Shredded beef Papusa, chicken papusa, rice and beans with tortilla chips made fresh daily.

This tiny little place packs a punch! Just like the saying "don't judge a book by its cover", don't judge a restaurant by its exterior. We tried this gem from Yelp reviews and it deserves all five stars. We'd never had papusas and now I know what we were missing. Flavorful food, fun staff and friendly conversation made our Sunday afternoon delightful. We will definitely be back. *if you're in a hurry, go to McDonald's. If you want great food made fresh for every guest (that takes a little time)- head to La Luna in Berryville, Arkansas.

It's been 10 years since my lovely wife and I have eaten here. I'll be back next week! The food and service are off the chain and the food is slamming. I tried the Pupusa Barbacoa (shredded beef), and one chicken taco. Wow, wow, wow! Staff is funny and you can directly watch your food being made in front of you. Clean small restaurant that has it going on!

Excellent food made right in front of you. The pupusas are amazing. I highly recommend this place. It is even worth the drive if it's off you path.

Asada pupusa, beans and rice and a steak quesadilla. DELICIOUS!!!

Delicious, entertaining, and memorable. Chef Lily is as welcoming as she is sassy. We went with our 3yo and 5yo and can't wait to return.

She was nice, sweet, polite, she helped answer questions about the menu. She even asked us how we liked it, and our experience. And how she asked was like.. she really genuinely wanted to personally know how we enjoyed our experience. She likes her job and it shows. We received our pre-appetizer, appetizer lol. It's their (Salvadoran) version of a Tex-Mex chips and salsa. It was these little rectangle, fried pita chips, almost, and a small bowl of bean dip. It was good! I would have ate anything in front of me. For our appetizer, we ordered the chicken tamale. I've never had a Salvadoran tamale before and Omg! I LOVED IT!!! Oh my word! We ordered two, when we really could have just ordered one. They are huge. I have photos of everything we ordered and ate. It's still made with masa, but instead of thick and some what stiff, like a Mexican tamale, it's almost like the mass is soaked in something. And it's fluffy and basically falls apart when you open it up. And it's not held together with corn husks, they use banana leaves instead. OMG!!!! It took a min to get used to. The ONLY thing that I think they could improve on this, is cut the piece of chicken up so it's more distributed more through out. It was one piece of chicken, and on one side, so I ate 3/4 of it forgetting it even had chicken till I found the giant piece at the end. Other than that. OMG it was so good!!! And that's just the appetizer. Oh. And the chicken, when I did get to it... WELL WORTH THE WAIT... it was SO tender and juicy, I forgot I had already ate almost all of it before getting to it. Lol. I ordered 3 of the pupusas. MY FAV! I've had several of them all over town, so I already had my standards high. So I wanted to test theirs out and leave a review on them. And I was quite impressed. It was up there with my fav place in Rogers. So that made me happy. I ordered 1 each of the: Loroco y queso, Ayote y queso, and Pescado. I think Pescado was my fav, the other two, I really couldn't tell them apart. But they were big and good!!! And I have to say, the curtido wasn't super spicy like a lot of places. So this typical white girl could still handle it. It had a kick, but it wasn't so spicy I couldn't feel my face. My friend ordered the Churrasco Tipico, cooked medium rare. The flavor was great. But maybe it's just me and my lack of knowledge on curtain types of steak. But it was tender yet chewy. Lol. I know that doesn't make sense. But he said it was awesome. So maybe it's just that kind of cut. ‍It was still good. It just took me a minute to chew it. Bathrooms were clean, floors and tables were clean. It was just a perfect experience I have to say. So... over all... AMAZING!!! Loved it!! I WILL be back!

I went with the recommended sandwich (unfortunately don't remember the name but it was chicken based with fresh veggies) and some pupusas. The sandwich was pretty good overall. I thought the chicken could have been cooked a little better but I enjoyed the ingredients and the veggies were very fresh. The pupusas however were DELICIOUS. Metaphorically speaking, fall-off-the-bone good. I highly recommend the mixed option that is a mixture of beans, pork, and cheese (if my memory serves correctly) and I have since tried the jalapeño and cheese options and enjoyed them as well. I dance with these pupusas in my dreams and it's difficult for me to not get them every day. Everyone is friendly here and the food was prepared pretty quickly! Querí a practicar.
