Not knowing what a Yema cake was, I asked them how it compared to the other 2 cakes and he told me that Yema cake has condensed milk and I was sold! The ube yema cake turned out to be amazing! It was moist, full of ube flavor and definitely not one to keep around if you have weak self-control like I do. Now I want to go back there to try the other Filipino snacks that I didn't get to buy the first time.
