Unfortunately, I was consistently disappointed by the poor interpersonal skills of many of the cashiers at checkout. On multiple occasions, I was not greeted at all and felt treated as if I were invisible. One cashier handed me my receipt with a dismissive, "And there you go," without offering a thank you or a smile. While I did encounter two cashiers who were genuinely kind and friendly, the overall pattern was disappointing. I would suggest management re-train front-facing staff on how to greet customers and express professional warmth. Social awkwardness and backwardness can easily be misread by customers as cold, distant behavior.

The former freshly in-store-made pie now is previously frozen with a lot fewer ingredients. Even the cooking time has changed -- a lower temperature with a longer oven time. I popped the "new" pizza in the freezer a week ago with plans to eat it later. This evening I thawed the vegetarian version and baked it and attempted to eat it. The pizza lacked flavor and the green and red peppers seemed as though they had been dehydrated before being scattered on top. What a disappointment. The market does offer fresh, hot pizza for a higher price, yet no more bargain pizza that enticed me to shop there on Thursdays and buy a cart full of other food.
