I will never use this company and I don't recommend anyone else does business with them either. According to other 1 star reviews I see, this seems to be a recurring issue. STEP IT UP!!! This is already a year after our plans have been submitted and he's still always there to help us out so it really says a lot about him and how he interacts with his clients. Jonathan met us the day after we first reached out, came to see the situation, and immediately put a plan into action. They not only fixed problems we weren't even aware existed (insufficient water proofing), but they also did a total re-do on our showers (walls, shower pan, shower curb). They also installed our kitchen backsplash. The finished products are truly beautiful. We had been so excited about the custom tiles we had purchased, and Jonathan saved us from what could have been a total nightmare - financially and emotionally. They are such professionals - cool, calm, collected....and kind. (We were also lucky enough to meet Jonathan's dad, Joseph, who was just as delightful). I hired this company to fix the slope on my shower floor tile. This was the worst experience I've…read moreever had with a contractor in my life. They did everything in their power to mess up this job. The work involved demo, hot mop, tiling, trash removal, and shower door installation. They only completed the first three. Read the other reviews about how 1) their men damage your property, and 2) they refuse to complete the work. This particular job was done so poorly they had to fire one of their guys. 1. To prep for the tiling, the mortar guy came, refused to do the work, left within 5 minutes, and we lost a day of work. 2. They damaged 5 of my wall tiles that were out of scope for their work. 3. The job was supposed to take 3 days, but ended up taking a full 2 weeks. 4. The job started on a Tuesday. They said it would be finished by Thursday, then Friday, then Monday next week, then Tuesday, then Wednesday, then Thursday, then Friday. The job still isn't finished because there's still trash here and two huge holes in my drywall. Every single timeline they gave me was wrong. 5. The guy said he would show up on a Monday morning. Didn't show up at 8am. Texted the office at 10am, said they would get back to me, no response. Texted the guy at 11am, said he would come at 12pm. Nobody came at 1:15pm, I texted again. The guy said 7 minutes. Instead, he showed up at 1:45pm. 6. They scheduled the shower door guy to arrive. But because they were so far behind schedule, the guy left immediately because he couldn't take measurements. 7. All I wanted was to fix my shower floor by re-sloping the tiles to fix an issue with standing water. I didn't have a leak. Yet, they told me I had to demo every part of my shower. When they got down to the hot mop, two of their guys said it looked totally fine and there was no issue. I asked if they could just re-use the existing hot mop. The worker said yes, the guy at the office said no. We could've saved 2 days of work, and I could've saved myself 1-2k in a quote if they would've just limited themselves to the mortar like they should have. This was my sign that this guy is out to scam his customers. 8. On the day the tile was supposed to be installed, the guy came way later than he was supposed to, didn't install any tile, and left, then rushed everything together the next day. 9. They were supposed to schedule the shower door guy a 2nd time to take measurements, he never came. 10. The slope on the tile floor, which is what I was trying to fix, wasn't fixed. 11. Trash removal still isn't finished. 12. At a certain point, they stopped answering my calls and texts because they were messing so many things up. The guy blocked me on everything. 13. Demo'd twice the number of tiles they needed because they wouldn't stop chipping them, which doubled material cost on my end. 14. Used my sink and microwave without asking me first. Flushed material down my toilet. Threw away my scissors they borrowed without permission. 15. Left a mess everywhere. Tape. Wall scuffs. Forgot to caulk the seam between the tile and floor. Dust everywhere, didn't clean up. 16. Tried to force me into paying for the drywall they damaged. 17. When it came to payment, they were ON TOP OF IT. Didn't waste a single minute. Literally the second they got finished with 3/5 of the job, they wanted full payment. Hilarious. 18. Clogged my drain. 19. Gave the shower door guy the wrong measurements. The job took 2 full weeks (still not finished, due to damages to my condo + refusal to remove trash) when it was only supposed to take 3 days. I had to make countless calls and texts to fix their mistakes. They lied about timelines, countless times. They lied about which work would be done each day. They didn't even fix the original slope I paid them to fix. They lied about the scope of the work. I had to chase them down, they had terrible communication. I will never consider using these guys again. They will over-price the quote, lie to you about everything, drag the project out, and not produce high quality work. Just go with any contractor that's cheaper than them, trust me, it will be a better experience.
