**This review is for the La Maison de la Truffe location at the Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet** We came here for lunch while shopping at the Galeries Lafayette department stores because I love all things truffle. It was pretty busy when we sat down but luckily we did not have to wait long and the food came out very quickly. The seats were arranged to surround the kitchen in the center so we got to see the cooks prepare the meal in front of us which really added to the experience. I got the fettuccini and I was very satisfied with the execution. It was a good balance of the umami flavor from the sliced truffle and the cheese from the truffle cream, and a little salt, all coated in the fettuccini pasta. 5/5. Unfortunately, the risotto was a miss for my mom who ordered it. It was way too salty to a point that after a few bites it was too overwhelming to consume more. 2/5. Would definitely return the next time I'm shopping in Paris but will have to avoid getting the risotto.

From the amazing truffle aroma upon entering through the shop (get the truffle honey!), to being greeted and led to a lovely table inside, and the meal itself; this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The staff is lovely. The food speaks for itself. Great wine list. If you are a truffle fan, run don't walk. Seasonal and black truffles were available. I always go with black truffles, it's the move. Get the baked crispy Brie, you won't regret it. And DO NOT FORGET to leave room for dessert. Truffle ice cream? Say less. Just go.

Great place to eat truffle and foie gras I booked a table thru the main website and had no issues upon arrival . Also Available thru fork app Dinner was for 7pm and I was super excited to eat here as it's been on my bucket list for a while now. Highlights of my night Duck leg confit with black truffle . That duck skin I still got that taste in my mouth Crispy crispy duck skin did I mention crispy and the meat every so soft and juicy. Dark meat yes The black truffle quality was above average and got me for reals buzzed The scallops really fresh and jiggly. A solid 9/10 The texture and cooking was a 10 just a tad salty When it's already umami Foie gras came out better than expected. A solid 9 for the duck. I will come back and try the goose For tonight they ran out unfortunately Overall the presentation I loved . The plating and the decor was on point. Service was really good. The gentleman serving has skillz and it shows in his work. The resturant inside is beautiful with mirrors and low light setting. Very nice place for a date or family dinner. Heck I'd come here alone just to eat the duck leg again ;)

My absolutely favorite Restaurant in Paris. I'm a bit of a Truffle snob, and this place delivers! Well it better... After all, the translation of the name is 'The House of Truffle'. Just start by walking in the door and being enveloped by the luxurious scent of fresh truffle. Walk past the display case exhibiting the freshest truffles from France and Italy, as well as truffle infused goodies. This is my go to place for my truffle fix, so it's no surprise that I visit 2-3 times a week when I'm in town. The seared Foie Gras is AMAZING! As is the truffle pizza. And the Lobster Risotto. The Filet Mignon is one of the better you'll find in town. And for desert look no further than the Truffle Cheesecake! I'm such a regular, they make a special dish for me they call 'Rock Risotto'. It's creamy Risotto with steamed Alaskan King Crab Legs and fresh seasonal Truffle shaved on top. Sounds decadent doesn't it? Cause it is! It's incredibly delicious and mouthwatering. Service is unbeatable. And is what you'd expect from a high end restaurant. Staff and management could not be any nicer and professional. If you are looking for a nice night out with an incredible meal, Maison de la Truffe has you covered! Reservations are strongly recommended as this is a place that will fill up fast, and no one is in a rush to leave once they sit down. I can not recommend it enough. And if you decide to treat your tastebuds to a night of gastronomic pleasure, please tell them Rock sent you in.

Truffles! Truffles! Truffles! I'm in Truffle Heaven!!! Everything on the menu has truffles, even the cheesecake! Loving this restaurant and a must for any Truffle lovers! Everything tasted fabulous. From the lobster risotto, scallops, duck confit, chestnut soup, beef carpaccio, foie gras and cheesecake. I'm still drooling thinking about this meal!

We ended up here because we saw their other restaurant in front of the steak frites place (its now closed due to the pandemic). We love truffles so of course we had to check this place out. We got the black truffles that are more expensive because they are crispier and had to be preserved according to our super nice waiter. We kinda wonder if the seasonal truffles would have been tastier. We will have to come back another day to try them out. So on to the food : Starter: they gave us two tiny crustinis with delicious truffled butter. There wasn't enough bread for the truffled butter so I just put a lot on each bite of the bread. They sell it at the store as well. Later on, we got truffled olive oil with bread... It was late in the night and the bread was a little stale and the truffle oil wasn't as tasty as I expected it to be. Just tasted like normal olive oil but smelled like truffles. BRIE & TRUFFLE PIZZA - cheesy goodness. It has brie and their rocket salad which is arugula. I loved it but it was too cheesy for my husband. Be forewarned though that it's very filling so we barely had enough room in our stomachs for our other dishes. It's a good main dish and shareable as well. FETTUCCINI WITH TRUFFE (melanosporum black truffle) , TRUFFLED CREAM & PAN-FRIED DUCK FOIE GRAS - tip is to eat a little bit of everything with each bite. That's where the. Magic happens. Otherwise the individual parts of the meal are good but not great. CHEESECAKE WITH BLACK MELANOSPORUM TRUFFLE - Perfect end to our meal. It wasn't too sweet and at first it tasted a little strange but you quickly realize it's amazing and u want to keep eating. The crust was just perfect and so was the cheesecake. There were other things on the menu that we wanted to try. Maybe we can come again before the end of our trip. We got reservations to this place with the help of our hotel concierg. When we were running late, they called our hotel to check on us to make sure we were coming (we ended up at the closed location). Our server was so friendly and had such great energy. He was humming French songs and was very attentive and personable. Thank you for making the experience even better. The store for this restaurant has an abundance of truffled goodies. Make sure to check them out.

