The chicken fajita burrito I got was delicious! Fresh and flavorful. Our waiter was very friendly and pleasant. Was helpful and answered any questions we had about the menu. I would describe this place as very rustic Mexican interiors and they do have a smoking section and bar. read more

I have noticed that in Oklahoma the closer you get to the Arkansas border the worse the Mexican food becomes. La Hacienda De La Reyes #2 is less than a mile from the OK/AR line. My wife, as she sometimes does, got to the point, "I would just as soon have eaten at Taco Bell." When the salsa and the beans are a failure there is no salvaging the meal. The Salsa was garlic with canned tomato sauce. Notice that I described the salsa using the word garlic first. The beans were grainy, meaning undercooked; then a failed attempt was made to smooth them out in a blender. The relleno was covered with the bland tomato-based sauce. The taco fair. The Chicken Fajita Quesadilla, disappointing. The guacamole was not good at all. Starting to turn brown and bad tasting. Had there been a good salsa available to smother the food, it could have been an acceptable meal (except the beans and guac). The restaurant does a good business because of the volume of food on the plate. It can not be because of the quality of the food. The lady that waited our table was a very nice friendly person. I appreciate her service. And they do the credit card fee, which I deducted from the tip. We are square. I will continue to do as I have for the last ten years......Drive by the restaurant to better dining. Where is the Enchirito, now that I need it? read more

Hands down the best meal I've had anywhere in the entire state in any Mexican restaurant. Better than Ted's Escondito or Abuelos and that says a lot. The chile rellano was superbly done, the beef burrito combined shredded and ground beef expertly seasoned and the rice i can't possibly do justice: every grain distinct, seasoned and cooked to perfection. I've never had better and maybe a few equal to it in Los Angeles. Trust me, this is the bomb! BTW, I got there at 4:30 and the washroom sparkled it was so clean. Staff quite friendly and didn't laugh at me when I ordered in Spanish and complimented the meal- my Spanish is fairly solid but my southern accent I've been told is awful. Hola, y'all! read more

The food is delicious! I usually get the grilled chicken quesadilla because when I tried it the first time, it was one of the best things I had ever eaten so I get it every time now. Definitely recommend. The restaurant itself is clean and decorated nicely so you want to stay. The restrooms are updated and they are always clean!! The service is always friendly... even when my brother embarrassed himself while giving an order. we have never had a rude or moody waiter. I've been here at least a dozen times so this is a general review of those times, not a single visit. I'm not one to give nice reviews for no reason. La Hacienda earned it. read more

The service here is beyond horrible. My husband had to get up and find someone every time we needed a drink, chips, and to order. This has happened the last few tines we have gone there. We go there because they have a smoking section that is completely shut off from the non smoking,.... so don't freak out if you don't smoke. But, the service is beyond horrible. The food is good if you want to chase down your waiter every time you need something Also NO toilet paper in woman's bathroom. Also there were only 4 tables with people there. What a great surprise! Staying at a nearby camp with my son and his class (Jenks Wild at New Life Ranch) & the parent volunteers for a little free time for dinner. We totally scored with this local Mexican restaurant. Authentic Tex mex - huge menu.. lots of great choices! They cooked Mexican food the way it should be cooked.. with some seasoning! Cumin,Cayenne,Garlic & lard! Creamy beans, fluffy rice.. hot tortillas.. great salsa. Place looks a little run down from the outside.. but it's worth the stop! read more

This is one of our top favorite Mexican restaurants in all of Northwest AR! We don't live close but drive here often fir the great food, good service, and great margaritas!!! Margaritas are not short on the tequila either. Very good! Also love the fact they are not stingy with their chips and salsa!! Salsa is delicious and they'll bring plenty more without begging. Fajitas were great. Slightly burned. Chips were good. Salsa was low mid. Tea was horrid guac was spoiled. Fountain drinks were watered down. Best part about the restaurant we're the clean bathrooms. Price is unbeatable though. You get what you pay for. read more

me and my wife used to luv to eat here . so we took are kids and grandchildren it took about 20 minutes to get the beer and we had to go and ask to get chips and salsa . and than we asked for water refills for grandchildren the older lady just brought us a pitcher of water and just slammed it on the table than they brought are food and never ask how we liked it . we also had to go and get are own to go boxes and are ticket and when we got charged for 3 more drinks than we received . the younger lady apologized but the older lady called us rude . i guess she does not care about her customers because we will never come back!!!!!! read more

i was a little concerned of not being able to find Mexican restaurants with food as good as South Texas. this is definitely a place to eat good authentic Mexican food. It is what it is. Convenient location right on hwy 412. Don't bother going any further west to look for food. You won't find any for a long time. It's on the border of Arkansas and Nowhere USA. There is another location in Arkansas a few miles from this one. This is the #2 location as specified on the sign. The chili relleno is really good btw. Good amount of parking. Cheap guac = happy me. Let me start with their bathrooms - newly remodeled and very clean! As for the food, I had the Cameron Poblano - shrimp entree. Shrimp was spicy, but not to the point of overpowering. Guacamole was a bit too salty. The grilled pineapple on top of the rice was surprisingly delicious! We also had the #10, with a chicken enchilada and chicken taco. We loved that the retried beans appeared to be made trash, not from a can. Everyone was very friendly and prompt. We would recommend this place as a must stop if you are passing this way! read more

Went to this place with eight others (nine total) they had a sign at the check-out saying there would be a mandatory 15% gratuity for parties of eight or more--what they did not say was that I had to pay 15% gratuity for the free "it was an accident" salsa bath too! No comp for "accidents" or course the owner/manager was not "availible" to confer with--if he wasn't "available", then why was the waiter standing outside demanding that we pay for some items his cashier left off the tab????...answer!!! the cowardly manager was pushing the waiter to handle it and not let the customer back in to speak with someone of authority and position ... My significant other and I are here at least once a week! All of the food is great and reasonably priced, and I can guarantee you will never find better tacos asada or homemade salsa anywhere else. The staff is friendly, and you'll never have to sit impatiently waiting for a refill or your check. They also have an awesome bar, with happy hour and drink specials running all the time. read more

Waitress was very polite and friendly when she came by the table, which was infrequently. The food was, for the most part, very poor. The salsa and queso were good. My daughter had the Khloe special which she liked OK. The cheese enchiladas were not cooked. The cheese was cold on the inside, and not melted. The fajita nachos were not edible. The chicken was grossly overlooked and dry. When I paid at the counter, I told the gentleman taking my money of our concerns, and his reply was "Oh well, live and learn". I have to give it to him, I have not ever had that response to a concern about undercooked and overlooked food before. It was definitely live and learn, as we have learned not to go back. read more
