The boy's flaw was not depression but people-pleasing, so the resource officer drove him off-campus to the children's hospital before leaving me a voicemail. Upon service, she'd add unnecessary and rude commentary to her responses, which was completely inappropriate. Clearly these people don't know basic human decency. First of all I lost my phone and a good person turned it into the Fullerton Police Department thinking this was a good ideaI had proof my phone was there thanks to my tracker! Wow, this police department has so many bad reviews. Well, now I know why. I went in this morning to file a non injury traffic report. The cadets working the front were so rude. They were giving me incorrect information by telling me that I cannot file a non injury traffic report. So when I held my ground and said yes I can. The male cadet started talking down to me. Then when I tried explain my situation, he proceeded to mock me by saying to the female cadet repeatedly "didn't she just say...." as if I was lying. I couldn't even finish my sentences. Mind you, I'm probably old enough to be his mom. However, no one deserves this type of disrespect regardless of age. When they realized that I wasn't going away, he called someone on the phone then came back and threw me a card and said you can file it online. Absolutely horrible experience. Didn't even get to the front desk before the officer at the counter looked at me with malice and was annoyed someone walked in. This was 5pm on March 25th. The officer in the middle was the most unprofessional, malicious-intent-having, incompetent officer I have EVER spoken to in my life. My experience with police in general has been wonderful up until now and FPD should be ASHAMED of themselves for bringing in anyone like this. Felt like I was talking to a disgruntled hater. I reported harassment on a woman and in his responses he was sarcastic, lying, making excuses, and didn't look like he cared at all. He also seemed to have a particular problem with me. I'm a built man with a deep voice- you're an officer- we aren't in a boxing ring. He looked at me with absolute malice before I even got a word out and approached the desk. Long story short the harassment report was for a woman who was followed to her private establishment and then approached in a very creepy manner. He wouldn't take a report. He wouldn't let us speak in a more private setting. And just seemed like he didn't care or want to do any type of work, ESPECIALLY not file a report to keep a paper trail for a potentially dangerous man. Gave no advice just kept trying to get us to leave. Asked him to do a background check he couldn't even be bothered with that and said "that's what the internet's for" I cannot make this up. People around me were shocked at his behavior and even his buddies working with him kept turning their heads. Most insecure officer I've ever spoke to he had to be new. He couldn't even instruct me on the proper use of a taser and literally said he doesn't know. Who are we hiring into the PD nowadays? I would NOT trust someone like him for an emergency. You will not receive what you need and he a problem STARTER and will judge you. Definitely got intense racist vibes from him. When leaving three women came out and asked if everything with me and the woman I was with was okay. They said they were treated the exact way and all of the officers there act this way. THEY were more help than the OFFICER we spoke to and none of his coworkers corrected him. I was absolutely professional the entire time and felt like I was talking to a circus idiot. I'm telling you people around were SHOCKED at his behavior. To not even do a background check on a man making a woman feel as if they are in danger and not be able to answer me on the proper use of a taser and how to de escalate potential predators. "I don't know" is an insane answer. Upon leaving we should've asked for a higher up but because his behavior was so atrocious and his coworkers didn't correct him we assumed the whole organization may be this way so we ended up just leaving. Again, the civilians that ALSO needed help FROM the police were more help than the ACTUAL police and offered more support. 3 young girls. They also informed us he smirked when we left. I want to start by saying, there are great cops out there and I appreciate and support them 100%. Without them our lives would be much less safe and they out their lives on the line to serve us. I even donate to my local firestation and police department annually (I no longer live in Fullerton). It's these failed high school jocks who still think they are still in high school that give the good cops a bad name. I got pulled over years and years ago for driving home late at night. I wasn't speeding, I had zero alcohol or drugs in me or on me. Another cop showed up who turned out to be some rookie testing his newly acquired manhood (aka badge and gun). I had to get out of my car which they searched and of course found nothing. He was accusing me of being on meth because I was shivering in the cold winter night sitting on the sidewalk. He also said if I don't take a drug test he will have to arrest me and I'll have to take a drug test at the station. So I kept telling him to go ahead and test me because I was 100% sure I was clean and he wouldn't. Finally I was let go and found my car to be a complete mess with my glove compartment broken and scratches on my dash. I was pulled over literally 50 feet from the front of my garage at my apartment so I drove home. I wish this would happen today, with me being wiser and in the age of good quality cameras in hand. Got into a minor car accident / hit & run. On Nov 25th as my dad assumed we were only going to exchange information the driver ran. So I immediately contacted Fullerton PD. It took a while for officers to arrive on scene and it's understandable they were doing there pm swap / briefings there were no injuries just frustration. My dad did all the talking and the drivers mother was very hostile. Calling him crazy in Spanish along with other names I only told her "do you want to start now?" I took a few steps forward & she walked behind the officer . Who does that?! It was her 12 year old Child who pulled their car forward & hit my right side of my truck & ran off. The officers gave us several options including pressing charges but my dad just wanted a report there were 3 officers on scene they were very helpful & mediated the situation to where one of them initiated that the mother compensate me in front of them since her vehicle was a non op with Temp insurance. I am a strong supporter of our Fullerton Police Department. However, it is frightening what is happening to our downtown area. From the late night smash and grab robberies to the lack of consideration of homeless, using drugs in our parks and public places and not being removed. I personally reported a man, face down on the sidewalk, in nothing but a T-shirt, shorts and socks, laying in his own excrement. A police car approached him but never stepped out of his car, I suppose he was speaking to him through the window or trying to. But he drove away and left the man laying there. He laid there for at least another 2 to 3 hours and then he was gone. Who knows where? At what point will you start patrolling and protecting and serving again. With more bars and late night opening more and more over the next few months, something needs to be done to step up the police presence. I encountered an in person robbery during a meet up to purchase an item. Police arrived fast on the scene, but the moment they heard the amount of $500 stolen, 3 out of 4 officers just left giving off the "you're wasting my time" attitude. The remaining officer took my story and told me that a detective would follow up with me on the case. He didn't seem fully attentive because he kept getting my description of the perp wrong. A flat top fade is not an afro... That awful encounter was over 1 month ago. No calls. No follow ups. They purely dismissed the crime committed on me. They gave the impression that they're here to help, but they don't do shit and leave you hanging. UPDATE: I tried contacting the officer who assisted me since he gave me his business card (This would be Officer Brian Franco). He told me to text him if I have any questions. Just curious? But is it possible that the Fullerton PD take a look at the homeless camping out on the few benches in the Transportation Center area? It's a nightmare because of the bus situation, but the homeless take up ALL the benches (and there are not that many). I'm a Senior Citizen with mobility issues; I can walk ok, but really cannot stand for long with a great deal of pain. Last week I ended up having to use the Transportation Center as a transfer point further north. I ended up not going on to my destination, after standing for over 20 minutes I was almost in too much pain to reverse my trip to go home. However coming to Fullerton, the police officers are available, there is actually a human at the front desk for non emergency calls! After arriving home and realizing there had been a dumpster fire behind my yard, I called Fullerton PD. For the beginning the person on the phone was rude and dismissive. She found it bother some that I was calling to report the fire after the fire department has already been on the scene. She told me only the property manager could request a report be filed by the PD. I asked her why I couldn't request it myself and she then again said only a property manager could do that. So I filed a police report a day after the incident. I was assaulted at Matador in Fullerton me and my wife were victims of a hate crime. We know because the person who assaulted us had a previous conversation with my wife about her marital status and revealed she was married to a woman and he replied with "that's bullshit" anyways the dispatcher that answered my call was rude as hell and was yelling back at me for not understanding what I had just told her. I had to go to the hospital and be treated for a concussion and a blood shut eye and my wife for a bloody nose. I dont think I have ever reviewed a police department before... But why not. I have only had minimal contact with this police department but it has all been positive. I stopped in on a weekend afternoon, to see if I could get information on their Explorers Program. The woman and young gentleman at the front desk were both very friendly, and helpful. There was no one there at the time, but I was given a card with an officers name and phone number. The young man was very informative and helpful with who I would need to contact, and spent his time giving me as much information as he could. I called during the week and left a message, and my phone call was returned later that day. I was given a lot of information on the program and all of my questions were answered. I was able to attend one meeting, before finding out the program was not a good fit for the youth I was attending with. Both officers I spoke to over the phone and that night were very nice, patient, and informative. So as soon as I noticed the dmv Kiosk accepted the 14dollar insurance program fee, I paid it, even got a letter saying my registration has been reinstated that would have been around April 20th but Flynn wouldnt