Enfrijoladas rellenas de huevo con chorizo

Muy buena opción de desayuno limpio agradable, nutritivo, delicioso dentro del aeropuerto Benito Juárez , en la Cd de México

Our last meal before heading back home. This restaurant is conveniently located by the security entrance which makes it the perfect stop. The food is full of color and flavors. They provide fresh bread and tortillas to go with all the meals.

Platter of fruit from which they serve you

The service makes one feel like royalty so many waiters attention at once! I like to stop here for breakfast before my morning flight. The fruit is fresh and you can choose from sliced cantaloupe, watermelon, papaya, & kiwi. They will serve you from a large platter. There is also a selection of pastry but I never tried it. The eggs Veracruz is good and hearty. It is scrambled eggs in 3 tortillas with a bean sauce on top and some cheese. There is also some spicy chorizo sprinkled on top. It is served with a salsa and some rolls. I always sit by the wall so I can charge up before flying. Also, they have free WiFi. It is like an oasis at the end of the food court. There are 2 TVs muted and some music playing in the background on low volume . The tables are not too close and it is never packed with people. The glass wall allows for people watching.

The steak was truly on par with a steak from Denny's or Waffle House, at 3-4 times the cost

Don't bother. Extremely underwhelming. We only went in because we missed our flight and had to get a hotel room and dinner. Honestly, I would have MUCH rather had McDonald's in the airport. It was soooo over-priced, too. The service was great, but it did not make up for the meh food and the outrageous prices. To make matters worse, when we walked out we realized that the place is connected by a lobby to two other restaurants! I'm can't speak to those places (one was a pizza/pasta place and I missed what the other one was), but they HAVE TO BE BETTER OPTIONS.

I was looking forward to a quiet and delicious lunch...

We chose this place because we had time and wanted to have a nice and quiet meal. The place looks very nice but you won't get what you paid for. Service was mediocre and food as well. I've ordered a plain hamburger for my child and it came a rare cheeseburger with grilled onions, tomato and lettuce plus the bread was full of butter. I cut the sandwich in half because it was huge but once my child saw the onions... so I called the waiter and explained my order. He said the previous waiter out the order in and he apologized. Then a few minutes later the same burger comes back with the same bun, they jut scraped the cheese and garlic off and grilled the burger some more. Who in the world would do that? Maybe a fast food chain, not a fancy restaurant. Then I ordered a spinach salad that had 1 leaf of spinach and some rotten pears. And then I ordered the grilled salmon with sauce on the side. The salmon was so dry and the "side of vegetables" was cold and the bell peppers still had seeds... what a disappointment!!! If the place was charging half the price I would not be so upset. But don't try to charge me almost $400 pesos for a mediocre salmon I will post some pictures

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hostess and shown to our table. They have minimal English-speaking staff, but we didn't have any issues communicating. There is also patio seating as well.   Menu was split into different categories from appetizers, salads, steaks, pizza, pasta, and seafood. We were surprised at how big the portion was, plenty to share. We ordered a few items:   - NY dry aged carpaccio: This was a massive portion. Cut perfectly into thin slices. A great choice for an appetizer. - Brisket tacos (3): Comes with 3 medium size tacos. Meat was tendered. Two different sauces and with your usual toppings. - Ribeye tacos (3): Same with this, comes with 3 tacos. My favorite out of the two tacos. - Octopus on the grill: My favorite out of everything we tried. I love getting octopus when in Mexico. It was fresh and grilled perfectly. It also came with fried potatoes which we all love. - Peasant salad: A good balance to the rest of the meal. A refreshing salad with sweet tomatoes. - Grilled cod fillet: The cod fillet was just the right texture. The sweet potatoes puree gave it a nice balance.   The service was amazing. The staff helped pour our water and helped with plating our food. I really appreciate their attentiveness. Overall, this was a great experience and would highly recommend anyone to stop by for lunch/dinner if they're in the Roma Norte area.

I conducted my search, finding a few places online trying to locate a good spot in a city I've never visited. Gardela stood out immediately because of their communication, kindness, and dedication to making this event extra special for him and his friends. They truly created and planned the perfect event for the group and I truly could not be more grateful. Onto the food (their honest reviews)! They said it was a 11/10 dining experience overall. The food was incredible and amazing and these are some food critics traveling from major foodie cities. They planned a beautiful menu with Chicken Tortilla Soup, a variety of Empanadas, Picaña Steak and Skirt Steak, and Peasant Salad and Fries as sides. They said the soup was super delicious and flavorful. They said the steak was absolutely phenomenal and tender, it was very high quality meat. Also the salad really stood out as it was super fresh and crisp. Then they plated a beautiful dessert assortment as well as well as special happy birthday and bachelor messages to make the celebration extra special. The cocktails were also super delicious as well. They left the meal with their hearts and bellies very full. From everything, from the planning, to the the presentation of food, the service, and food quality, the team at Gardela went above and beyond. I really could not have picked a better place and now I am jealous because I need to go try some of the steaks because they had my mouth watering! Overall, I would highly recommend going to this restaurant. They said they were seated in a private room too so it made the experience even more special. My sincerest thank you to the entire team at Gardela for making this event unforgettable!

Nevertheless, I ate everything on my plate. Also, we ordered meat empanada and corn empanada---both are delicious. Prices are a little steep $40 USD for 2. Temperature of the food could have been warmer/hotter. Nothing came out piping hot. My favorite was actually the chimichurri made with spinach, cilantro, oregano, garlic etc. The salsa was too "pica" for me. Sesame sticks (served with bread) have that awesome 'crunch' I like so much. I poured the chimichurri on the grilled octopus ---that hit the spot! Also, those who are checking in on Yelp! should beware that this restaurant will NOT honor the Yelp 15% discount. We showed the waiter and the manager the yelp offer. Both are unaware of the offer. EVEN if you show them the yelp offer, they refuse to honor any discount!!!! We tried to argue with them. The manager first told us he would honor the offer, then 5 minutes later he came back to our table to tell us that he would not honor it after we had already ordered. The restaurant isn't very accommodating. I appreciated the quietness of the ambiance. I got tired of going to other restaurants where it was so loud with a dozen kids screaming and running around along with loud music. They don't speak much English. So it helps to speak Spanish or have someone with you who is fluent. The menus are 100% Spanish as they don't offer an English version. Come if you want a quiet place, don't mind spending a bit more, and don't mind paying full price. The food quality is very good and fresh. grilled meats are their signature items.

We came to this small Argentine restaurant on Sunday night -- the two other restaurants we had selected ahead of it were closed. What a pleasant surprise for a third choice! The place is tiny but tastefully decorated. It looks like a coffee shop from the outside, so don't miss it. Once inside, the aroma of grilled meat and good food are almost overwhelmingly delicious. We did not have steaks this time around -- we weren't that hungry. Instead, we split some empanadas, fries, and a salad. The empanadas were chistorra and cheese, ground beef, and spinach and corn. They were all excellent -- hot, flaky, and flavorful. The fries were also good and crisp, and my wife loved the simple mixed greens salad. We also had some good, inexpensive wine. Everything was served cheerfully by the friendly staff. You can see the grill from the dining room, and all the other diners seemed to really enjoy their steaks. They did look delicious! It was pretty cool seeing people tuck into the 400g portions with gusto. From what I saw, nobody left with doggie bags. I'm definitely coming back for one of those bad boys!
