But from looking around it's not that their out of things, they just don't use the time to prep or cut things (most of the time the girls are in the back talking, while the guys are helping customers). Really sad I have to put such a low review for a local spot. I've been here twice with my partner and the first time we went we had gone in during their night rush in the last hour, for context we're both filipino so there are some vocabulary overlaps when it comes to Tagalog and Spanish- the staff were mostly spanish speaking and I'm not as familiar so I tried my best and the servers didn't even want to try with me and would laugh in our faces with how hard we were struggling... so disrespectful. Thinking it was just because of the night rush, my partner and I came back a week later during the day and it happened once again. The server looked at us in line and asked the person behind us in line to come up in Spanish, I said in English,"oh sorry, we're next" and the server started laughing under her breath and asked us what we'd like in Spanish, I replied w the fresas con crema, she asked if that was all in Spanish and I tried to say no and asked for a cup of the chocolate abuelita in Spanish and she laughed again and went up to another server and started serving another person in line. My partner even said that they heard the server start talking shit about us in Spanish, too. They take cash and credit cards. They do have restrooms for customers which is really great in case u want to hang out and chill there a while. They have tons of ice cream flavors. The ice creams have beautiful chunks of fruit and nuts. Where else will you find Gansito-ice cream with chunks of Gansitos? They have Dairy-Free options that are water-based and also have them in popsicle versions. I had Gerardo, he was super helpful and professional. On Sunday 08/14/22 around 3-4pm a group of us went to La Michoacán we were bragging on the quality and food service that we have received in the past with our friends. We all order separately. I order 2 scoops of ice cream in a cup. I told the short girl that it was separate. She drop off the ice cream in the counter and left to attend my other friends. A girl that has a piercing in her face help a guy and I was still standing there to pay. She ask me if I wanted something and I told her I just want to pay for my ice cream. She said $5.00 and I paid her CASH and gave her a $1.00 Tip. She didn't give me a receipt. I went out the door and then my friend came out and ask me Did you not pay for your ice cream I told her yes! Cause the girl (short girl) said that you didn't pay. I went back in and told her that I did and the girl that took my $5.00 said to my face that " I DIDNT PAY FOR MY ICE CREAM" very disappointed that you have workers that are pocketing cash and you are losing money.