even look at my documents he was bound and determined to search it and surprise surprises he yell out April is this your wallet and I yelled duh isn't that where I got my license out of. Then he pulls out this huge bag of what appeared to be dope, I denied that it was mine because it wasnt mine. My bronco went missing for 2 whole days when Salazar told us to go away theFirst time , my guy had 3 cars to move, so as I helped him, the guy in the rv with flames your guys call him (peg leg) because he lost a leg in an accident offered to move my bronco, I was great full, gave him 20 dollars to put in my tank and then he disappeared off the radar for 2 whole days! Then he parked it right at the very corner Of Manhattan and Orangethorpe and took the keys after he intirely raped it and fucked off every u joint on the driveshaft. I fixed that in the cvs parking lot, then I had my friend joleen staying in my bronco for about 4 days till we could get her car out of impound. Then my bronco gets impounded! And again I feel the cops stole my fucking bronco so why in hell would I pay ya'll anything! And I didn't even get an expired registration ticket.. so my question to you is if he didn't find that magical appearing dope in my wallet and sent me to your sally port To get searched, where I happened to see your narks That I just saw at the 99cent store trying to pick me up, like a hooker? long story short! Officer Saucedo couldn't be bothered with my 1AM noise complaint. I advised the call was non emergency but almost 1AM and I could hear lousy karaoke at extreme volume across the street and down the block. That's how loud it was. Officer Saucedo's candor on our call was annoyed, and beneath her. She asked if I would "sign a formal complaint", when I agreed she asked me a 2nd time. As if I wasn't serious at 1Am on Christmas Eve. She asked if I was requesting to break-up their party?, to which I declined and suggested they simply turn down the music. I even informed that I was down a ways and that I felt bad for their neighbors. She had to mention, as if so petty, that I was the first & only call. Well Saucedo, I'm not sorry that I wasn't stabbed, rapped or robbed for you to feel this citizens complaint "worthy" of your time. I'm constantly praising, supporting & defending the great institution of Police Duty, but this simple request was a disappointment. You asked me twice, as if wanting to publicly shame me into signing a formal complaint in front of all neighbors. That's fine, bring it. But Is that safe protocol? Or perhaps an intimidation tactic to withdraw my request? And then she so quickly hung up on me as I was mid sentence trying to Thank her for her service. Really, Officer? If I could give zero stars, I would. I was in a 5-car accident recently, and had to call the police twice because they were taking their sweet time getting there. We waited and waited... the tow truck showed up, was the first responder, and pulled the worst car to the side of the freeway, before I attempted to call again because no cops or paramedics were there. It was probably another 10 minutes after the second call before they sauntered up. Eventually after taking all our stories, they offered a paper to sign for going against medical advice. They said it would be fine since my vitals were fine and everything... but nobody had taken any vitals. I had to remind the paramedic that if they're going to say my vitals are fine, they should probably take my vitals. Then today, I got a fairly large bill from the Fullerton Police Department for having showed up. I can't believe they would have the audacity to charge for showing up after so long, and haphazardly forgetting to take any vitals. The tow truck driver did their job for them. For people who are supposed to be helping, I've never seen them care about anything other than giving jaywalking tickets. I have half a mind to send them some donuts in lieu of payment so that maybe next time they won't have to make that extra trip and might do their job. read more

Fullerton police department was very unfriendly and spoke derogatory to me in a call back I received .I was born in anahiem California and I grew up in orange county California all my life and graduated Saddleback college. I inquired about volunteering and work posibitlies at Fullerton police department with officer bridges. He somehow obtained my email and sent me a email with a fake recruiter information named Danielle garcia ,I called her and she provided answers to my questions about dispatch position. I later called and left a voice mail and her supervisor called me back and in a very derogatory tone told me not to contact Danielle "recruiter " and said that all my calls and voicemials can never happen again. I only left her one voice-mail detailing my reason for calling in a sober and serious fashion and spoke normally on the voice-mail. The supervisor pretended like I spoke abnoxiously not making sense which I absolutely didn't speak that way . The fact that they got ahold of my email address and pretended to be trying to recruit me which they clearly were trying to possibly try to trick me into arresting me illegally or harassing me for calling their station which is something any tax paying citizen with a real ID card should be able to call their local police station without them harassing and poaching their own citizens . Very unfriendly and they offensively speak to callers in offensive manner which definitely shows guilty bad cop tactics to detur citizens from whatever their trying to hide from their citizens . I'm disappointed that I can't work help officers protect the public in my own county . read more
