This information was shared with the police. Maybe you've heard of this scenario before: A house is tented over a long weekend, and criminals use the opportunity to burglarize the house. The officer was polite and professional. I feel it was a positive interaction. And I derived a sense of security knowing information like this is shared with officers, to enhance their situational awareness.

The tone and approach did not match the situation. This experience has changed how I will handle future interactions. Moving forward, I will be more aware of my rights and limit my responses accordingly. All because of officers like Mr Cerda. People like him are what change the public's perception about law enforcement. Never in 15 years of diving and 4 interactions have I been treated in that way , with no provocation at all. The boy's flaw was not depression but people-pleasing, so the resource officer drove him off-campus to the children's hospital before leaving me a voicemail. When the emergency room called for insurance information, they wanted to know why he wasn't brought in by a crisis action team or an ambulance.

It was fairly easy and quick and I was given a receipt and I was on my merry way. The front lobby was clean and open and people were professional. I'd come again to do the Live scan again if needed. Currently they are looking for police officers to fill positions so if you want to move laterally they'll pay you $20k bonus to do it.

Hi, I got a parking ticket recently. This is obviously fair, I messed up. So I'm happy to pay this…read moreASAP to get it out of the way. This is going to be a long rant. The ticket hasn't popped up on the website for a week, and so I make a call to the office. Note that this ticket doesn't have the penalty amount due on the bottom, and the writing by the officer is not the most legible everywhere else (the reason for the ticket). I've also tried paying online, and it fails despite the ticket number being correct. Of course, it doesn't look like the tech and web apps here are maintained well, from an SE point of view. So I proceed with the call. After going through the bot, it determines that there is no ticket on the file, which means permissions haven't been enabled yet. So I get carried over to customer service: I get a lady on the phone, and I'm sure she's had better days and isn't always like this. However, right off the bat she's very rude and her pronounciation and emphasis of important words is not the best (but I don't mind this at all, but maybe she was rude because I was having trouble hearing her?). I'll even list the time I called the office (2:08), so she knows exactly who this is. She sarcastically says, "Did the officer give you a blank ticket?" after I answered her question about the penalty amount being non-existent. **No shit** it's not a blank ticket, how do you think I even called the office in the first place? Later, she asks me, "OK so what did the officer cite you for?" I stated that I'm not sure, I'm being cited for parking incorrectly and the ticket is not legible. And of course, she has to say "Well obviously you're being cited for a parking ticket, but what is the reason." I once again state that the ticket is not legible, because I just want to quickly get to the bot because talking with her is pointless. At the very end, she quickly gets me to the bot and presses a button to allow me to pay, and she does this very quickly and hangs up without any closing statements. Obviously, if I could get the bot instead of a customer service drone, I would have preferred to do that. She clearly hates her job and her life -- I wonder if the other customer service representatives are like that here? If you want to do your job properly, go through the script. And don't forget the "Have a nice day" at the end. It isn't that hard, and your job is going to be automated away if you're that poor at the one thing that separates you from a bot.

The lobby was empty and there is a sign to wait for someone to come help since the 911 operators have to answer calls and assist the lobby walk ins. We waited for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile we can hear the conversations and laughter of employees in the room next to the lobby (where the dispatchers are at). That was a bit disappointing since we just needed that release paperwork to get my car. Finally someone came out and asked if we'd been helped. Um no we haven't. So I provided the police report and my DL. 10 minutes later I was handed a paper that literally had my name written on and my DL # and license plate. That's it. That's pretty much the release form lol oh and the signature of the person that handed me the form. We were finally out of there.

Dispatchers are supposed to bring calm to chaotic situations, not add more stress to someone who is already shaken and scared. If this is the standard of professionalism for La Habra dispatch, that's a serious problem that needs immediate attention.

I called 911 on this day to report a hit & run that occurred to my loved ones & I. We followed the vehicle and the 911 dispatcher told us not to follow, and let us know an officer was going to be sent to our location. The officer arrived and he got the information needed & we sent him the pictures of the car that committed the hit and run on us. My husband (slightly intoxicated), sister in law, & I were on our way to dinner before the hit & run & I offered to drive since I was sober. The officer never once followed up with me if he needed any more information, we still don't know what happened to the hit & run driver. Now on 10/20/2023 I received a citation, court summons, and proof of service via mail. Officer Jorge Lopez Badge #23193 committed perjury by signing a form stating that reads "On 5/28/2023, I served this notice of correction" on the proof of service form that he signed. I did not receive a citation or notice on 5/28/2023. I called you guys for HELP!
