The bartender was super friendly and happy to offer rec's. The menu is so fun, but primarily in Spanish. Some of their most popular cocktails have some fun doodles and imagery to go wuth them and we really enjoyed perusing the menu. We both started with the Ultima Duda or Last Doubt, which is their spin on an espresso martini that is mezcal based. Presentation was very fun and the cocktail was lovely. For my second round I went something a bit fresher and opted for the Sumi, which was gin based and had a lovely egg white foam, my favorite. La Botica is a tiny bar on the street. I was sitting on the street outside and it was a great choice. Perfect location to just chill and people watch as they pass by. It is really a small place so there are limited outdoor seats available but if you can, please sit outside! Great service as well - I believe the lady who tended us was called Melody and she was just amazing. I did not know anything about Mezcal and she offered to bring out samples so that I could try before ordering a full shot. I did not order the full size at the end because Mezcal seems to be too much for my taste. I got Mezcal Cocktail instead. It was very refreshing and good! They have all different types of Mezcal so come try all if you are into Mezcal.
