A very good friend of mine treated me to this restaurant as a late birthday gift. Before going, she did inform me that this restaurant was connected to a gas station. I am not going to lie, I was skeptical at first. Once arriving me and my friend were seated immediately by the hostess. There was plenty of seats given the day. We went last weekend and I was shocked it wasn't that crowded. Right after being seated our server came and ask us for our drink orders. She then brought out the complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the frozen mango margarita and my friend ordered a corona beer. The menu had a lot of options but decided on getting the steak fajita nachos. My friend got the chicken fajita nachos because it's one of her favorite dishes here. The steak fajita nachos DID NOT Disappoint. It was savory, full of cheese and had plenty of meat. Periodically, the server would ask if we needed anything and brought out more chips and salsa. I will most definitely be back soon and I enjoyed every minute being here. read more

They got my order wrong after repeating it twice to them and then had issues taking my payment and made it really confusing then they latter handed me wrapped the tacos instead of putting them in a to go box I've never gotten a taco wrapped in tin foil.They tasted good tho read more

Visiting the area for a local event. Found this gem! We came for dinner last night and let me tell you, it's some of the most delicious, fresh and authentic Mexican we've ever eaten. And that says a lot since we are big fans of Mexican cuisine. Fresh homemade corn tortillas, the best salsa! And the flank steak as well as enchiladas are to die for. Oh and the Michelada's are frosty and so tasty. Like a Mexican Bloody Mary. We had great service. Idk what the other reviews are taking about. We're back today for lunch! I went today & ordered some sopes. The meat was literally that squishy hard part. The nerves. I use to like this place but I won't be going back. Not just that but I asked for some hot sauce & well to be honest my Spanish isn't that very good & the lady gave me some other type of sauce that apparently is like $5 only for sauce! The service here was quick and good! The food is authentic Mexican, not Tex-Mex! I ordered the Mini tacos, and chicken fingers with fries for my little boy. Chips with salsa came with the meal. The lemonade was huge! My son had apple juice, oh and I added jalapeño cheese dip! The entire bill was $21.00. The service was friendly, the place was clean and cozy......and they serve margaritas!!! A roach was in my food. . I decided to give it a try solely based off of the great reviews. It was me and 4 kids. The server was nice . Didn't like how the menu prices are blacked out. I really liked the chips and salsa. The food didn't take long after it was ordered. . They have a grade of a 91 which is lower than places I've been but also didn't think much of it. I ordered the fajita's and I ate my side of rice and pico first. 3 bites in to the fajita I saw a roach in my food !!!!! I told the closest server to me she just made a face and took my plate . Always great food! The girls there can sometimes be difficult as in, they don't understand what you're trying to order but the food is always really good. Highly recommend the taco salad and the cheese dip! I've tried chicken tacos, steak tacos, chicken burrito- and chicken on the grill. All delicious! read more

This is a small Mexican restaurant that's pretty near where I work. I've grown really fond of it because of two things, really. One, and this is a big one - they have GREAT service. The people who work there are excellent at what they do. They always smile, take your order quickly and they've never, ever gotten it wrong yet despite the slight language barriers. Just a really pleasant break from the typical lunch spots around, even if you get food to go. Two, and this is the other obvious big one, the food is actually really good. The chips are nice and light and crispy, and the salsa is spicy but not super-hot. The food is extremely well-cooked, always arrives hot and fresh and good. The fajitas are sizzling upon arrival and I love, love, love their lunch nachos. I've only had one thing I didn't like and it wasn't because it was badly done, but because I didn't pay attention to what I was ordering and didn't realize the food came with flour tortillas instead of corn. In any case if you're in the Norcross area give it a shot. It's a nice, clean space with reasonable parking. They have a full bar as well as lots of non-traditional fare and it's really cheap to eat there. I can get out of there without spending $10 for lunch and that's rare these days and super-helpful for the wallet! read more

Usually whenever I get a chimichanga somewhere, the chicken is nothing special. This place, though? Whatever they did to the chicken was phenomenal! I'll be frequenting this spot more often, the lady up front who I placed my order with was very sweet and helpful and the time it took to receive my food and get out the door was minimal. I was a little skeptical about going into this restaurant however once it was recommended by a friend we decided to go. It's a small mom and pops place and our waitress was very nice and helpful with the menu items. THey brought our chips and 3 different kinds of salsa out right away. The portion size was definitely more bang for your buck and the quality of the food is so fresh. I had the chicken chimichanga and the chicken was seasoned just right and the portion size again was a lot I was only able to eat half. The lettuce, tomatoe and guacamole that came on the side were very good too. My husband thinking about portions sizes he gets in other restaurants ordered 3 steak tacos and 3 shrimp tacos and he could only finish 4. There was no skimping on the meat distribution with these tacos and each shrimp taco had no 2 shrimp but about 5 generously sized shrimp in them. We were unable to get any adult beverages because we had our daughter with us but next time we will order drinks. I have since ordered to-go when I don't feel like making Mexican cuisine during the week and even the to-go portion and plating is just as large as if we were dining in. My new favorite place to go. We used to LOVE this place. The tacos are great. It appears that listening and understanding is the problem. They have this red salsa or "red sauce" that they serve with tacos. Of course they have other sauces but we like the red. At some point it became a gamble with wether they would have it or not because we would order over the phone and then get there to find out they don't have any. So we thought we would get smart and call to ask if they have the sauce before ordering and spending our money. Basically we don't want the tacos if we can't have the sauce we want. Today we call and ask if they have the red sauce before we order and they say YES. We get there to pick up and after we pay, they tell us they're out of the sauce. This is the THIRD time this has happened. We're fed up. -Just tired of it. Not sure why "red sauce" means something different over the phone than in the restaurant -or why when we ask about the red sauce, half of the employees we talk to barely know what we're asking for. And that's frustrating in itself. How you work here and don't know what I'm asking for???? I don't think it's too much to ask for to at least honestly answer YES or NO when I ask if you have something in stock. read more

Great lunch spot recommended by a client. It's beside a gas station but has a 94 on the health inspection. The food was amazing. Everything from the salsa to the pechuga con cheese dip. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food received. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Norcross. read more

This place has the best Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico! In town on business and have eaten at La Fuente two days in a row and will probably be back at least one more time before I head home. The flavors here are incredible. The portion sizes are huge and the service is quick. The place may look like a hole in the wall from outside but it is definitely a diamond in the rough. read more
