Great place. The chicken piccata is good. The tiramisu dessert with vanilla ice cream is worth every pennie.

Okay so went to Ensenada to visit my dad and my son washed Italian food. I was skeptical because were in Mexico and to be honest I wanted authentic Mexican food but he got his way and we ate at this place. Beautiful restaurant, welcoming ambiance and staff. Service was perfecto . We had a party of 9 and we all are together. Pizza was delicioso and the drinks were perfectly made.

This Place Was Delicious We stopped by during a Friday afternoon and this place was empty. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We began with the Fondutta di Formaggio which was so cheesy and flavorful (the cheese pull was insane). I also tried the Spinach Ravioli which comes with 4 big pieces. The sauce was very well seasoned that with the Parmesan on top it was a bit salty. Those bites without the added Parmesan were the BEST. They had a full bar which means COCKTAILS, but we decided to stay on theme and get wine. They have a vast selection, you'll be sure to find one that pairs lovely with your food.

We had walked by here on the way back to our hotel and it looked very nice and the menu had many items to choose from. We were surprised that they are open at 7am for breakfast and do not close until 11pm (on their Facebook page but I think they close earlier a couple nights so call first). The breakfast menu had typical meals similar to other places in the area. The interior is that of an upscale Italian restaurant anywhere. They have nice seating on the patio as well as booths and many tables inside. There is a bar on one side of the room with many different liquors and wines as well as non-alcoholic drinks. There is a big wood fire pizza oven in the back by the kitchen with a huge face on it. We were ushered to a booth in the back. We chose a bottle of chianti from Italy ($25) since they didn't have it by the glass. It was a good pairing with the food we planned to get. They brought a bread that we dipped in the basalmic and olive oil it had a texture more like biscuits than Italian bread but it was ok. We ordered a Caesar Salad that they were nice enough to split on two plates. The lettuce was crisp and the dressing was pretty good but there wasn't very much so you had just plain lettuce with croutons (homemade out of the bread). Our entrees were the Osso Buco. It was unusual as it was pork but it was large and very good. The sauce also was different than Italian Osso Buco but it went with the pork well. I had the lasagna that was served piping hot out of the oven. It was delicious! The meat was tender, the sauce had excellent flavor and the cheese was brown and bubbly. Overall, the food, service and especially ambiance made this 5 stars. Our entire bill came to $63 with the $25 bottle of wine so very reasonable. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Food and drinks were great. I recommend their spinach ravioli and cucumber sangria. The place itself is very soothing, there was live music and lit candles. Our server was really nice!

Decent Italian when you're in Ensenda. We came hungry for an end of the night pizza after a long day of wine and cheese. They were friendly, fast, and hit the spot. Got it to go, but had a nice glass of vin while we waited. Tasty and friendly!

Da Toni. Im actually…read morequite surprised this is my first review for a business in my beautiful home town of EnseNasty. I always thought Fauna would be my first but hey, whatever. Here it goes! I've been coming to this restaurant for years, easily idk more than 6 or 7 y tengo que decir que señor Toni es un chingón and knows how to assemble a masterful beastly team in the kitchen. Regarding the owner and head chef, he's a cool dude and I very much enjoy shooting the shit with him every time I visit. Essentially, the food is always good, no one can deny that. Whether it's the long standing regular menu with the classics or the seasonal specials. I truly love how it's clearly an Italian restaurant that proudly incorporates local flavors & ingredients as well as slightly fuses other types of cuisines. You can definitely taste the Mexican influence in some of the dishes like in the spaghetti con pesto di Serrano e jalapeño. I absolutely love that dish, The flavors just pop and play together so eloquently. MARCA DIABLO as mi abuelito chichi would say. Italian hand emoji unlocked with essentially every dish I've had there. The rib eye I orders on my most recent visit around early November was a true highlight, best execution of any Da Toni visit and one of the best steaks I've had in Baja. Highly recommend this place. They recently switched over to another location which makes the restaurant improve drastically, not just the design and ambiance but also adds some much needed space that the other location really lacked. salute, denaro e amore

We discovered this restaurant last year while visiting Ensenada on a cruise ship. My husband asked…read morea local where he would eat for breakfast, and he literally walked us to this restaurant. We were apprehensive, as it is a pizza place. However, we quickly understood why he recommended this restaurant after we ate our breakfast. My husband is a machaca connoisseur, and he raved about their machaca. I ordered the divorciados that came with chilaquiles and beans. It was to die for! They also served bread before our meal came. The homemade jam was delicious. We've been wanting to try their pizza, and we finally tried it yesterday. They served fresh, warm, yummy bread before the pizza arrived. We ordered two medium pizzas (Hawaiian and Mushrooms, Sausage & Pepperoni). The pizza was good, but they use canned mushrooms and I prefer fresh mushrooms. There were four of us, and we couldn't finish both pizzas. The pizzas were larger than the sizes as they appear on the wall. I wouldn't go back for the pizza. However, I will definitely eat breakfast there every time I'm in Ensenada! They are located right by where the vans drop off cruise ship passengers who prefer a shuttle instead of walking. It's a short 10 minute walk from where the cruise ships dock.

The crust was golden and just the right amount of crisp, the cheese was melty and rich without being greasy, and the pepperoni had that perfect little curl and crisp on the edges. No frills, no gimmicks--just solid, delicious pizza done right. Service was quick, staff was friendly, and the pizza came out hot and fresh. Sometimes all you need is a well-made classic to hit the spot, and this one absolutely delivered. Will definitely be back--probably sooner than I should.
