harm siting it it. 10 Minutes later, I was kicked out with no apology for the erroneous notice. "The sauna is closed for a reason, even I don't know what that is," I was told by the staff member. Can't LA Fitness do better in providing a service and notice to members when such service is to be cleaned and maintained without creating conflict with the members? This ROUTINE matter was handled in an unprofessional and personally offensive manner. When I asked her, I was told by the Operations Manager that this kind of situation was very likely to happen again. Really? In the past few weeks, I was rudely told on several occasions by a cleaning staff member that I couldn't ,"Just walk around in my swim trunks, dripping water in the locker room." I spoke to the Operations Manager who assured me that she would speak with him about it, but he has since repeated the behavior. Another man was openly and loudly criticized by the same cleaning crew staff on the same day for being discreetly naked in the changing area. Huh? As a member of over 20 years, I think the staff at LA Fitness needs to rethink WHO is working for WHOM, and strive to provide a greater effort at professional courtesy, including more accurate (and helpful) notice as to regular maintenance issues, and a more polite and helpful staff. read more

Today I went to this facility to sign up to began my training regiment. Alonzo was with a client and upon finishing he cordially greeted me and asked how could he help. I told him that I wanted to join he took my information and signed me up. We sat up the mobile app and he walked me through the advantages and ease of having this app, he reviewed the various activities schedule with me. He set an appointment for me to meet with individual that would help me set my goals going forward. Alonzo seemed to know everyone that came through and exited the facility. He had a repore with the clients. I asked him was he the manager, he smiled and said one of them. I took the time to write this review because it was so refreshing to see excellent and easy customer service, he was hands on, smiled at the customers, he was informative, he knew their names ( in sales that usually keeps the customer coming back). Prices don't make any sense. When they reopened during covid19, i got an email offer $19/month, a few months later, $21. Now at my local it's $27/month. The initial fee when I first got here was $120/each + $30/month + yearly fee. Mostly you have to wait for sauna room. No one takes care of sauna room for real... Equipments were old and not enough for everyone, you have to wait wait wait for what you need. Not open 24/7 is a cons. You should look for workout anytime or any other professional places. I much prefer this location over my home gym in College Park. The staff is more friendly, the gym feels brighter and newer, and there is ample parking. The weekend boot camp classes with Kenny are simply amazing (in that die hard/worst workout in your life kind of way). Honestly, that is the only reason I come to this location because it is further away for me. I would be at this gym 4-5x/week otherwise! The only disappointments I had were the cleanliness of the bathrooms (or lack there of) and the absence of TVs on each individual treadmill, bike, etc. Disclaimer: I have never experienced this location at night to comment on break-ins and safety. read more

It's really irritating when you have politely said "no" to a "free assessment," then receive calls from the same person at least once every day after that, asking the same question. Please listen to your members when they have said no for a free assessment. I had a great trainer back in Cali with 24 Hours Fitness at the Walnut location in Fremont and I'm not ready for a new trainer or an assessment yet. I have been to the LA Fitness Southlake location in Morrow numerous times and I really like the staff. Marques is a great GM, and the front desk staff is really friendly. This location has a ton of machines, a lot of amenities (including a great juice/smoothie bar!), and a nice big locker room. I've interacted with a lot of the guests at the gym working out too, it's a good crowd. I recommend LA Fitness in general, and definitely the Southlake location. read more

The staff at this LA Fitness is friendly however the club is dirty. It is common to see people holding a machine by placing their bag on the machine. When the manager was asked why this was allowed to happen she said they had so much trouble with theft that they allowed bags on the gym floor. this is unfortunate because it is in a good location for us. read more

This was by far the worse LA Fitness that I have EVER been to. My partner says that she will never go back. The locker room was disgusting, lockers were broken, and for some odd reason it was freezing. We got there around 7:30 and all of the cardio machines were occupied. We had to wait a few minutes before we were able to warm up. This location is also pretty small. Once again, I'm spoiled by the locations in Buckhead. Apparently the location on Old National is a pretty decent facility too. The choice of equipment is outdated. The lack of room to execute any mat exercises is minimal. I hope no one pays for PT here. It wouldn't be efficient. There's raquetball courts, a basketball court, and a pool. Once again there was a bootlegger selling things at a table. This time it was fruit. At least it was relevant to what was going on inside the gym. For the first time, I experience the syndrome that everyone talks about with LA Fitness. The people stare. I say "people" bc it was not experienced just from the men. Please, unless you are saying hello bc you recognize me from Yelp, don't interrupt my workout. I'm there on a mission to get my sexy back, NOT to pick up people. We got through out workout, but I will have to be in a serious crunch to go back here. read more
