Mofungo- beef! Holy smokes was this delicious! My friend took me and ordered for us- and I think I am in love! This was tender flavorful and delicious seriously must try! First time coming to this restaurant. It was a week day and it was completely dead. Our server expressed that at the moment he was the host the server and the bartender so we're gonna take a little bit longer. With that being said, everything came fairly quick and he was very attentive. We first started with the fried cheese and guava sauce, the alcapurrias one beef, one crab and one order of blood sausage/morcilla. All the appetizers were really good. Little had one of the kids meal which was white rice and a pork chop and he seemed to enjoyed it. Oldest one had the tenders and fries and he liked that as well. We decided to order a few dishes so we could have leftovers for the hotel first we had the Mofongo with shrimp and octopus I would have preferred just octopus, but unfortunately, they serve it mixed not standalone. With that being said, the Mofongo was very soft not dry and the seafood mix was really tender and delicious. I really enjoyed it. We also had the arroz con gandules and fried chicken chunks. The chicken itself was well seasoned and not dried. Definitely homemade. The rice and peas had lots of bacon and ham so be aware of that if you do not eat pork. And lastly, we had a order of el yunque which felt like an abomination definitely not something we enjoyed. There was so much going on and it just ended up not being something we liked. For the dessert, we were going to order a Tres Leche, but they had none available so we decided to go without any. Overall, it was a nice location, big restaurant good seasoning . read more

At 6:30pm -We came to eat and asked to sit by the window. The restaurant had NO ONE inside except one table of 3 people. The server said "No, because we just cleaned that area. These 2 tables are the only ones we are sitting at." She pointed at the other empty table next to the kitchen door. 3 feet from the kitchen door. So I stood there dumbfounded looking at the entire empty room I asked politely "Can we please sit there by the window so that my baby can look outside and so that my baby doesn't disrupt these people?" She went to the back and asked the OWNERS if we could sit there. She came back and said "They said, No." Super rude Owners. Must not have children or know how to run a business. This is a good place for Hispanic Food as this Puerto Rican restaurant offers an ample variety of traditional dishes which satisfied local residents who enjoy Caribbean/Hispanic food. The atmosphere it's great, it can be a bit loud for someone who doesn't enjoy music while eating lol.. I don't mind. The best thing they had which I tried is the "arroz mamposteao" delicious! Saw this place the other day, figured we would give it a try. Admittedly, I thought it was a Mexican place. Turns out it's Puerto Rican, and I'd be shocked if somebody's abuela didn't personally spend all day prepping this meal. Place was clean, server was nice (and patient- my kids were nuts tonight), and food was perfect. The kids French fries were delicious also! I will definitely go back, or get it delivered. read more

After driving for more than an hour on my wife's birthday she wanted to eat a Lobster tail that they advertised on the menu, we ordered and they came back with a Fish and Shrimp plate. We said that we didn't order that and they said that the Lobster meat was inside the Fish. That was false advertising. Those people are just a bunch of Crooks. I was very excited to try this place after seeing the great reviews on Facebook, but the experience was not at all what I had hoped for. We walked into a completely empty restaurant at dinner time and no one to be found. We were going to walk out, but then the owner walked in carrying pizza and told the server who was on the phone hiding behind the counter to give us menus. She never let that thing out of her hands and service was horrible throughout. We had to ask for silverware, plates, etc. She never offered refills. The food came and it was literally hard as a rock. I didn't eat at all and my boyfriend with a stronger stomach ate some, She brought the bill while FaceTiming on her phone. Literally put the phone down on the table to grab a plate and then picked it up again. I asked to see the owner/manager and she said he had left, then looked me up and down and said thank you, bye. Never again. No wonder they were empty. read more
