The restaurant is a bit busy with decor, but interesting. Everything was decently clean. Service was immediate, polite and friendly. The food was a bit hit and miss. We both ordered combos; very good items were the carnitas burrito, chicken quesadilla, tamale and Chile relleno. OK items were the chicken enchilada, rice and beans. The portions are large, and the food is an excellent value. The house salsa is rather bland, but if you ask for a bowl of tomatillo salsa, it's much better. We'd eat here again. read more

Food. Good. Servers. Robotic. I think if they had an automated menu machine like McDonald's does the personal interaction/personality/friendliness would be the same. Buisness/cold. La Hurte in Springdale is owned by same family. Same menu, same tudes and same good food but could careless if your there or not. So do you want good food and cold shoulder service or good food and friendly attentive service. You don't get both at either of these restaurants. P ridge is the least cold of the two. Will I go back. Yes, its good food but my tip will reflect my return response. read more

Driving back from Crystal Bridges to our Air BnB and was scanning through Google/Yelp/etc. To find something open on a Sunday and not closing in an hour. Came across Diego's - ironically we just saw the Diego Rivera's exhibit - and was drawn by the street corn dip/black margarita. When we came in, we were greeted very friendly by the staff. They will a little busy so we anticipated a bit of a wait for food/service - but both were swift and stellar. My partner got the black margarita and it was gimmicky - but GOOD. Raspberry/Blue Curacao and Tequila combination made it a wonderful black color. Not purple, but black. My partner loved it. Next, we got the street corn dip. It was queso with fire roasted pieces of corn throughout - another stellar item. We got an Enchiladas Mexicanas, the chicken enchiladas was delicious and tasty. The refried beans and rice also had their place and were not just forgotten sides. They would be a great option for someone just wanting some sides but as a main show. I got the enchiladas Maya, which was cheese enchiladas covered in their steak, chopped style. It was an amazing option. All of this, plus a very chill environment and really epic and unique art pieces. The glass pieces on the wall were very reminisce of Chuluiy (sp?). All and all, go here if you're near by - it is worth it and definitely a way to get your money's worth and be full for a long while. read more

Wow! The food is absolutely amazing. Salsa is restaurant style and delicious. Portions are large. You won't leave here hungry.

First off I love the chips and salsa. The service was okay. I ordered cheese dip when we set down and they never brought it. The Tex mex style Fajitas were good but the charro beans were not. If I ordered again I would have the refríes beans with the meal. read more

We have eaten at Diego's a half dozen times. Every time hoping for it to get better. Well this was the last. Wife had chicken tacos and I had chicken n beef fajitas. Tacos were good had I got them at taco bell we expected better. My fajitas were ok except They had peas, carrots and Lima beans. The same ones I get in my frozen vegetables from Walmart. Never had fajitas that had frozen peas, carrots and Lima beans. read more

Wouldn't recommend going to Diego's for anything. I got an 87 dollar order and there was cinnamon all over my food in chunks. Then when I came up here for my refund or extra food and asked for a manager I got no manager and no refund then tried to make me pay for the whole order again. It's unprofessional and the one chick had very BAD attitude. Don't ever go here. read more

SO much better than Victoria's. They are in the same location that Victoria's use to be in so don't think they are the same place. The only thing they could work on is some of their staff doesn't have proper waiting manners, like reaching through other people to get drinks or menus instead of walking around. We had a birthday party for my friends Granny and they brought her a dessert, a shot, and a hat. They sang her a song and made it really special for her. We didn't ask them to, they asked us if it was someone's birthday. The food is really good and they changed the inside of the restaurant. They did a really good job. :-) read more

Pros: good service and atmosphere was ok. Cons: when we first arrived the waitress had dropped food on the floor when we left 45 minutes later they finally picked it up when ,they were getting ready to close. The food was horrible. I had ordered a fiesta taco salad and it was so salty I had my husband taste it and he couldn't even eat it. I sent that one back and the second one had so much lettuce on it I couldn't find the meat. My husband ordered enchilada Supremes and when it came out it looked beautiful. Till he tried to find the food. There was at least a half head of lettuce on his plate. There was no sign of a manger on site so i could not tell anybody about our experience. The women's restroom looked like a tornado but it. I honestly do not see how a restaurant stays in business serving food like this. Me and my husband will not return to this establishment. read more

Most of the food I ordered was pretty good. Liked the salsa but have had better chips elsewhere. The glaucamole dip was delish as were the black beans. The house margarita I ordered arrived quickly but I didn't taste any tequila in the drink. When I mentioned this to my waiter, he laughed and brought me a shot of tequila to add to my half empty drink which wasn't nearly as good as if it had been included to start with. Being cheated and overcharged on my drink trumps the good food experience for me. I won't be back. read more

Simply the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Nachos were nothing more than chips, ground beef and white Velveeta cheese. Enchilada sauce was flavorless no spice at all and was dark brown instead of bright or deep red. Cheese enchiladas www filled with white Velveeta not cheddar cheese. Three stars for what it is: it is a strip mall, Mexican restaurant. BUT when we walked in Saturday night there was unexpected live music. Well...just one guy, singing/ playing guitar, but it was nice! Music was great. Drinks: I had an on the rocks margarita, it was not my favorite. Made with a cheap sweet and sour mix. Hubs had the frozen. It was your standard mixed, frozen margarita. I ordered an extra tequila shot for mine to cut the limey, Gatorade taste. Food: We ordered a queso (or cheese dip as it is so called in this area). It was okay. No salsa or chiles in it. Chips and salsa were good. I ordered an al pastor taco, which was ok, it comes with pineapple so that was nice, and I also ordered, what I would call a beef, street taco. They called it something else. The meat was very dry, like it was scraped from the edges of the pan. Would not order that again. I ordered rice and beans with, it which were fine. Hubs ordered fajitas, they were nothing great. He ate them all though! Service: not great, but I didnt expect much. In fact service kind of sucked. We sat at our table for a solid 15 minutes with our credit card out before realizing you pay at the door. No one could have told us?!? I mean, my husband was staring at it the entire meal, but still... It was conveniently located close to our house, so that was nice. Oh, and they do have a very small bar you could sit at if you wanted to. I always appreciate that. Was there a manager or owner on duty? I feel like they are making a lame attempt at trying to do better than the other restaurants that have been at this location, but it could use one step up in my opinion if you want to make it!