I honestly was not impressed given all the other truffle selections at other restaurants in Paris. The truffle was minimal and wasn't all that impressive - we ordered the more expensive option which was the Black Truffle, but again not so impressive. The only thing that I liked was the pizza, probably because there was truffle oil which enhanced the truffle taste. I probably won't be coming back next time I'm in Paris. There are much better options that are half the price - you just have to look for them!

You can smell the truffle once you walked inside the restaurant. It's small but very nicely designed. Everyone speaks English and they did not try to trick you! They provide tap water with ice, no problem. They table next to us was trying to give the waiter tips, but they politely declined and explained that tax and all service charge are included in All restaurant in Paris! I really appreciate their honesty instead of trying to take advantage of tourists. Yesterday when we were dining at Robuchon in Champs Elysee, when the party next to us asked if tips are included, the waiter said tips are optional(which is true, but it implies that it's not included in the price). Anyway, back to this amazing place. We were served with bread with olive oil infused with black truffle. It's so good! We then ordered: - fettucine with foie gras and black truffle(good, but the black truffle is not as strong as we thought it would be) - rissotto with bay shrimp and seasonal truffle(very good!) - cheesecake(with truffle! Sooo good! You can actually taste the truffle in th cheesecake!) They also sell a lot of truffle related items(honey, butter, salt, mayo, etc). We'll definitely come back when we're in town. Would love to try the other location as well!

Easy to make reservations online. They also have a little boutique where you can get samples and purchase some tasty truffle souvenirs either before or after your meal. Children are allowed in the restaurant. However, if you have a stroller they will ask you to leave it in the front. This will be a decadent meal. Obviously, it's all about the truffles and I was definitely drowning in truffle. The provided bread with truffle oil which was delicious. I could have just stuffed myself with this alone and left happy. We had the beef tartare with black truffle and a pizza with black truffle to share for the table. The beef tartare was light and tasty and the meat quality was very nice. The pizza was good. It's definitely not the best pizza I had but it's pretty hard to mess up flour, sauce and cheese with truffles. I ordered an asparagus salad with an egg with black truffle. I figured the meal would be pretty heavy overall and I wanted something lighter since I knew I would be taking bites out of my husband's fettuccine. The fettuccine is luxurious and extremely heavy. I recommend sharing this dish otherwise you are going to have to be rolled out of the restaurant. Even if you share this dish you're still going to feel heavy. And of course we had to order the pasta dish with the foie gras. It was rich, creamy and the black truffles shaved on top just made it over the top luxurious. Almost all of the items in the menu give you the option of either white truffle, black truffle or the seasonal truffle to be shaved on top. Depending on what truffle you get will determine the price point.

Yes. Don't overthink it and just dine here! It's worth every penny! I would say this was my favorite meal in Paris! Wednesday afternoon around 1 pm the place wasn't busy and we got seated within minutes. There are servers that speak English, they do offer an English menu and the servers will answer any questions you have. They have a tasting menu or you can order an entree. I ended up trying the Truffled Duck Foie Gras w/ the seasonal truffle and my friend got a truffle pasta. Both of which were so delicious. This place is pricey. I uploaded a few photos of the menu. You can also buy truffle oil/truffles by the entrance area of the restaurant. They have a huge variety to choose from.

Stepping inside the restaurant and you're enveloped in the pleasant scent of truffles. Along the walls, there are displays of truffle products, and the truffle infused olive oil is addictive. The hostess was sweet, she took our coats and sat us as promptly as anyone can expect from a French restaurant. Our waiter was attentive and professional, he knows the menu well and he does his job efficiently. We ordered a few dishes and you can get them with black truffle for extra charges. Just based on the extra cost, I wish they would shave the truffle at the table. The prawn risotto was a little too salty and the remaining dishes were okay. None would be memorable without the extra black truffle. Our food and drink came to approximately €300 and I left feeling slightly unimpressed.

We found Le P'tit and when we inquired if they would serve us they said yes if we ordered immediately. It was a few minutes after ten. We ordered at the bar then were seated at our tables. The waitstaff were incredibly nice. They brought whatever we needed including ketchup which, despite being American, we didn't want or need. :) The food was delicious. I had an almost perfect poached egg -just a little too cooked. They had a fair amount of vegetarian options for the person in our party to get a decent meal: eggs, salad and beignets de mozzarella, which I hate to burst your bubble in advance, is a very French and more appealing way to say Mozzarella sticks. They were still good for the record. Perhaps everyone should call them that and aim for that level of taste. Fried just right and a fair amount of cheese. I ordered the duck legs-no complaints there. It was tender and the side of potatoes weren't the top of my list for the evening but there was more than enough of them to share with others. The chocolate fondant was voted best dessert by the table. It won no contest. I'm glad we stopped in for an authentic food experience.

This place was okay, located in the Paris area yet somehow not very accommodating to tourists? So weird. Anyways, my friend and I came in here after a day of traveling and were starving. We wanted something light and decided to try the cheese that everyone talks about, and it was pretty decent. The prices were a bit wild (like everything else in Paris), but I guess that's what we get for stopping into the first place we saw on the street. The menu is pretty eclectic, so don't expect to stop in here with children and be able to get a grilled cheese and fries, it's more of that stuff that people in America eat when they come into some wealth and acquire a new money accent (you know the type).
