Arriving at 7pm, me and my 2 friends the restaurant completely empty; it turned out that they actually don't open until 7:30pm, which explained the lack of other customers. About half an hour after we were seated, the restaurant was completely full - mainly with locals, which is a good sign :-) My friends and I were all on the same page that evening; pizza was what we wanted! There were quite a number of different options to choose from. Our server walked us through the menu patiently, and we all chose a different pie so we could try a several options. To accompany our food, we consulted the alcohol section of the menu. We chose a litre of the house red wine (a bargain at eight euros), as well as a craft beer (for my friend who doesn't drink wine). Our drinks came first, and I wasn't expecting much, but the wine turned out to be decent - completely drinkable. We were quite mellow by the time our pizzas arrived. The pies not only paired nicely with the wine, but they were really good! The pies were piping hot, with a thin, crispy crust. The toppings were generous and tasty, and there was just enough of the zesty sauce to balance the taste of the toppings and the pizza. When our meal was done, the attentive server brought our check promptly; the total came to just under fifty euros for a litre of wine, three pizzas and a beer. They were both amazing, but we are all trying to figure out when we can fit time in to come back for the bruschetta. The server also said that was her favorite.
