We talked for a minute realizing there had been a misunderstanding on both sides. That Roll we were trying to order? We were looking at a menu for another restaurant with the same name. The guy offered to make us some rolls, and we said no because clearly they were trying to clean up and get out of there. He ended up making us some rolls anyway! He probably doesn't know it but he absolutely saved our night and kept an hour drive from being wasted. These folx were so kind, went above and beyond, and the food was GOOD. It was just canned whipped cream so that felt very pricey: the cocoa was average. I also ordered a cheese Danish to go and the employee just opened a box and the lid of the Danish cloche and told me to grab one. I feel like they should use a paper to grab it; I don't like the thought of other customers putting their hands in to choose. I also didn't want to touch my own pastry with my bare hands before washing. It didn't really make me want to return to try a sandwich. I understand that new employees need training, if that was the case. But I do think they should be familiar with what basic beverages are available.

Nothing to complain about except some of the items were cold - there was one person serving the entire bar and restaurant and obviously had some timing issues. Also some attitude: after delivering cocktails to my wife and me he forgot her mom's - after I reminded him he said "oh I know" and then proceeded to serve four other patrons' order at the bar and then another two top's before even starting hers. It finally arrived after the cold mushrooms were delivered. I'm chalking this up to a short staffed situation and a specific individual, so if you live nearby or are traveling through looking for a nice spot for dinner or lunch I would definitely recommend. The environment is also very pleasant with a nice bar and dining room of high top tables.

I wasn't a fan of the beef as it felt grisly and not well seasoned, but the chicken was grilled perfectly. I also got a ground beef quesadilla, which I would not recommend. So I'll avoid the beef and focus on the chicken next time, whether or not I'm able to bring four amigos along with me.
