He has received treatment at several hospitals, but the best care and most encouraging progress has been at Trinity Neurologic Rehabilitation Center in Slidell, LA. Visited the facility this past weekend and I was VERY IMPRESSED!!! The staff is PHENOMENAL, they were attentive and engaged with every patient and their family members!!! Observing them makes me even more hopeful for a dramatic recovery for my nephew.

Once taught the exercises, I was normally left to my own to do them in the clinic with an occasional glance in my direction from one of the therapists. After hearing a presentation by Jena Bratton, PT, I decided to give her clinic a try. It was so different from my past experience! After a thorough assessment, she had recommendations right away for me. After evaluating pictures of my work station, she had suggestions on how I could rearrange things to reduce the fatigue on my neck and back. I immediately felt a difference after following her advice, which made it easier to sit at my desk and do what I need to do. Every visit, Jena asked me about how I was feeling, and included appropriate treatment to my plan of care for that day. This clinic is truly a hands-on treatment facility. I was given exercises to do at the clinic, and someone always came by several times to be sure I understood what I was doing and how the movements would improve my situation. I did not feel ignored at all. Two firsts for me, cupping and dry needling weren't scary at all, truly painless, and helped relieve my overall pain. All in all, the exercises, cupping, dry needling, tens therapy, heat, and counseling improved my neck issues tremendously, and increased my range of motion. A big THANK YOU to Jena, Maddie, and Jacob of Bratton Physical Therapy for welcoming me to the clinic, and improving my quality of life! I've been to 4 different physical therapy practices for the pain I've had in my neck and shoulder…read moresince 2014. I've also had three major cervical spinal surgeries and am now fused from C3 to T1. Every other therapist said the pain in my shoulder was referred pain from my neck. The doctor gave me Botox injections in my neck and shoulders because the muscles were all locked in knots. They all got it wrong. Chia, the chief therapist at Angels of Therapy, figured out in JUST ONE VISIT that it had nothing to do with my spinal surgeries, it was the scar tissue from my mastectomies in 2013! It had adhered to the fascia and was pulling the muscles tight. No one else had ever reviewed my past surgeries, they just assumed it was spinal. It only took 10 visits to relieve almost 10 YEARS of pain and discomfort and get my shoulder muscles to release. I was in absolute awe. I'm so grateful to them for getting me range of motion and pain relief so quickly, and for taking the time to evaluate my medical records. Now that I need physical therapy for my left knee I insisted that I be sent to Angels of Therapy. They are amazing.
