I was hungry and saw this place out of the corner of my eye. I stopped to check them out in yelp quickly and decided to check them out. Walking it the indoors dinning area is a little small but they make the best use of their space by adding a bar seating along the window. There is also several cute colorful tables for outside seating. At first I just went in for tacos and ordered my go-to breakfast potato, egg, cheese taco. Then after I ordered and paid I started looking around and saw they had a brunch breakfast and they had menudo in their buffet. So I asked if I could order menudo to go since I didn't have time to stay for the brunch in house. The ladies taking the orders are nice and the buffet looks amazing, I'll have to come back and try it out. I did feel like they took a little while to get my to-go order out. It would have been faster for me to eat in house. They brought my order out and good thing I looked at my order upon getting to my car because I noticed they had forgotten to give me the breakfast taco I had ordered first. They were pretty nice about it and I appreciated their apologetic and positive attitude about it and bringing it out as quickly as possible. So now, the first bite of my taco...OMG DELICIOUS! the tortillas are fresh and home made (made sense why it took a little longer) and it was piping hot! Also, the potatoes tasted fresh and not frozen, which makes a huge difference! The salsa was also very flavorful with the right amount of kick and I just wanted to drink it! I still haven't taken my first bite of the menudo but I'll come back and update the review once I do. Overall, I liked the atmosphere and the tacos...I'll be back again to try their brunch buffet and write a review on that...you should join me in checking them out! The place inside has very limited tables. Its small inside. They have tables outside too. Food is serve in a clay pot. Everything is small. There are some food that you can order that is still included in the brunch buffet. They have pozole, menudo, fideo, borracho beans, chicken & beef fajita, etc. They also have choices of salsas. You can also order for waffles, pancakes and french toast and they are still part of the brunch buffet which cost 16,99$ without drinks. They have aguas frescas, soda in bottles and coffee which you pay separately. They do not have enchiladas nor chile Relleno which are our favorites. Their breakfast is soft tacos. They have chips for the salsas. Churros is the only dessert . Food tastes bland need more seasoning salt for scrambled egg, more oregano for the menudo. Place is neat. Enough parking. read more

Should've taken a pic but I was hungry lol. Great little hole in the wall taco shop. Everything was very fresh and done well. I had chorizo and egg tacos. Wife had egg and bacon and egg and cheese. California poster dissed size vs price. You also get chips and soup no charge. Chips were home made and soup was fantastic fideo! Nothing was Cisco sourced or out of the box. What's not to like? Yummy, fairly new taco shop in South Arlington! This shop is close to the dry cleaner and CVS we frequent so we finally made it a point to stop it. La Guera is in a great, out of the way location with plenty of parking at the end of a small strip mall. Their menu is small and their drink selection is large. They have a selection of agua frescas and lots of bottled choices as well. We tried a large selection of their tacos and we agreed that our favorite was trompo. They have a yummy salsa bar that included chips, pinto beans, and soup. Everything was delicious! It's cute and a little small inside but they also have outdoor seating. read more

This place just isn't it 1) $3 a taco is even steap for California, wouldn't mind paying it if it was groundbreaking good, and.a bit larger. These are really small. So let's get to that part 2) I ordered the carne asada, chicken and pastor tacos, all flavorless. No marinade or flavor. The pastor was full of pineapples. Rice and refried beans were also flavorless. 3) salsa bar is abundant. I got almost one of each, they all needed salt. One was good and it's the chunky roasted Chile type. 4) you can grab chips to go, they're just okay. They also had the beans, but I couldn't grab any of those to go. 5) tortillas for the tacos were good, but sooooo greasy. All in all, im still on the hunt. Will def not be back here. read more

I have been to this new restaurant a few times. Their hot and cold salsa bars are outstanding! It's all complimentary. The quesadillas are very delicious and their avocado salsa is perfect with them. The overall look of the place and packaging was cute. The service was friendly, however - the food was extremely bland. The breakfast burrito with bacon was fully loaded but I was disappointed in the taste. I had a taste of my husband's breakfast tacos and they were bland as well. Green Jeep Taco Trip. Laguera Street tacos on Park Springs Blvd. Not bad for a lunch spot. A little expensive for me. The place is really nice. The kitchen looks immaculate. Great entrance. Outside seating is available too. There is a super cool painting on the wall. These are street tacos and they are kind of small but, the corn tortillas had a little bit of crispness to them, which made them pretty good. My daughter got steak tacos and I got Barbacoa and carnitas. We asked for grilled onions and they added them on the side. That was a very nice touch. They have a great selection of sauces, chips, beans and all that to put on your tacos. I guess the bottom line is they're OK. The Barbacoa had a decent flavor but the others are just OK. I had very high expectations for this place because it was beautiful and the food looked appetizing but I was very wrong we ordered trompo and tripa tacos I only wanted onions they didn't end up putting anything didn't give us napkins nor salsa it was our first time there and i myself have worked at a restaurant we always packed napkins and salsa without being asked too and they were extremely greasy and tiny overpriced wasnt worth it . Delicious! Being from south Texas I'm always searching for new tacos. The chorizo and egg taco was lean and not greasy. The carnitas taco was fresh and light. I'm thankful to finally have a spectacular taco joint in this area! When you enter you'll note the amazingly colorful atmosphere and was the lady who greeted me had a contagious smile, I would find out later in the meal, she is also the co-owner! We had the carnitas, chorizo, beef fajita, steak, chips and queso and the queso birria. Not only were they all very good, they also had a salsa bar! OK, I don't get it. Maybe it can be explained this way, some of the more critical reviews are from several months back and this place is fairly new. Sometimes it takes a few months to get into the groove. I tried this place for the first time tonight. I thought it was delicious and as far as the complaints that it's expensive, I recently moved from uptown in Dallas and I'm used to paying $10 for a free glass of water. It didn't seem unreasonable to me. I did my best to speak Spanish with the cashier and the ladies in the back, use it, or lose it, and all of us found it extremely entertaining. They were very accommodating and super nice. I had steak, Barbacoa, and Carnitas tacos. They were all served straight up as I would expect on two small corn tortillas with cilantro and onions. The only problem I had was that my elderly mother tried one of the tacos, and immediately stole a second one. It was all I could do to keep her from stealing them all. Fortunately, I bought six tacos and brought home beans, salsa, extra cilantro and onions, chips and sour cream from the toppings bar, and we both ate for under $20. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood! read more
