Flavors pretty basic as far as "Mexican food" in Tennessee. My issue with this is the burrito wrap job. If I'm ordering a burrito I want to be able to pick it up. Also, it's not impossible to get a bigger tortilla. I work in the industry. . I'm so disappointed that they can not wrap a burrito so they slap two tortillas together like a blanket. It's silly. Our server was the best. He was having a birthday that day and gave us a slice of his cake. He was great.

I've ordered chicken there and it was cut so thin you could read a newspaper thru it. When I mentioned it to the waiter he was quite proud how thin it was cut. He even offered to take me to the back and watch it be cut so thin. It wasn't a compliment. read more

Came for the first time and ordered two fish tacos and grilled veggies to go. Had wait a while, they gave me the tacos first, then another 10 mins before the veggies came out. I wasn't happy because tacos would get cold! Then when I got home to eat, the fish tacos were not made with fish, but ground beef. I DO NOT EAT MEAT. The order clearly says fish tacos, and I was charged for them too. I was very disappointed. At least the veggies we're tasty. I don't think I'll go back again. read more

The food is mediocre compared to good Mexican restaurants in larger cities. On a bill they pre-calculate 15%, 20%, 25% suggested tips based on the total price including tax. The actual tip amounts are 16.5%, 21.5% and 26.5% - not nice. read more

I'm a frequent diner at La Fuenta. The food ordered off the menu is always fresh and tasty. The service is good, the atmosphere is festive and casual. great place to take kids. I don't recommend the buffet, but everything I've ordered off the menu has been great. read more

My husband and I eat there all the time. Friendly service. Try the chile colorado. The grilled vegetables are good, especially with a half order of shrimp. Roger, if I get fajita nacho, which I also like, I ask them to sauté up some fresh jalapeños along with the other ingredients. They are most obliging, and it's plenty spicy! read more

Best Mexican food in Pulaski, but that's because it's the only Mexican food in Pulaski other than Taco Bell. The food is decent, but I suppose I'm spoiled having lived in Texas most of my life. We ate here yesterday on our way in from Wheeling in the Country & it was delicious! The salsa was on point & if you like it a lil spicier, try the hot! The service was fast & friendly! Friendly service, the waiters remember you and what you like to drink. They are prompt and discreet, just like they should be. Most of the time the food is amazing, though the beans are a bit salty. Trivia night is a bit hectic but still fun. There are televisions throughout, giving it the feel of more of a sports bar and grill than a restaurant, but this is tolerable for the food. read more

Some quick tips from A Mexican food connoisseur. In all my thirty three years of walking on God's blessed earth I have NEVER eaten such horrible Mexican food in life until my visit to this establishment. The food was bland, flavorless, and downright upsetting. The targeted demographic in this area are blindly being taken advantage of. I was getting sick smelling and eating the food. The beans tasted and smelled as if they were poured right out of a can. Once I got past the fact that they were canned beans, they smelled old. When beans are not fresh they have a certain smell to them. The rice was dry and undercooked. The enchiladas were dry and tough. They tried to mask the quality of the food with sour cream, cheese and vegetables on top of the food, but to no avail. The ground beef was dry, old and flavorless. The chicken followed suit lacking any sort of flavor or tenderness. The Chile relleno was foul. I left the food there on the plate picked through as I tried to find something good to give me hope, but my only hope was getting the check and walking out of there and chewing on some tums or pepto-bismol tablets. 18 dollars later after leaving utterly disappointed from this place my overall cost has certainly exceeded its ROI as I had to walk next door to Walmart and purchase some over the counter medicine for an upset stomach. I will strongly suggest not eating here. The prices are outrageous and the food just plain sucks. I would not give this food away for fear of getting hit with a lawsuit nor feed this food to my dog fearing the angry response I might get back from that pup. On the bright side the young gentleman that waited on me gave me outstanding service and the sweet tea was surprisingly good, but hey what the heck I'm in Tennessee the sweet tea better of been good! Oh and FYI the only reason this place got one star was because I accidentally pressed it with my big fingers and couldn't figure out how to take it off! Y'all have a good Day! This place isn't what it use to be. When it first opened, it was great atmosphere, amazing food and decent prices. The food isn't what it use to be, that's for sure. The salsa isn't great and almost taste like it comes from a Sysco can. For some reason, the refried beans are extremely spicy which has never been the norm. Although I do enjoy hot and spicy foods, I don't like the fire to be a surprise or in refried beans. The rice is usually dry and I have gotten burnt rice on to-go orders. Speaking of to-go orders... When ordering over the phone, no name is ever taken for them and I've had times when the phone was passed to several different employees until someone finally took my order. Always check the take out bag also. On numerous occasions, I've had small items such as tortillas or queso missing up to entire entrees. Nothing aggregates more than getting all the way home just to find out you were charged for a meal you didn't receive. It's best just to skip this place altogether. read more

My husband and I had our LAST lunch at LaFuente today! While we were eating my husband pointed at the Buffet table and there was a COCKROACH making his way to the food. A waiter just happened to walk by and smushed it with a towel and walked off. He didn't even come back and sanitize where he squashed the nasty bug! My husband had just finished his meal...yes..he had eaten off the buffet. :-/ I had ordered from the kitchen..but after seeing the COCKROACH I lost my appetite. When we went to pay our bill..my husband told the manager about the cockroach..and he apologized. Then to top it off...my husband was missing a $20 bill and went back in and the guy admitted that he had it...and apologized ...again. ..and I've had stomach cramps and diarrhea every since I got home!! Uh..NO...We WILL NOT be going back! Update.. I was on vacation when I got your private message...and didn't feel like it was crucial to reply right away..since it took over a year for you to acknowledge my comment on Yelp. Also..I find it hard to Believe that your security cameras have data from over a year ago..but yes..my husband DID go back for his $20. Evidently you didn't read my review because the "tiny bug" was a cockroach...and not "tiny"...and it wasn't on a plate..it was climbing up the buffet where the food is. So Evidently I wasn't the only customer who complained about cockroaches. I understand you wanting to spin this to make me look like I'm lying..but my comment in 2015 was PURE FACT AND PURE TRUTH! Yes..I am aware that the Health Inspector came was because I called him. He notified me afterward. So..."spin" this any way you want. The fact still remains....a roach was crawling up the buffet counter...and yes...my husband had to ask for his $20 back. This place has ok service but the food is bland and the chips tend to be tasteless. I really don't understand why they are busy except that maybe their regulars are used to settling for less than great food. The fried ice cream is good but it's really hard to screw up ice cream. My family and I ate here yesterday and I have to say, this is the best Tex-Mex food in Middle Tennessee. You have to go to all the way to San Antonio or Albuquerque (real tamales) to get better than this. The fajitas were sizzling and made of quality chicken breast. The onions and peppers had been cooked a little too long, though, and tasted bitter. Our server was super friendly and the prices were decent. One piece of advice: stay away from the buffet, especially during off peak hours. The food on the bar simply begins to get stale. Order fresh. You won't be disappointed. read more
